Costa in Inverclyde

Staff at the weekends couldn't be nicer, always so friendly and helpful. Seating areas is always kept so clean as well.

Said it was open till 9pm. I went round at 8pm.wanting a coffee and a sit whilst I waited for my daughter at Scouts. Door locked. Staff cleaning. They must have seen me, but no one came and spoke to me as I tired the door. No.l signage about not being able to.sit in after a certain time either. Companies, it's not hard to be clear with your derive offer.

After waiting while everyone else was served there drinks in the queue behind me , I enquired to while I was still waiting .. I was told oh yes it’s being done next No apologies I then had one drink out of three I told the girl I was awaiting another two which ended up with her being extremely rude and then moaning to her collages about me This is the not the first time I have had problems in this branch Will not visit again

Service was slow due to there only being one member of staff on duty most of the time. Otherwise the food ad the coffee were decent. Seats were available and it is quite comfortable.

Not sure if was the staff making or a change in recipe but drinks are poor, would’ve went to hand them back but was too far by the time I tasted it. Better off searching out a Tim Hortons, far better.

Went to Costa, port glasgow last night 17/11/21 at 18.00 and it was closed, yet on website states its open until 21.00hrs, disappointed

The guy that served me just now is a disgrace. Put card machine out and that was it never said one word too me or even biddy listened to interested talking about life being gay(seriously) literally never said one word to me despite me asking for extra sugar etc. All the other woman staff I'm served here by every day are usually great but this young man needs a kick up the behind and a lesson on customer service. If I'm served by him tomorrow I will be saying something .part of your experience is the customer service and he definitely would not be employed by me.

drive thru staff have a bad attitude, ordered on the app and went to collect at drive thru window and was informed very cheekily that I was in the wrong place and had to go in store , what is the point of having an app when you cannot collect quickly.

I went to Costa with my sister and brother for a coffee as soon as we walked in one of the staff told my brother and sister to pull our masks over our nose and myself to wear a face covering i cannot wear a mask very unfriendly bordering on contempt the other member of staff took our order and asked me to scan track and trace in which I had a problem with so she done it on her laptop. I simply asked how long they keep that information for and she said " Its the law" with a an attitude then said 3 weeks I will not be back in there again.

I’m absolutely disgusted at the attitude and rudeness of some of the staff in this Costa. I went tonight with my two young children to meet a friend with her young daughter, we went in to the shop and pot luck, there was a free table. We sat down and my friend went to get a chair for one of the kids and the girl in the shop took the chair off her and said they only had tables of 4, my friend asked what she suggested we do and she shrugged and said you’ll need to leave. We told her that children weren’t included in the rule of 6 and could we not put one of the kids on our knee or could we not move a table for two over and she said no. We were dumbfounded. It was 6pm and all other coffee shops had closed, we stood outside and complained to each other in disbelief and had to go back home. I’m so disappointed in Costa and will never ever set foot in this coffee shop again as the handful of times I’ve been in recently to this particular shop the staff are very unfriendly, it used to be such a friendly place when it first opened too.

We always use Costa within Next in Port Glasgow where the staff are professional helpful and could not be nicer ! This morning as they were very busy we thought we would give the drive thru our custom . On arrival we were met with an on going heated discussion between one of the staff and a man whose partner was in a wheel chair ! They left the premises without buying anything. At the order desk we were served by the same member of staff who was the most unprofessional and unhelpful employee and was totally unreasonable about everything ! In our party there were two front line workers so we are all very much aware of the “virus” to quote her. We left without buying anything too and will not be back. !!!

Called in for afternoon lattes on our way down the coast. The service was good and the young girl was very pleasant. The place was quite busy. A couple of points prompted the 4 stars instead of 5: (1) the lattes were quite cool - I’ll need to remember and ask for extra hot the next time, and (2) the air conditioning over the centre of the room caused very cool spots for several tables (including ours). We weren’t the only customers to comment on this.

Great customer service and happy staff members. always need to ask for sugar though mabye that could be improved ask you if you want sugar always if the latte or flat whites were made more milky as I often find it strong .other than that its a good place for a cuppa.

Have been visiting this coffee house since it first came to the retail park. (In fact it was the first unit to be occupied.) As it was mid morning it was quite busy. The service was friendly and efficient. We had a pot of tea for one and a cappuccino along with a toasted teacake and a cinnamon brioche bun. Everything was fine as expected, however I felt the bun was not as fresh as it should have been hence the reason for 4 and not 5 stars.

On a retail carpark so outlook not great but a typical Costa with typical tastes and staff. If in the area its probably the best place to go

Asked for a non paper straw...that I could clearly see under the useless paper ones and was told I couldn't have one. Stood and argued with me. Why have them visible if you wont give them to customers.

I drove into the Drive-Thru to be greeted and made my order. 2 regular lattès & a hot chocolate. Paid at the next window and then I was handed 3 cups.“I need 10 white sugars please.” Simple enough, but the reply was “we dinny huv any”. “Okay, 10 brown sugar.” Then the jaw dropping moment; “that’s what I’m sayin, we dinny huv any.” “What no sugar at all?”, with the rude reply “that’s what I said.”I handed the cups back and said “we don’t want them then.” With a confused look, she says “you don’t want them?” and stares at me. “We all take sugar, so why would we want them? This is like a joiner turning up to build a wooden house without nails!”, she replied “well, erm... I will have to get my manager then.”I was ‘told’ I had been refunded, at which I said “thank you” and the manager walked away.I am a Costa-Holic meaning between my Wife & I we bought 51 cups (we know that through the app) of coffee last month, but the shocking part is that equates to well over £100p/m!!!The fact I had not been told at the point of making my order, followed by the disbelief that I should still take the coffee was shocking, but for the sales assistant to walk away and no apology was completely unacceptable. Unfortunately, I have to drive past the the shop on my biweekly trips to Edinburgh and with no other Costa on my route, I have no choice but to use this one. Nevertheless, I expect more from Costa!

