Well well well where do I start with this visited 'pop eyes' today expecting to have a lovely lunch considering on a busy high street but by god how wrong was I, I ordered lentil soup but there certainly wasn't a lentil in the soup and certainly no ham used to make the soup, partner got a baked potato but dread to think how long her filing had been lying in the tub for considering the owner didn't think she had any made up. The cafe itself looks very cluttered with alot of personal belongings and the cakes in the cabinet certainly were not fresh, god knows the past time they decided to give the place a good clean and dust.

I get treated as if I am an annoyance by the staff and should not waste their time coming in to the shop. I was owed £30 this morning which they did not have in the till at the kiosk. I was asked to come back in the afternoon...really...Waitrose! I stood my ground and said I would not be coming back, so eventually a member of staff went and got the money from the finance office after making me feel bad and embarrassed.

I would only go here to see a play as it is a fairly run of the mill bar and cafe but its very friendly and staff are great. Nice surroundings. It was better before the pandemic

Slow to clear tables. An automatic close n the outside door would improve this cafe considerably. Otherwise a decent buzz.

This has to be the worst wetherspoons we have ever visited. There was only one staff member serving at the bar and one serving tables, our food took over 20 mins to arrive to our table which is actually against what wetherspoons promise, all meals should be served within 10 mins! The tables were sticky and smelly. The food was freezing cold, and staff weren't the most pleasant. they couldn't even smile. I would avoid this place at all costs!

We came here for breakfast as we had an early flight and we were delighted with the service and with what we choose The granola, pastry and coffee was really good..

Absolutely terrible service. Don't bother trying to order food as no one will take your order. They have a preference for lorry drivers, so if you're not wearing a high vis expect them to completely ignore you. Also, expect a menu from the 1990's.

We had an awesome time here! Came back twice for our three night stay in Edinburgh. Great vibe en crew. Love the fact there is music every night!

We visited for coffee and cake recently - both good though you have to like strong coffee. Staff friendly and helpful and the place was very busy. Only reason this isn't given a higher score is because of the toilets - basically, they are quite disgusting and badly in need of being ripped out and replaced. I have been reporting this for a number of years now but obviously, Marks and Spencer take no heed!

One of the most rundown cafes I have seen . Very much in need of a deep clean and refurbished . Saw little evidence of any tables being wiped . The toasties were ok but after visiting the WC I shudder to think what the kitchen may be like . I would not recommend this place and would not return .

A lovely wee cafe at the end of Linlithgow high street that doesn’t have many cafes. Handy for a wee catchup with family and friends. Clean and bright, seating is comfy. The home baking and sandwiches are excellent, scones are amazing. Tea and coffee are freshly made and hot. Staff are lovely and welcoming.

The Marine Bar is a straightforward pub, but with a rather stylish decor - and they even have cocktails on tap! We stuck to straightforward Tennent’s which was on good form, and enjoyed a pleasant evening with sport on the telly and good service. Nice pub.
