My friends and I , went out for lunch this afternoon . The food was good however one of the pastas was a bit watery . The service overall was good however we were charged a 10% service tip without our knowledge which exceeded the bill by almost £10 making our lunch an expensive one. Then after we had finished we went to the lavatory one of my friends slipped on the wet floor (which there was no sign to indicate) and injured herself. We were also made aware that the floor was not clean as there was a large stain left on my friends trousers(which is highly disturbing) .

Got our drinks in a good amount of time, managed to be seated despite being busy which we appreciate, servers were lovely and attentive despite being busy and the food was lovely

Nice little place. Food nice and prices good. Only fault was there was no disabled toilets. We went with a friend who has difficulty walking and he struggled going up and down the stairs to the toilets. They are very steep. Staff did say he could go to the place next door and use their toilets but not really what you want when half way through your meal.

The staff couldn’t do enough. They were so attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. The manager especially was lovely, and his team were very friendly. The food was so tasty and well-cooked. 10 out of 10 best Bella Italia I have been to by far.

Wow, great food, amazing service, what more could you ask for! All the staff were super attentive from the moment we walked in. Food was prompt and tasty, I will definitely be visiting again soon.

Bent over backwards to find us a table on Mother’s Day. Food was amazing was really busy but the service and staff were excellent. Wait times on food were minimal and the quality was fantastic. Really can’t recommend highly enough.

Recent visits have been left disappointed due to poor service and potions being tiny. Most importantly, they don't care about allergies as if you have anything their response is to not eat there. Nothing can be adjusted, which says a lot.

Food looked and tasted amazing quick service even when busy

It was my birthday and they had kindly decorated the table with banners/balloons etc. Food was lovely, server was attentive and pleasant. Good menu selection. I even got a birthday candle in my dessert. Can recommend Bella Italia!

Travelling around the North-West of England at the weekend, I found myself dropping into Bella Italia in Lancaster. The waitress was very friendly and welcoming and showed me to my table, settling me in with a menu and taking my drinks order. The table and seats, indeed the whole place, was clean and tidy. My drink duly arrived and, after mulling over the choices, I decided on what food I wanted. A second, equally pleasant, waitress took my food order, which arrived with little delay and was excellent. Overall, it was a very pleasant dining experience, helped by the friendly staff.

Server was Ashton, lovely young lad, really caring made our experience amazing. Only shame was a pizza mishmash but kitchen dealt with it very quick

It's a good place if you're new in town

It was my birthday and they made a real effort, decorated the table with balloons and banners and wrote 'happy birthday' in raspberry sauce on my dessert plate complete with candle. Excellent food, service and choice of menu.

Good food and friendly service. A little pricey, but you can get student or blue light discount. We were a table of 6 and we all enjoyed our evening.

Didn't have reservation Saturday early evening but found table, quick and friendly service from staff, hope they do share the service charge. Food good, typical Italian UK cuisine. I can recommend.

So friendly, so attentive, delicious food, a great special occasion trip out for our family and birthday girls and younger guests. The children’s menu and £1 kids deal made this luxury trip out affordable and stress-free.

It's quiet in the week in the day which makes it more intimate. The garlic tomato bread and chicken burgers are amazing. Makes a change that food comes out hot. Great food and service every visit.

Our party came for the not so festive meal. There was nothing to suggest it was a Christmas meal. We thought the tables would be festive with crackers etc... No. It was very busy (too busy)... very loud, one person was still eating their starter and the server was putting down mains. Cutlery wasn't the cleanest at times and someone's pudding had to be sent back as it was too cold. We had to watch whilst other diners were being offered drinks and we had been sat longer. The starter and mains were nice but pre ordering we lost out on being able to order sides etc.

Had a great experience on our visit here! Me and my girlfriend went for dinner and were delighted by the kind, attentive servers and the quality food! Would highly recommend!

Six of us visited on a late Sunday afternoon - the restaurant wasn't very busy at all. Food was average for a chain restaurant - don't expect anything fancy. Pasta was overcooked and dishes were definitely lacking in seasoning. Pizza looked like it really could have done with a few more minutes in the oven. The sevice (or lack thereof) is what really let the visit down. Our waiter seemed completely uninterested and was very difficult to understand. To their credit, they were very good about a member of our party's intolerances.

