It's quite a while since we went to Morrisons for a meal. What a disappointment. We ordered our food at the entrance and then went to obtain our drinks. The coffee machine was not working. I asked a member of staff. Her comment was I'm on my own you'll have to wait. About 10 min later we had our coffee. Then my food came it was just warm and missing 2 sausage. I complained and they were brought out just when my meal was finished. I asked if they were short of staff she said yes and they won't allow overtime. I asked if there was any jobs for my granddaughter? No they won't take anyone on they are happy to have one staff member on at a time. We and several other customers were disgusted at the service and atmosphere in what used to be a good cafe. No more custom from us

Very clean and tidy. Lots of different items for sale. I like the fact that you can still purchase freshly cooked chickens here unlike those other stores that don't anymore

I love shopping at Morrisons and buy all my food there. I worked at the Rogerstone store for 15 years (before taking early retirement) and the staff there are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. We moved to Caerphilly 5 years ago so now shop in the Morrisons Caerphilly store.

5.30 on a Friday evening, and one poor lad run ragged, shame on you Morrisons every till had a red light waiting for authorisation. I hope you saw the news today about Asda realising their stores understaffed and staffing more tills. Know whete I'll be going in future.

I'm a local as I live the estate but whenever ever I come on the staff are lovely the food Is great highly recommend

Why have you stopped locking the gate to the car park... again? 15 to 20 cars in the car park again, racing around disturbing the community! Racing up and down the bypass! It's nearly every evening and you do nothing about it!

Popped into the cafe on the way to visit relatives. It was a Saturday and understandably busy, however we were waiting at the til for 20 minutes, when the food arrived it was swimming in oil and in fairness to the staff it seemed that they were under resourced and unable to keep up so were cutting corners. Won't eat here again.

You can find all you need. But it is expensive

On 5th June, after a very stressful day, I called into Morrisons to pick up a few things. I live approximately 15 minutes away from the store. On arriving home, I discovered I had left my handbag on the trolley hook. I headed straight back to the store but was convinced it would be gone. Customer services were wonderful and after checking it was mine, the lady explained it was the Security Guard who found it. I can't thank him enough! You have wonderful staff Morrisons!! is

Staff here are lovely but theyve changed their policy of not having staff start early so when you go at about 9am there are pallets and cages all over the,store blocking aisles and products. Not good Morrisons.

Decent sized morrisons. Dog food was hard to find. Kiwis were like hand grenades they were so hard but overall a great store.

What a Dreadfully run store this has become!! Huge queues yet they were shutting check outs! self serve took no cash even tho the sign said it did! So had to put everything back in the trolley. Paid for a trolley load of stuff at the customer service desk in the end where the lady who served me was so helpful and patient . Absolute chaos shopping and working environment where some staff are as patient and helpful as they can be. Others are rude! Management need a shake!!!! And To top it off the roof was leaking with buckets catching the water. Awful supermarket! Safe to say I won’t be returning and will use Tesco up the road from now on

It's keeping a 5 star due to it being one of the only big supermarkets with an in store butcher and fishmonger. A tad more expensive than other supermarkets but still shop there aa use the butchers who cant do enough for you.

What has happened to this store? Every time I go in shopping, there is only ever one checkout on maybe two at best. The staff on checkouts are constantly trying their best with the massive queues that go all the way up the clothes aisle. The staff on checkouts always call management for help to try and resolve these queues yet they do not seem to arrive. It is by far the most unorganised department in the store. I do hope that things will change very quickly otherwise I feel regular customers will go elsewhere.

Went there not busy ,got everything I needed, went to queue and a lovely lady opened a till very friendly.

Very clean and friendly store, staff very attentive and helpful. The only real gripe is why slice the fresh bread on an evening I get that maybe someone will want it sliced but to slice all means a wasted journey especially when only going out to the store for the Salt and Pepper loaf, to then get told it nearly all gets thrown out ( Sliced)?

We had 'afternoon tea' today. Initial presentation not as expected. No choice of sandwich fillers. The ham was smoked ( dislike) Also prawns not to my taste. The cakes were all delicious and fresh. A lovely cup of tea. Egg sandwich fresh and tasty. I suggest checking the selection prior to purchasing.

