The food that I had here was exceptional. I had the gourmet pizza which was very tasty and the dough balls and meat board we had to start was so tasty I could have carried on eating them all day. The staff were really friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. Will definitely be returning

My second visit here and the food, atmosphere and friendliness were phenomenal (again). I had the chef’s recommendation of pear and honey bruschetta, belly pork with roast potatoes and panacotte. Exquisite on all levels. I was left feeling full on local, quality produce cooked by a chef who is extremely passionate with her Italian love of food. I can’t recommend the Pheonix enough.

We had a bottomless brunch and it was the best I have ever been in. 2 girls had the classic breakfast, one vegetarian, and she is still praising the quality of the veggie sausages. Everything is homemade or from Italy, and we were not disappointed at all. I had the Autogrill panino, again super fresh ingredient and freshly made bread, a dream! The fourth of us had the Pasta with king prawns, loved it. Cocktails are also amazing! We tried the Campari Spritz but it is a little too bitter for us, so we diverted on Aperol Sprits, Cosmopolitan, and Espresso Martini. What a Saturday Afternoon, thank you very much! Kelly x

Finally a decent place in Burry Port where to take my partner for a meal. We went for breakfast in the summer, which was outstanding, and last night we went for dinner. It was busy, but the atmosphere was brilliant, and the little wait for food was balanced with a shot of limoncello at the end, really nice caring people who run the restaurant deserve a shout out. We celebrated my mother's 70th birthday, we went for a set menu as we were 15 people. Food was out of this world, tasty and unique, I never had a bruschetta with prosciutto and figs before, also pasta Amatriciana, very flavoursome. This place is surprisingly always right, everything they do is great! I have been there a few times but never for breakfast. We were a group of friends catching up after some time and we had a great time in this lively little place, food is superb. The Classic Breakfast is huge, and so tasty. Also my friend is gluten free and as the ingredients are finest Italian quality, sausage is pure pork meat. Happy Days, we were all impressed. We will be back soon.
