DeeDee's Cafe in Newport

Great for a little stop during shopping. Staff was polite and friendly, informative about the iced drinks and syrups. My friend really enjoyed his iced Americano and my little one enjoyed his snacks. Place was clean and tidy. Please consider more gluten free food/snack options. Even if pre packaged and bought in.

I and my Mum have literally just walked out of this cafe due to awful customer service. An iced americano was ordered and an extremely watered down single shot of coffee was given with half melted ice. It tasted disgusting. I respectfully brought this matter to the attention of the staff and asked if a new drink could be made and if it could just be two shots of coffee over ice. The lady who had made the drink appeared reluctant to help and the only solution which was "offered" was another shot of coffee in an already overly diluted drink. This did not fix the drink, and I didn't see the point in mentioning it to the staff a second time for anothing non-resolution. This used to be a nice cafe. I shan't be using it again.

Called in for lunch, had a jacket spud with cheese, wanted beans or coleslaw, neither available. Poor vegetarian options for lunch.

While shopping at the range stop off here for a coffee. Staff are always friendly and good selection of cakes etc
