None of the free tables were clean and when we asked for a table to be cleaned we were given a cloth and the spray bottle of cleaner. Don’t come here if you want a clean environment

We came here for ice cream. It took them more than 30 minutes to bring the ice cream, and we had to remind them. They seemed surprised as if they forgot about our order. They said they were busy, but the restaurant was mostly empty. Ice creams came, in a tiny bowl - with a very tiny scoop. Absolutely not worth the price. The waiter also did not say a word. He just came and placed the bowls down, didn't even acknowledge us. He didn't even bring any spoons for the ice cream. We had to go back and get our own. We're not asking for much, these are all basic things that should've been delivered. Disappointing.

It was great me and my family enjoyed the food and it left us full and the service was impeccable I would definitely recommend it for a place family’s from tiny tots and the elderly to go to and I would definitely go again!

Lovely Breakfast and for a park restaurant not too expensive but be warned that the "American Breakfast" all though it says it comes with pancakes only comes with one single pancake and as a result the "Mega" American Breakfast which states it comes with double only comes with two. This is very confusing wording and when I questioned this with the staff they even said it's not best worded but then walked off leaving me to order another portion of pancakes separately. Not the best customer service here TBH after acknowledging that it was confusingly/deceptively worded. £7.99 extra for another portion hurt.

Very slow service from waiting staff. Cafe was mostly empty and still took three staff a total of 18 minutes to sort out 5 glasses of water. Food was out promptly and was nice (though poor value for money) Won’t be visiting again which is a shame as much better on previous visits.

Lovely clean restaurant/cafe bar. Lovely food reasonably priced. My grandkids gave it 5 stars. Super fast service. Staff were super helpful and polite, especially the young man (didn’t get his name but worked most lunchtimes). Well done excellent service

we had to wait one and a half hours after ordering for the food to arrive and it's more expensive than most cafe grill house restaurant's. no complaints on the food but nothing special. should of been told before ordering of the wait

A warm welcome. Very clean cafe. Food excellent. Cod superb. Husband was very pleased. I had pancakes , Nutella and strawberries. The pancakes were made fresh. Perfection. Accessible toilet.

I had to register an account just to register my dissatisfaction with this pathetic excuse for a restaurant. We came here on an overcast Friday morning hoping for a breakfast that would cure the nights hangover. After being enticed by the “2 mega breakfasts for £14” offer, we decided this was the place to go. We arrived at half 10 as a party of Seven and when we sat down realised the quickest way to order was using the app, unfortunately Pendine offers no mobile phone service so first a degree in engineering and computer science was required to log into the wifi with its generous 2/mbps download speed. After logging onto the wifi it was finally time to order breakfast, but alas the Parkdean App needs an account registered to be able to use it. Upon discovering this, 3 of my party decided it would be faster and easier to order at the counter, how wrong they were. After standing at the counter for a good 10 minutes being ignored by staff, they decided to order using the app after all. All our breakfast orders were placed by 10:45, and we thought the near empty cafe would be able to serve us fast. This was unfortunately a foolish thought. We sat and waited, and waited, and waited some more. Quickly we realised that the other 3 families in the cafe who had been here when we arrived had also not received any food and we made a deadly conclusion, nobody had eaten anything yet. Finally, some food emerged from the kitchen, only to be taken to another table. I dread to think how long they had waited. Now I will admit, we did sit and loudly complain about the wait for the food, but the serving staff could have offered some form of information about the staggering waiting time. I do work in hospitality, and I understand that the kitchen has problems from time to time, but the most professional thing to do would be to warn people of this before hand. Finally the food arrived and we fell upon it, so fast that I could not take a picture because I had been starved. It arrived on a plate roughly the size of a steering wheel, spread out nicely to disguise the lack of food we had actually been given. Now I will admit, the food wasn’t bad for the price but the wait completely ruined it. The food wasn’t staggeringly warm, the pancakes were similar to cardboard, but the fried food was nice. For a hungover breakfast I would have to rate highly. I must say though, the young man who served us held his cool in the face of angry, hungry customers, and for that he deserves a commendation. I would recommend to avoid this cafe if you have somewhere to be, the staff were generally rude and the order was plagued by loud screaming children, but if you’re deaf and have the patience of a saint, this is the cafe for you.

We went out of peak time and, so it wasn't as busy as peak, but there were other families in there. We ordered three breakfasts, and both came out quickly and were still hot, despite a bit of a wait for them. The orange juices were a bit expensive in comparison to what we got. The pancakes weren't swimming in maple syrup which was nice and the bacon was crispy. The waitresses were polite, but there were only two on the bar to serve. All in all it was a perfectly good level of service

Went in for coffe and churros. After orderingsat down and after 5 mins was informed that the coffe machine was broken and issued a refund for those which was fine. Was sat of 30 minutes waiting for churos when i realized no one was doing anything and went up and asked. They had not even started them as they had not put the order up. It was not a busy day, and if someone had asked how we were it would have been solved sooner.

Extremely expensive drinks. We had a very small portion of very expensive chips. Would not go there again!

Ordered an assortment of large and small drinks. All large drinks came in small glasses and the only 2 small drinks were in large glasses. Ordered 2 adult roast dinners at £14 which is already expensive, when they came out there was hardly any veg on the plate. The portion was so incredibly small and on top of this, a child’s roast dinner came out which was nearly double the size for half the price! Incredibly inconsistent and overall terrible quality. Staff looked bored and miserable. Service and food was awful. Will never ever go back.

We have eaten here 3 times during our stay and never had a bad meal! The steak is amazing and was cooked to perfection the childrens meal has a pick n mix option which my daughter thought was amazing always friendly team too they even to take away coffee in the mornings for your trip to the beach!

Don’t know why this diner gets bad reviews?? We have always had a decent meal, scampi, fish, curry, chicken etc. We don’t expect Michelin stars!! But all meals are well cooked and a reasonable price. Also can’t fault the waiting staff.

What an absolute shambles, went to order food, didn't have what we wanted and to top it all I was told by a young girl serving me at the counter that she couldn't understand me not once but four times when I asked for three ploughman's lunch sandwiches, one fish and chips, three Pepsi max and a large latte,I asked if I'm speaking in a different kind of Welsh accent? I was told yes, I said give me your number and I'll text you the order to the reply of that's fine I can't read or write either, I just grunted swiped my card and walked off. They need to work on customer service, if I hadn't had family with me, I would have told her where to go, I will never go there again.

Absolutely scandalous the price of ice cream in this place. Every week we used to go here last year but now we will never go again. £4.79 for apparently 2 scoops of ice cream, we would have had corners not tiny tubs but they didn't have comes. Picture below to show what they call 2 scoops. Disgusting, avoid unless you want to remortgage to pay!

We ate here a few times this week and everyone enjoyed their various dishes, everytime. The food was good here and was reasonably priced, considering the cost of drinks throughout the park resort. The staff were friendly and the service was good, plus the food didn't take too long to come out. The only downside was, that a few of the things we asked for from the menu, they didn't actually have it, but there were plenty of alternatives to choose from.

We had a long walk along Pencine Sands and area and stopped at Beach Racer for a coffee and ice cream. The staff were very jolly, humorous and friendly. The coffee was great, also the ice creams! Very pleasant place, very clean. Nice toilets, too!

we had evening meal it was average prices were reasonable but some a little on higher side for some things on menu it served drinks and deserts and coffee staff were pleasant and helpful
