Please do not waste your time or money on this place. Food is appalling. £11.50 for a jacket potato with cheese which didn’t even fill half the plate. Staff were friendly but sadly that is where the positives end. Menu was very limited and quality very poor. Nice venue due for a drink with a view but food leaves a lot to be desired.

Had an absolutely appalling meal. Offered only two choices of food.... chilli or vegetarian pasta. All meals were indelible. The way the complaint was handled and the outcome was totally disgusting. The management were hostile, rude and unapologetic.

Attended the restaurant for dinner. Asked if food was still being served and ordered Chillie con carnie. Poorest plate of food I've ever been presented. It was a small portion costing 15 pounds. It didn't taste like chillie. The meat used was poor quality with hard inedible lumps in it. I couldn't eat it. Sean and partner were advised. Their reaction was very disappointing. Very defensive and unapologetic. Sean stated there was nothing wrong with the food. He did agree to refund half the money for the food. A very poor service with poor quality food I'm afraid.

I was aware Plas Heli bar and restaurant was under new management so thought we'd visit as we were passing after a long walk.Order a Guinness ,large glass of white and a portion of chips.A little taken aback at the cost £16.45 especially as the Guinness came in a can.The chips arrived quickly, however i say chips but any sign of potato had long gone .They were dry , oily and not very appetising.Mentioned briefly to the staff ,who were friendly and polite when they collected the remainder of the uneaten chips, that they were not very nice. I was dissatisfied with the food on offer finished our drinks, and left.Found cheaper drinks and proper chips and the local Spoons.

Do not visit unless you have a lot of time to spare. 5 cars took 20 minutes! Only 2 staff in the building.

Served two cold fried eggs which were awful, chips were ok but over cooked. Then proceeded to the shop counter to pay for 4 trays of violas and 2 door mats approx £34.00. A woman serving was extremely

Called at Starbucks Dolgellau on my way down to Aberystwyth. I had my dog with me. No sign on the door that dogs were not allowed inside. Had three members of staff shouting that dogs were not allowed
