Zizzi in Lancaster

Really lovely meal and excellent service, special shout out to Izzy and Kacper!

We went for lunch here yesterday, I don't know if they were short-staffed or whether Zizzi's simply aren't employing enough people, but the few members of staff on duty yesterday were overwhelmed by the number of customers. We had to go and ask to order with each course as no one came to the table, our food was the wrong side of tepid, and even getting someone to take our payment was a challenge. I won't be going here again.

There was no chorizo or prosciutto in the pasta.

I really liked the decor here! I think it has one of the best atmosphere in Lancaster. Although the portion size was a little disappointing I flavor and the service was good overall 😻

Always come here when I come to Lancaster to visit friends, great food and friendly service. Restaurant is very clean. Big thank you to Shane who really looked after us and helped us choose great meals. Will be back again soon

I came in for my works party on Friday 20th , Andy served us we were a party of 10, great service, Andy and all staff were so polite and friendly and accommodated all our needs. Would recommend stopping here for a lovely meal! 🌟

Lovely little restaurant. I found my lasagna very oily (compared to usual) but when I spoke to the waitress they did make me a fresh one which was miles better. Attentive service. Would revisit.

New vegan options are great! The Rustica Aubergine 'Meatball' pizza was divine, the aubergine meatballs were perfection & the roquito pepper pearls added the perfect amount of spice! 🍕

Not a great experience at all. Drinks order was taken fairly* quickly, otherwise we would have ordered on the app. By fairly*, it still took a while but as we had started the order in person, thought best to finish that way. Drinks took forever to arrive and even when they did, a partial order arrived until we chased it up. Took ages for someone to take our food order, despite saying we were ready when we got our first lot of drinks. Food service was also extremely slow. Main pasta courses served cold and tasteless, no pepper offered or on tables, calzone had a raw crust and no meatballs as listed on the menu...when questioned, they said they had no meatballs and was substituted with extra chicken. That would have been fine if been told in advance and had opportunity to order something else. Cold pasta they offered to remake, but after nearly 2 hours from arrival, we had a 4 year old who needed to get to bed. Asked for the ice cream that came with his kids meal, which still took 15 mins, 2 out of 3 ate the cold pasta just because of the time it took to actually arrive and were starving. Second time in this restaurant, first time we put down to newly opening, so decided to give it another go, but definitely will not be returning. Such as shame as the menu looks so good, but lacks the flavours offered.

We went on a Wednesday and it was brilliant. The food was delicious, had a good atmosphere can’t wait to go again. Our server Shane was excellent and catered to our every need.

Came here on a recent trip. havent been to Zizzi for ages, but it did not disappoint. Food was delicious and our server Shane was brilliant. He recommended some dishes that did not disappoint and his service was brilliant. Thanks so to the much chefs and Shane, can't wait to return

Popular restaurant in lancaster .Inside a lot nice people .Quite nice design , but in some places wall scarting dust need be clean more proper . More than 1 hour waited for meal .Understand that a lot people waiting the same ,but realy too long special if you are hungry . Starter came after 35 min . Undercooked shrimp, half raw. I tried it and left it. My husband chose garlic bread with cheese - ok, my daughter chose rice and cheese balls - tasteless.ok No one served sugar for tea with lemon, so we had to go and ask. After another 40 minutes, pasta carbonara was brought.....I eat it in many places in the world....pasta half al dente, half undercooked, a rather salty sauce mixed with a little panchetta. On top for decoration??? Dried and baked prosciutto and cheese in the shape of a semicircle. No one liked it...because how can something taste that is not edible. Well, we can't wait for dessert.We ordered cheesecake with raspberries. Cheesecake made definitely not with typical white cheese, but some kind of yogurt. Topped with such a sweet syrup and raspberries that it is impossible to eat. Why the syrup? To kill/cover the taste of the yogurt instead of cheese, next to it a scoop of ice cream. I try .... I have never had such chemistry in my mouth. After the first try none of us wanted more. The service man came up to us so I explained what was happening. The man apologized because .... and here is an interesting fact: The kitchen does not cook everything because it receives ready-made semi-finished products to heat up or finish. Ah, so everything is clear.So there is nothing here that is prepared by the chef from scratch from fresh products - sad. The service man wants to give me 25% redundancy. I explain that it is not necessary, I do not care about money. What I mean is that when going to a restaurant - not to a cheap pub, I want to sit in a clean, nice space, feel the taste and atmosphere of the place, be delighted by the good taste of the dish and enjoy the moment. Unfortunately, I left here very disappointed and I will definitely not come back. It is a pity that Lancaster does not have a decent place where you can go, eat well and tasty, drink good quality tea or coffee or a glass of high quality wine. I am willing to give a palace for good food in a good place.

two of us went around 4 on a wednesday was served by izzy who was lovely very enthusiastic ordered pizza they were good but the chilli’s on one were sweet which was abit odd unsire if they accidentally put on the candied jalepenos by accident? either way the pizza and service was great :)

Very poor slow service, average food and small beer selection. Staff concentrating on takeaways and not paying attention to the restaurant. Not a good experience

Andy is the perfect host. He goes above and beyond to make sure everyone has the best experience possible. The other members of the team are always polite and courteous and the service they provide is excellent. The food is always fabulous, with a great range of specials which are changed regularly.

Been here a couple of times. It's a pleasant atmosphere and the service is impressively quick. But I've found the food to be disappointing and lacking flavour. There are better options out there for chain Italians.

I really like going to Zizzi's in Lancaster, it has very good food for a very reasonable price and a good atmosphere. The staff are very friendly, especially April who has been our server a few times we have been.
