The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in Wales

I stayed at this truck stop when I asked for a certain meal told non left then asked for three other meals told non left it was only 6.00 pm the place has gone to the DOGS every time I have gone there they never have certain meals and customer service is appalling run by kids who are not intrested. I have been going to this truck stop for ten years but I feel that the place has nothing to offer now and has gone down the pan,it could do with a good clean and sitting down and looking at the variety of food and quality as I feel that it has been run down and running on a shoe string. SHAME TO SAY THIS BUT IF YOU DONT EXPRESS YOUR VIEWS IT JUST CARRYS ON AND GETS WORSE OR EVENTUALLY CLOSES. I won’t be staying again it’s a shame but I feel that enough is enough plus on odd occasions I have had the runs the following day having eaten there.

After taking my son to the hospital we decided to grab an early dinner. The cafe was almost empty so we placed our order. After placing the order I realised they had missed a meal out and also charged the child's meal as individual items, overcharging me by £4.25. I queried it witn the till staff and was issued a refund. Upon arrival of the food, I noticed the seasoned fries were all un seasoned. We asked the waiter to add the seasoning and unfortunately someone in the kitchen made sure we got what we asked for. There was tablespoons of seasoning added to the fries making them salty and un edible. Not the service we would expect.

Unbelievable from ordering to the food. Didn't have any black pudding at 1130 am in the morning. Couldn't offer any alternative for this. But still expect you to pay full price! Even though they couldn't supply what they offer as a complete meal. Should be discounted or offer an alternative if its them who can't supply the food. Food took 35 minutes to arrive. Food was overcooked and undercooked. To say it was disappointment after such a long wait is putting it nicely. No wonder they offer free refills on coffee. It's something for you to do in the long wait for terrible food. Will not be returning for this poor experience.

Food is not well labelled for ingredients. Staff could not tell me if an item contained aggs or dairy. Cake had far too much margarine in it - not pleasant. Nice sofas. Spacious. Not crowded. Well lit. But the opening says are erratic. Only seems to open peak seasons - which is a shame as other places in town are often over full.

Racism in there if you are black don’t go there for your safety

Stopped in for some lunch whilst visiting the zoo. The food was nice, pretty standard topped fries and chicken strips. Nothing spectacular but also tasty. It was quite expensive for two portions of fries, two drinks and some chicken strips.

The Food is Generally good for the price !! BUT MORE STAFF NEEDED URGENTLY, SHORT STAFFED IS AN UNDER STATEMENT AND THE STAFF THAT ARE THERE ARE RUNNING AROUND LIKE MAD MEN EXTREMELY POOR MANAGEMENT IF THERE IS 1 ??? WAITED AN HOUR FOR 2 BREAKFASTS !! THE STAFF THAT ARE THERE ARE VERY CHEERY CONSIDERING THE PRESSURE THEY ARE UNDER !!

we ordered omelette from menu when food arrived they had written on box we don't do omelette exactly the same with black pudding which we paid extra for, they gave substitute products also ordered a lemon cake got 2 muffins instead.

If you looking for a good time and a cold beer with good friendly people this is your home. Great live music and outdoor play area for the kids.

with some furnishings intact like the boxes, frieze above the stage etc. definitely worth a visit and for its reassuringly standard menu. The local beer Rhymney was excellent! So were the chicken wings!

Penny pinching wouldn't give meals if forgot to fill menu refused our coach driver a breakfast the morning we were going home because he was I'll the night before went to owner nasty horrible man didnt want to know the meals were paid for got know stopping was allowed only for milk count have extra never again never were great hotel was clean
