Generous portions, food very average. Roasted duck and rice and chicken and garlic (which was actually deep friend and swimming in sweet and sour red sauce) and rice. 25.50 with two drinks.

Good food at reasonable price, a lot better quality than other options on campus even if you will pay a few extra quid

In my opinion, it's the best food spot on campus. The beef flank with rice is very good.

I’m honestly not sure why this place is rated so badly. Unlike the reviews foods are made freshly(you can literally hear the wok making sound). Price wise it is much cheaper than average Chinese restaurant price and portion is huge!! Would like to comeback!!

A nice cafe like restaurant for a quick bit to eat

Cost efficient, only 12 pounds with food and bottle drink, the lunch box is huge, I cannot finish it! Nice food! The staff are very friendly and chatty, good place for food!

This place is expensive for lunch - £12+ for one of the daily specials and a can. However, that's the only reason I don't eat here more. The food is very very good. I have recently enjoyed sweet chilli chicken and my favourite country style pork. Go to the counter- there's a list of specials and I've not had a bad one yet.

After eating, my classmates and I all ran away, thank you.

It's an okay place with high prices.

Had Chinese dinner on campus. We ordered stir fried beef with black bean sauce, wonton soup, stir fried pork ribs with oyster sauce and special fried rice. It's not fancy, but a good place to eat if you're on campus and craving for fried rice.

Good place if you go to George Fox a lot.

It doesn't matter if I order the cumin mutton. It's spicy. It's acceptable, but it doesn't taste salty at all. The rice seems to be warm all the time, so it feels like an average meal. I'm disappointed once I order it, it tastes terrible and the service attitude is mediocre 👎🏼 It's impossible to come back again

Very bad service. I paid by card for ordering and can’t finish them, so I ask a take away box, they refused , and asked me extra charge but only in cash . And they can’t do card payments and the only way is that i pay cash for the extra charge 20P. Highly recommend to avoid this restaurant

Like other Chinese restaurants in the UK, only a few dishes are good. As with any Chinese restaurant in the UK, there are very few good dishes.

This restaurant was so bad. I ordered the simplest meal and it was awful. It was so bland. The service was dreadful and there were stupid charges. Don’t go here!

This restaurant was shockingly bad. Terrible service, extra charges for card payments and takeout boxes, far too expensive for a student, and the food was microwaved in 30 seconds and served terribly. Avoid at all costs.

They catered to my vegetarian preferences and loved the spice level. Highly recommend for Chinese food in campus.

Good food, reasonable price and nice staff

The price is similar to that of restaurants outside Ordered a dish of fried sea bass It can be seen that the fish was fried in advance and is not very fresh. That's okay. The key is that it doesn't taste good. It's not salty or spicy. After finishing the meal, I found through the arrangement of the fish head and fish bones that it was not sea bass at all and was slaughtered severely.

If you don’t know how to cook Chinese food, I suggest you not cook it. Can this be called pickled fish? ? ?

Best dish on the menu - Fried Chicken in Oyster Sauce!!

This is a Chinese restaurant catering to the large Chinese student population. Authentic good food, extensive menu, generous portions, reasonable prices. No alcohol — and no BYO allowed.

You get good food and good portions in this busy, noisy, happily chaotic restaurant. It is a place for food, not ambience, but the food is very good, if a bit expensive for some dishes.

Portion sizes are large however are mainly made up of rice and food was heated in a microwave instead of freshly made. Despite all of this the food tasted nice and there was plenty of space to sit and enjoy the meal. Keep in mind it is expensive for students even though it is located on campus.

I came here for lunch, and honestly, I wasn’t that impressed as the food felt like it was not fresh and had been lying around in the pots for a while is the food was cheap, it would have been ok, but it was pretty expensive. The portion sizes were not that great either as you are only given a tiny portion even though it’s two main dishes per plate. The good thing about this place was that it wasn’t that busy and had a nice area to sit.

Take away was a robbery portion size was so small for the price and the food had no flavour

Lovely hole in the wall at Lancaster Uni, I've been eating here for almost 10 years! It's gone through name changes but the food is still spot on. They offer great meal deals too for those who want to try a few different dishes via the box meals. It's also handy if you don't fancy spending too much money, although I think their entire menu is priced reasonably. My favourite so far is the fried beef in black bean sauce.

Fantastic portions. My Chinese buddies told me this was the most authentic place in Lancaster for Chinese type food. They were not kidding. Absolutely delicious. We had the Fried Beef Black Bean Noodles, Roast Pork and Rice and Wonton Soup. I absolutely loved it. Staff were friendly and polite. Service was quick. Will be back again.

Food was well priced, friendly staff and food was great. Huge portions for the price. Really enjoy the salt and pepper chicken, the dumplings were a bit too doughy but otherwise great meal, great value for money. It's a hidden gem, we were the only people visiting.

Who would believe Lancaster's best Chinese restaurant hides in a remote part of a university campus? Absolutely delicious! I can't recommend it any more.
