We visited on a lovely sunny day in October and we managed to sit outside as the weather was a balmy 15! We had coffee, toasted tea cakes and sausage rolls, all quite reasonably priced. Bacon rolls £4.25, Sausage Rolls £3.25, toasted currant tea cake £2.95, coffees all around £2.95. They take cash or card unlike some of the other places in Abersoch that only take card payments.

Lovely staff and great food. Perfect location. Think some of the reviews are confused with the other beach cafes. We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch sat over looking the beach on a private balcony. Delicious ice cream for desert with a large choice of cones and topping. Happy kids, happy parents.

Beautiful location but robotic unfriendly staff. Very abrupt. If they learn some good old fashioned British hospitality it would be a great.

Nine family members bought food and drinks at this beach hut café on golf road, we sat on the beach while my cousin who is disabled sat on a chair on the deck, the manager came marching out three times telling him to get another drink or get out, she said "I don't do table service so if you cant get it yourself ask someone passing by to get it for you" at this point she didn't know if he was alone or with us, if he had been alone you can imagine how vulnerable he would of have felt, we had bought him 3 coffees and 2 rolls but this still wasn't enough for her, she made him feel like something she had scraped off her shoe, he asked us to take him home and said he would never go back, this was the only beach café he could get to on his scooter, we were devastated, this woman has no idea how much hurt she causes when she opens her mouth, my cousin is a war veteran who had recently had a stroke and is one of the kindest people on earth, we came to Abersoch to cheer him up for a few days, never again will we set foot in this café she totally ruined our holiday, shame on her for treating a disabled war veteran this way.

Perfectly adequate beach cafe, there was a long queue at the serving hatch as you come off the beach, I stepped inside and got served straight away. Only had hot & cold drinks, perfectly fine and very convenient.

We visited twice during our short stay in Abersoch and were very impressed with this cafe. It has a lovely terrace facing directly onto the beach, great for people watching and amazing sea views. We thought it was very much a hidden gem.

Popped in too buy a couple of chairs, I am exempt from face masks and there was nobody in the shop...lovely young girl was serving me, when the manager came out and snapped "mask" ...I was shocked but explained I was exempt. She then said "well if you are really exempt i can't ask you what can I? " couldn't believe her attitude and I have on another occasion speak to another customer in the same way. Its a shame because the young assistant was so embarrassed...I will not ever use this cafe again ..and hopefully the owners might want to give the manager so customer service training 😬

Like a child I dropped my ice cream and had to go back and buy another one. The owner extremely kindly refused to take my money for the replacement. Old school fantastic customer service. Also the ice cream was delicious when I finally got it in my mouth.

Good location overlooking the beach, an ok experience as cafes go. We popped in on a busy Saturday afternoon, the team were pleasant enough & no doubt serve thousands of holiday visitors.

This place is the most central and popular place for food and drink on the beach and fits that role well, albeit with some slip-ups. Their strongest points are the drinks, the ice-creams and the range of beach toys and tools available. The shop itself is full of everything your kids could ever want for the beach - balls, inflatable dinghies, buckets and spades, even full-on sand castle battlements which I would have killed for as a kid! The hot drinks are also great especially their hot chocolate with a myriad of toppings available. On the Ice-Cream front their range of both pre-packaged favourites and freshly scooped cones never disappoints. However, where they do fall down is in the service. It's usually rather slow especially during peak hours during the summer and communications between the areas is sloppy. Also they are cash-only which can be quite the inconvenience to those caught unaware. Their food doesn't exactly impress as well. They have your standard cold sandwiches but also sausage rolls and pasties which set do it apart from the competition on either side of the beach. In addition, their hot food is cooked on the barbecue outside which is a nice touch but its offerings didn't blow me away taste-wise. I went for the cheeseburger (price £5.25) which was alright but could do with some tweaks. It had cucumbers in it which was an unwelcome watery crunch and only detracts from the sandwich as a whole. It included fried onions which were well cooked but were cut into uneven concave shapes which slid out of the burger and didn't give a consistent flavour throughout. Swap the cucumbers for gherkins and slice the onions into rings or strips and their burgers would be vastly improved. Overall, the Abersoch Beach Cafe is perfectly reasonable eatery and is the most convenient option for almost the entire beach given its enviable location and with its indoor shop, drinks and ice creams it does well but slips up with its food options which are okay but not mind-blowingly amazing.

