Wonderful experience. Food a delight at an extremely reasonable price and owners give a warm welcome. The only down side is that it's not nearer to us. Half a chance and we will return.

We have a holiday home locally, and every visit, we pop into the Three Horseshoes and always have a warm welcome. It is dog friendly, so we were able to take our four month old spaniel and sat by the log fire. After a couple of Golden Biscuit Ales, I had a comforting steak and ale pie but there are a wide range of homemade dishes including Welsh Cawl and Faggots as well as steaks and good vegetarian options too. Good, honest Welsh food in a comforting atmosphere. Watch your head on the way in if you're 6ft. You might knock yourself out.

Had the serrano ham with mushrooms ,tomatoes and eggs from breakfast / brunch menu . Delicious and generous portion. Wish I'd taken a photo to show how good it looked

What a wonderful find, a little family run restaurant. We ordered two large pizzas and had ice cream for desert which was all fairly priced. Everything is home made, cooked and served by the hosts, what a great team! We were made to feel very welcome during our visit. Well behaved dogs are allowed at the venue, we had ours and she just relaxed under the large table. There are some board and card games for you to play whilst you wait for your food. A nice atmosphere, would go again and highly recommend. They also do take away orders. There are other things to do onsite, as we arrived early we took an hours walk around the woodland.

Amazing. Every single time!! A new menu every visit and the cakes are absolutely delicious too. The flavour that gets packed into particularly the veggies is out of this world!

Called in and ordered 2 coffees and two slices of toast and the young lad was going to charge me £10.40. I walked out in disgust, thought I would give it another try after having a very poor breakfast with raw sausages. Never will I go back.

Went for dinner with family - the steaks were delicious and perfectly cooked. From the outside the pub looks a bit innocuous but great chef and lovely friendly staff.

The food that I had here was exceptional. I had the gourmet pizza which was very tasty and the dough balls and meat board we had to start was so tasty I could have carried on eating them all day. The staff were really friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. Will definitely be returning

Amazing place - great food and drinks. My wife and I called in and had wonderful service with a lovely smile from Meg. We didn't have a dog with us but it was like being in a family home with the dogs all feeling really at home. There were others without dogs too and the dogs were so friendly that they were able to enjoy them. If you love dogs, do go whether yours is with you or not . However we stopped by for a warm drink and a cake and it did not disappoint. Delicious cake and cookie selection to go with beautiful warm drinks which were as warm as the welcome Meg gave us. Thank you Meg and Baileys. This place is a must visit in Carmarthen!!

Lovely setting and decor. Friendly and accommodating staff. All the family, 6 adults and 3 kids, had Sunday roast dinner and pudding. Food very tasty and plenty of it especially the gravy. Will have no hesitation in returning to Caffi Traeth. Excellent.

I do not cook at all when The Penny Black is open ! I feel really sorry for cafes and restaurants like this ! It's not their fault that they are unable to open up at the moment still ! The Post office is an integral part of the Burry Port community and as such will have struggled to retain their loyal clientele! Not everyone is,driven by price but as I intend to eat there 3 or 4 times a week , still, I'm very grateful that the prices are priced really realistically , as I'm single and only on my works pension, still ! Stumbled across this little cafe accidently but very glad we did. Calm atmosphere, extremely lovely staff and amazing coffee. We had a quick stop with 3 homemade cakes all yummy and had a friendly chat with the staff.

That was the most amazing breakfast this morning....didn't eat another thing until 7pm this evening! Thank you so much...the beans were sensational! Can't rate this place highly enough! So sorry I live so far away and can't visit all the time!