Visited today and the food was absolutely disgusting!! I ordered a jacket potatoe with cheese and beans and the jacket potatoe wasn't even cooked I asked them to cook it longer so they did but then it came back out with my beans on the side freezing cold. My boyfriends chips where chips warmed back up. Never again. Foul

Always go to morrisons for their fish and seafood, but this one also has their Free From section all in one, so freezer, fridge and cupboard all in one place

Appalling. (I would give zero stars if I could) Racial profiling. Right from when I entered the store, four members of staff followed me around. Deciding that I didn't like this oppressive behaviour, I went to leave the store leaving the things I intended to buy. Aggressive duty manager confronted me, told me he was banning me but refused to say why. I complained to Head Office and was told that it is banning me from ALL Morrisons stores. Using GDPR legislation, I obtained CCTV recordings and staff statements Staff statements contained false allegations, which Morrisons own CCTV footage proved were false. When I told Head Office to check their own CCTV recordings, the ban was withdrawn. Head Office acknowledged that I had done nothing wrong but said that the staff had behaved entirely correctly, even though I proved that they had lied.

Called in for a breakfast......about a 20 minute wait. Waitress was obnoxious to a bloke with his toddler in front of me. She was then offish when taking my order. Breakfast came and black pudding was burnt to charcoal. Getting fed up now as Ebbw Vale is just as bad. Sort your restaurants out and your staff. Here again 22/12/2023 tables are stinking. Not enough staff. Put more people on. It will reduce the dole queue

Great price on petrol with a voucher for 5p a litre off.

Every single time I come here it gets worse and I don’t even know how. The staff don’t seem the brightest, the woman on the till is quite rude. Someone asked her if the coffee machine was working and she ignored her so me who was stood waiting for 10 mins for her to finish on the till in the first place so she could bring some milk pots out, had to reply to this customer of there’s and I don’t even work there. She then dropped the milk pots all over the floor. She doesn’t have a clue what to do on the till or what any of their products are, as she touches and picks everything on the tray up to look for it on the till. The other staff who were on break waiting for the food didn’t even get the correct amount of stuff and walked off looking fed up. There is much more to say but in conclusion I think they need to be educated on manners and their cafe products because it’s a joke.

Popped in for our evening meal, my parents had the cheeseburger and chips, and i had the Ultimate Fish And Chips with 2 pots of gravy, My mum had a cup of tea, i had a Fanta, and my dad had a Diet Coke, when we went to order, we were greeted by wet treys, nobody serving, and just dirty, my dad had to pop his head into the kitchen to ask if anyone was serving, a lady came out and took our orders, i got a sprite at first and the lady said i should get another drink because the gas had gone as usual, i got a Fanta and went to sort the tea, the hot water machine as always was grimy and really clunky and noisy, sat down at a table, and the whole décor is so basic and has cold and hard vibes to it, my Fanta was horrible, it had dust floating in it!, very very miserable staff, clearly didn't want to be there, when a woman sat down, a server told her to move because that side of the café was closed and i don't know why!, they used some of the hard wooden chairs to close it off, when food arrived it did not look nice, my parents cheese on their burgers, witch they were charged £1 each for! looked awful, the meat looked greasy and awful, the chips were clearly McCain microwave chips, my 2 pieces of fish were stuck together and was very bland, didn't even want to drink my tea i was so put off, my dads sticky toffee pudding with custard was a microwave dry pudding with skin on custard, yuck!, even in the whole store the staff were rude, the whole store stunk of chicken and the mobility scooter was dusty, 4/10 experience, its unlikely that we will return again

Very hot and miss. Products not priced properly, some staff very unhelpful and just not interested in customers at all. Weekends are worse. Couldn't get to some shelves because staff and trolleys of rubbish were blocking the way.

I shop regularly at Morrisons. Today I was disappointed to see that there were no loose bananas or oranges. Displays look tidy with everything neatly packaged in groups of four but, as a pensioner I don't want to buy so many...so I did without.

Best pies on the planet. Their fish counter is more impressive than most and they do a pretty nice breakfast in the cafe too.

Great service from Julian on the butchery counter. Wanted some fillet steak for my wife's birthday dinner.super helpfull and even offered some tips on how best to cook them. Top man.

Staff always provide a good service products can be a bit expensive

Still good value (although not Lidl or Aldi) especially meat, fruit and vegetables. Lots of pallets and stillages in the aisles as they restock.

