I was waiting for a train and I saw this coffee shop a short distance away from the station in Porthmadog. It was virtualy empty appart from one other customer. I ordered a cappachino and waited for it to be made before sitting near thge window with a view of the Tesco store and carpark. The coffe wasa average although cheaper than most other cafes but it was too hot, almost boiling. As I had to wait longer than expected I only just caught my train!

This place doesn’t look like much. It’s a bit run down and not exactly welcoming but we always call in when on holiday for their sandwiches and sausage rolls. Fresh bread rolls. We always have ham, salad and coleslaw baps. Proper thick ham. Seems to be where the Welsh locals get their lunch! Definitely worth popping in for a sandwich and very well priced. £12 for 3 baps and a sausage roll! Can’t go wrong!

We went here by mistake, we assumed it would be busy on a Saturday morning and we were the only ones there, the smoothie machine was broken and they had no diet drinks for type 1 diabetics. I ordered eggy bread with cheese and I was served an on letter with two slices of break with cheese in the middle.x extremely bizarre and extremely grim. Overall bad experience. Ps the old lady in there was definitely a werewolf / look at the hands!!!!!!!!!!?! DANGER BEWARE

We visited on a lovely sunny day in October and we managed to sit outside as the weather was a balmy 15! We had coffee, toasted tea cakes and sausage rolls, all quite reasonably priced. Bacon rolls £4.25, Sausage Rolls £3.25, toasted currant tea cake £2.95, coffees all around £2.95. They take cash or card unlike some of the other places in Abersoch that only take card payments.

Alana is a scam artist. Sends damaged squashed and disgusting cakes and then refuses to refund, would not order again from these people

We called today (19/10/17), and after the fantastic greeting, even my Service dog, got a sausage. We chose Jacket potatoes (1 cheese and beans the other chilli and cheese) with side salad. The portions were sumptious and very filling, washed down with 2 big mugs of tea..Total cost £11.90. We have paid a lot more for less, the girls were very friendly, so this place gets a big thumbs up from us.

We think this has new owners as we encountered friendly , efficient service and excellent tea and scones . The scones were large , freshly made that morning , and very fairly priced . Most customers were having bacon sandwiches and the cafe is obviously gaining a good reputation . They deserve to do well . ( How about adding a vegetarian/vegan option to the menu ? Or use oat milk in the scones instead of dairy - then we can all eat them ! )

The Queens was close to where we are staying. We had gone for a walk and heated how helpful the manager is so we called in. They aren’t doing good at the moment due to no chef but until they get a new Chef they are happy for you to get a take away from any of the local takeaway/restaurants and eat in at no charge. The Guinness was perfect and everyone very friendly and helpful. The manager’s knowledge of all the attractions is great and he went out of his way to help us. If your holidaying here I can highly recommend a visit to the Queens Hotel for a drink in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere, to get your information in a friendly knowledgeable place whilst you enjoy a drink and takeaway or meal if the new chef fin in place.

There's something about national trust cafes. Overpriced service is always poor and the food is always substandard Paid £3.30 for a bottle of water. There was no filling station for us to refill ours.

Went there with wife after shopping for cup of coffee and something to eat..ordered 2 slices of fried bread (asked for thin or normal sized bread ,but was told only thick bread available..ii found that quite amazing for a supermarket ) wife had bowl of chips which were almost cold and looked anything but appetizing ....the fried bread was absolutely dripping(excuse the pun) with grease,so much so that picking a piece up left me with grease running down my wrist ..neither of us ate what we ordered to put it mildly it was just pigslop and thats being kind...dirty cups ,uncleared tables didnt help. if theres a worse cafe around i sincerely hope i dont find it.....-10 out of 10
