Out and about in the pouring rain whilst on holiday and googled somewhere for a coffee and this was close by and well reviewed. So glad we stopped what a lovely find. Owner so friendly and helpful as were the other customers we met. A mocha, latte and a bacon bap were all spot on and very reasonably priced too. Can’t recommend it enough

I haven't been to ferry side for a while and was more than pleasantly surprised to stumble across this excellent Cafe when taking my grandson to the football pitch nearby. Excellent service and a very warm atmosphere. I would definitely recommend to my family and friend. Lolling for to visiting again soon.

This was our third visit we’ve called in for coffee, afternoon tea and last week lunch we can’t fault anything we’ve tried and look forward to calling by again soon, lots of things to chose from on a menu that changes regularly and the lady who runs it is also brilliant.

This is a cosy and quaint café situated in a very idyllic spot of Carmarthenshire. I was pleasantly surprised at how substantial the portions were, and the kitchen staff had clearly gone to a lot of effort to craft their dishes. The proprietor was also exceedingly helpful when my bike lock got jammed and I couldn't extricate my bike from the railings. I'd highly recommend this place.

This is a great new cafe in Ferryside . I had afternoon there today and it was lovely. Everything was homemade and the service was excellent. I will be returning to try out their lunch menu. Plus the bonus of plenty of parking available. I would definitely recommend this place.

Coffee and Friends has just opened in Ferryside. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with a really nice selection of food at great prices. It's welcoming to dogs (there's a treat jar on the counter!) and is right next door to the park, so perfect for coffee and cake or lunch around a ball chasing session! It is a short walk to the beach and train station, and there's plenty of parking. I will definitely be visiting again 😀

Fantastic welcome from the owner Ashley, very bubbly and friendly lady. The seating area was quite full, I did have a nice seat by the window and spoke with some of the very friendly locals. Dogs are allowed, with biscuits and water available. The wheelchair access is very good, I was served very quickly, I had a bacon roll and a Latte. The cakes on display looked wonderful, I chose one of them too! and the cost was very reasonable. I will definitely call again.

I do not cook at all when The Penny Black is open ! I feel really sorry for cafes and restaurants like this ! It's not their fault that they are unable to open up at the moment still ! The Post office is an integral part of the Burry Port community and as such will have struggled to retain their loyal clientele! Not everyone is,driven by price but as I intend to eat there 3 or 4 times a week , still, I'm very grateful that the prices are priced really realistically , as I'm single and only on my works pension, still ! Lol x Thanks for all the care the staff gave given me since moving to Burry Port/ Pembrey. South Wales. Th

A very comfortable room, with friendly and helpful hosts. A choice of breakfasts either cooked or continental. We had the continental which had a large warm croissant and a lovely selection of fruit, together with homemade yogurt which was delicious. Everything you would want in a B&B

Plenty of parking, I liked the layout which didn’t put you too close to other diners and not cramped, amazing views and good ambiance, the service was spot on and the food was of a very good standard, plentiful and all arrived hot and beautiful presented. My first time visiting here, definitely won’t be the last and I highly recommend it to anyone.

We (family of 3) visited on 4 July (see facebook) and could not believe our eyes when we walked into The Clock Tower on Market Way in Carmarthen. This place was a paradise for hungry vegans serving pizza, pasties, cakes, cupcakes, biscuits, chocolates etc. The variety and choice was quite overwhelming. You have to visit Absolute Treats to get an idea of how much different types of food there are here. There are a wide range of flavours to suit all palates, so get on down there. Well worth a visit and check out their website. :)