I was really impressed with the food. The service could have been better. We ordered from the 2 course special menu, plenty of choice and a good price. Food and drinks arrived in good time. The meatball starter was delicious as was the chicken pasta. A good filling meal in a nice relaxed atmosphere.

Came here because the only italians in morecambe seemed to be take away pizza! anyway the set meal 2 course for £20 was good. nice mushroom started and pasta main course. ok prices, hot food. can order by app if you dont want to talk to anyone but the waitress was nice, friendly and chatty so why not speak in person. would come back again

I was served by Luiba. She is an incredibly sincere and very kind person. She helped me to choose a dish as I am lactose intolerant, it was very nice and pleasant. In addition to her, other workers brought me food, who are also very good. Thank you for this atmosphere and delicious food and especially Liuba for her help))

Took the kids for pizza & mocktails. They had a great time, and the service was bob on!! The waiter (think he could have been the manager) made a real fuss of them, they were like little ladies that lunch.

Only criticism is tables too small for a family with food . 2 adults & 2 grandchildren far too small

Our visit to this restaurant was an absolute treat from start to finish. We started with the lasagna, which was a comforting slice of Italian heaven. Juicy, tender chicken was charred to perfection, and the burger was loaded with fresh toppings that added a burst of flavors with every bite. What's even better, they offer a student discount, making this culinary experience not only delicious but also budget-friendly. The combination of great food and affordability is a winning formula. Overall, our meal here was a fantastic experience, and we'll definitely be returning, especially when looking for a tasty yet budget-conscious dining option.

We was walking passed and decided to get 2 beers, it was warm weather so we sat outside, the waitress bought the beers with the change which was short. So we went to ask why. To our amazement they applied a service charge £3 In my life after dinning in many restaurants/pubs and being in the industry for 30 years. I have never paid a compulsory service charge on top of the price of 2 single beers. I understand hospitality is tough but these little things makes people not go back. I can see now why only 1 table sat inside when very busy passing trade.

The portions could have been bigger, but it was very tasty. The service was fast and friendly but a couple of times they asked to take the food away before we'd finished the meal.

Great place for a nice bite to eat and the staff really welcome you and make you feel at home.

Pizza was like cardboard with the thinnest of coverings. Wine was brought and put down on our table with the stem and base covered with wine. I had to clean the glass prior to drinking or it would have dropped onto my clothes. Complained re the pizza and they at least did not charge us for it.

Very swift in seating us down and getting g us our drinks. A nice selection of alcoholic and non alcoholic cocktails/beers. A wide array of meals and a very reasonable set menu deal which you can choose either a 2 or 3 course meal. Honestly no issues at all. A good restaurant to bring a young family in particular.

Great place, nice helpful staff even for us "old folk" who order the traditional way. Gluten free menu has a wide selection, great location on the corner of Church Street. Only dropped a star as it was a little noisy with small kids but gets sociably quiet in the afternoon.

Stayed up in Lancaster recently first visit wanted to try Italian food after visiting Venice recently. Ordered a few dishes for comparison which I had tried in Venice. Food was either over cooked or undercooked with no or very little taste or seasonings. Maybe some of the ingredients or vegetables used were not very fresh but I was left less than impressed.

Very poor service and food was bland very expensive for the quality of food, I would avoid if you were thinking of trying this place

Disappointed, food was OK, we had tesco clubcard vouchers which meant the meal was paid for by our tesco shop. Staff great, but if I'd had to pay cash for the meal I'd be feeling ripped off. For the same money as I'd paid for drinks and garlic bread, I could have had two meals with drinks at spooners.

What you would normally expect from a chain. (Food wise) However, the customer service was amazing, the gentleman on duty and I believe his wife went above and beyond for all customers in the restaurant.

Hadn't booked but no wait for table, staff are friendly and always ask about allergies. Good choice on food and drinks menu. Food arrived quickly, was tasty and hot. 10% service charge automatically added but staff happy to remove so you can add your own.

Just back from a lovely visit to Bella Italia. The service was first class. The food was great. We both had calzone- can highly recommend it. Also had the house red which was really nice. Didn’t have dessert as we were too full but the coffee was great