I shop at Morrisons a lot and the only problem I have is that there is hardly ever anyone serving on the counters. This morning I waited 5 minutes with no one there, called out and got a stupid reply that they were shut and I could hear all the staff laughing. It seems to me that they would rather talk among themselves than serve customers, so I walked away. I will not be shopping at this store again

Not too busy for a Saturday but where are all the smaller trolleys had to search the car park for one

Massively under-staffed and a poor range of stock. 5pm on a Thursday and empty fresh shelves including no loose red onions, no mint in the fresh herb section and many other gaps. Fish counter is hit & miss - nothing normal or decent on my last visit but randomly, fresh anchovies 🤔

Went to the cafe had to find someone to serve me, found a very miserable lady to serve me. When my sausage sandwich came the bread was rock hard stale.☹️

Myself and my husband had a Sunday roast it was lovely.plenty on our plates.then we done some shopping the lady on the till she was lovely also she packed my shopping.many thanks Morrisons.

Cafe is awful, ta les not cleared, dirty and sticky, have to shout for someone to serve you, hot chocolate machine not working, cups dirty so I used a takeaway cup, never again!

Nice Morrisons to shop in lovely and quiet but sometimes stock levels are rubbish but other than that a relaxed shopping experience

Visited cafe,was told they couldn't do poached eggs on toast but were able to fry or scramble them??!! Have the " so called cooks ' not been taught how to poach an egg ?? Staff thought it was normal not to poach an egg and were didn't seem to care. Tables were grubby as was cafe on whole. I ended up just having a sandwich -- dried up and not nice. I'll be using Tesco cafés from now on as they seem to have their act together ✓

Everytime we are down in the area, we pop into Morrisons.. nice local shop for my family.

I won't shop in Morrisons Rogerstone. I've had too many experiences of rude staff - both in the supermarket and the petrol station.

Not having been to this store for number of years I was sad to see that in some of its aspects have declined ie restaurant food prep and condiments or lacking of as was the drink machine I witnessed a customer get soiled by machine when said customer tried to explain to staff they basically said yes yes it’s broken but nothing was done left customer wet and no signs were there to warn others

The Risca store far outshines Newport. Very happy to bypass Newport in favour of Risca.

Approached customer service as I was over charged on alcohol free beer. The lady was extremely rude, and pointed to a sign, saying no refunds on alcohol. I explained that I just wanted to pay the price advertised, and there was NO alcohol. She refused, so had to call a manager to resolve issue. Always pricing issues in Morrisons, constantly overcharged, especially on reduced items. The coupons, if you ever get any, never work. Just a complete joke. The only good thing is the donuts , which are delicious, other than that... Don't Bother! PS. Petrol is generally more expensive than other places to.

Store has about 30 tills of which there were only 3 open. No wonder I hate shopping.... Update to March 2023. Went to the cafe for a meal on Friday 10th. Dreadful service. Really really slow. Waited 40 mins for our meal when hardly anyone here. They would never cope if busy. Only 12 tables in use with 2 people per table but not all ordering.

Morrisons is a clean and sell a lot of stuff very good parking with fuel at good price.

Not been to morrisons for a while but find they are gone very expensive compared to the other supermarkets we use.

Be careful when ordering on self serve. Apparently pushed take away on accident sat around for 30 mins wondering where our food was. Avoid the self service go straight to till.

Love Morrisons they have a great deli counter .There nutmeg clothing is very good also .Especially there fresh bread and sausage rolls and pies and pasties really nice store but its gone a bit expensive as with most supermarkets now but i do love morrison .

The staff are good and got loads to choose from and ♿ access is very and disable park is right by the store

Service very slow they are never rushed off they feet at 8.30 to 9.00 but staff keep you hanging around before serving you,customers come first not staff just talking in kitchen as this is a regular norm at this store

The staff here at this specific branch are gold standard friendly! All of them! Just chatty and friendly at the self service checkouts, really helpful and a proper laugh. I love good ol Mozzers... the fresh food is top notch. But its SO EXPENSIVE! Compared to other supermarkets it's really noticeable.

You have to look cor bargains i bought a big bag of chips 99p mince was about £3.00 not a large amount either milk was around £2.50 bit you need to look for bargains own brand but plenty parking caah points public toilets but worth a look for sure

Made special visit for breakfast as last time we visited could not fault (3)yrs. Today it was worst thing I've ever paid for. Over cooked sausage and bacon. Sore ally pai £5 for beans egg n toast....never again

Called in for a breakfast It was a mixed bag tbh nice freshly cooked hash browns fried bread sausages and beans with cold black pudding overcooked bacon poached egg and mushrooms were inedible Why can't it all be fresh not exactly busy Won't waste almost £16 on 2 breakfasts here again