Popped in here on our way through to grab a breakfast butty as looked really nice and quirky and a fabulous spot for taking in the rays... thats about as good as it got! On asking for 2 sausage baps the girl serving shouts through 'Is such and such (couldnt make out the name) here?', to which another replied 'no'. Girl serving looks back and says 'sorry theres no hot food today'. Ok..... sorry but how hard is it to cook sausages?! Anyway, we were starving so my partner picked up a pork pie out the fridge and I asked for a scone with cream and jam. Girl serving puts a plate of a scone with jam and cream and a plastic spoon on the counter, 'we dont have any plastic knives left'. Note no 'sorry we dont...'. I then ask well how am i supposed to cut it in half then?! She whips it away and comes back with it sliced in half, not uttering a word, just a glakey look on her face. Bemused my partner and I wandered outside to sit on the decking to eat our odd breakfast and laugh about the appalling service. Christ is using manners such an effort?! Such a shame as in an amazing spot. PS. The scone was like a brick. Would've been for use as anchor on the boats out front...

We visited the cafe on a sunny May Saturday - the cafe is grubby and the demeanour of the staff is extremely poor - they should be retrained or avoid the hospitality industry. After spending £17 on drinks and ice creams, my 8 year old son asked for some tap water as he felt a little unwell - he was told by the staff that they “only serve people who pay for things....”. - they were not allowed to give “free tap water” as they “had to pay water rates and were losing money if they have water out free”. I can’t recall being more upset or disappointed at the attitude or service in my entire life. Abersoch Beach Cafe should be avoided - an utter disgrace that they won’t give water to an 8 year old that feels unwell.

The worst customer service ever!!! 2 very deliberately rude girls, that went out of their way to be rude and where possible completely ignore us. Over priced and very average food and drinks. However I didn’t ask to speak to their manager I will never know. We visited this café a few times over the weekend of the 14th – 16th July. Every time was the same service, avoid where possible.

After a walk along the beach we'd worked up a bit of an appetite, enter Abersoch Beach Cafe. The interior was pretty uninviting so we sat outside overlooking the beach, this was the best bit of our experience except for a pool of water on the table which the staff never attempted to dry. We had three toasted sandwiches and hot drinks all of which was ok at best. The worst part was the price, £24.00!! Value for money it definitely wasn't, will I go back? I think you know the answer to that!!

There is times of the day where there's no alternative for having a coffee in town. We went here twice during our visit of Caernarfon. I did not take a coffee at the second visit as I didn't like it. It is less clean inside and everything seems a little loveless. The sweet cakes etc. are great though. At least, the products are rather inexpensive.

We made the mistake of going back to this pub having visited several times over the years, it was completely dead and the bar lady had a serious attitude problem, when two other guests arrived the bar woman was now siting in the corner and i pointed her out simple saying the bar woman was over there - she completely turned on me obviously annoyed i’d called her a bar woman ( she clearly wasn’t a solicitor) which also resulted in her partner becoming extremely aggressive and was expecting a physical assault to be taking place, luckily i managed to de escalate the situation which if full of locals would’ve only been worse. The woman clearly has mental health problems and probably a drug user and shouldn’t be working in an environment selling alcohol.

We were looking for somewhere downtown harlech for a drink and food with our two boys, 9 and 14 years of age. We read the sign outside. Everyone welcome except for children. Dogs especially welcome. Adults only. A few of the local guys told me it's a swingers hotel where the dogs can get involved. Avoid. If you do want a good pint with holiday makers and locals all enjoying good food and drink and friendly conversation I would highly recommend walking an extra 200yds to the pub right next to the train station. Dogs, kids, humans all seem to be equally welcome