Was so wanting to try the new blackforest hot chocolate went in to sit as wanted to drink in a hot chocolate glass and not takeaway plastic one. My partner he ordered the gingerbread one when they came they where drinkable and not very hot luke warm I would say which was a shame as looked so yummy we ordered cinnamon roll which was tasteless and very dry my first visit to a Costa staff nice place tidy plenty of stock still as it was later on in the evening would go again but try something different next time.

Your usual Costa here. This one also has a drive through which is handy. Staff were all present and the girl on the roll was quite friendly which was nice. Coffee and cakes to the usual standard and the place was quite clean considering how busy they were. Nothing amazing just your usual experience. No complaints here.

Three hours before closing time last night and in the soft seating area all the chairs were piled up ready for closing.As if that wasn't bad enough the trays were filthy - look as if they hadn't been washed in months and this was not very cleverly disguised by a paper place-mat.Tea-pot also had not been cleaned properly and had a dirty rim round it.Costa really need to invest more in their management to bring this place up to the standard it once had.

We popped in for a coffee whilst shopping nearby. Really sorry we bothered. Everything was dirty, from the overflowing ashtray on the outside table right at the door to the area behind the counter. There were at least 10 unoccupied tables which were strewn with dirty dishes. I had to clear a table to sit down even though the place was very quiet. The toilets were also pretty dirty and there seemed to be plenty of staff around. Had the coffee been good it might have go 2* but that really put the tin lid on. It was bland and tasteless despite having 3 shots?? I have taken photos which I offered to the Head office but they weren't interested. They offered me a £5 e voucher which I declined - not even half what I had spent. Unless this place gets a deep clean I would expect it to be closed by the health inspectors. If you look at my reviews you will see I'm pretty positive but this place was shocking. Unfortunately the APP won't accept the upload of my photos.

I'm a regular at Costa Port Glasgow because of the amazing service, wonderful staff and great atmosphere.

Had a coffee and toast went into disability toilet .toilet was not clean .went to tell staff who were talking just left so disappointed.

Good atmosphere, friendly staff and the coffee is just the way I like it! The service is fast and should you have an allergy they are only too willing to help. Thank you! See you soon!

Café oscuro asado es demasiado, por lo que tiene un sabor a quemado. La leche es de la gaseada en una jarra que no ha sido lavada limpio si nuestros leche, así que sabe como bien quemados. Personal son demasiado de prisa para hacer café correctamente. Otras bebidas de café están muy bien

Este lugar era un servicio al cliente y vergüenza no existía el lugar estaba sucio. Cada mesa habían dejado sin vigilancia y lleno de platos cuando no estaba lleno, la zona cafetera en sí era una vergüenza, sin ningún intento de limpiar que sé de otros costa no es la manera en que está hecho. Recipientes estaban saturadas y cuando llegué, aunque había personal de todos ellos estaban demasiado ocupados hablando de hecho me sirven y caminamos por mí varias veces. Cuando al final conseguí la atención de una señorita me dijo que no era su trabajo ella estaba en el hasta pero ella quizá me sirven porque no había nadie interesado. Era dudosa de beber mi café, teniendo en cuenta el estado de la máquina y las tazas siendo utilizada para hacer.

Served by a disinterested blond girl. Me and 2 other customers in 8 yes 8 tables with dirty dishes and trays. Napkins on floor, sugar papers on floor and staff standing gossiping. A disgrace will not return even for a drive through!!!

Never an issue here I love the coffee and would like to say a massive thank you to the American / Canadian barista who served me the other day when my card pin wasn't accepted and being totally mortified he told me not to worry about it and gave me my coffees on him stating he'd hate to be turned away somewhere if he was in that situation. I can't thank you enough for making me feel at ease and saving the embarrassment of leaving empty handed.

El peor Café Costa que he visitado en mucho tiempo. Una breve sonrisa y contacto visual de la persona mi orden con, sin embargo, la chica que me atendió mi pedido. . . . . No hay contacto visual. No hay comunicación y sin sonrisa. Donde es el servicio al cliente? La planta de la cocina también fue desordenada con basura y parecía como si se hubiera visto una escoba o una fregona en las edades. Muy decepcionante!

Hay un montón de personal aún pululando y tuvieron que ir a encontrar a alguien que sabía cómo HACER UNA SANDWICHERA!! Al parecer encontraron la persona equivocada porque ellos quemados fresco y luego informarnos que se había acabado de reemplazos. Reir mal colección de personal.

Quick and easy service. No issues just another good quality Costa Coffee shop. Family had coffee and cake. Nice selection. I had an Americano Coffee with milk, but found it too strong even when I had extra milk. Apart from that no issues.

Costa en el puerto de Glasgow ha sido una adición muy bienvenida a la ciudad. Está situado dentro de un área que se está desarrollando en un parque comercial. Hay grandes tiendas nombre a abrir sus puertas. Espero que esto se convertirá en un centro comercial y de compras de un día con cualquier éxito es necesaria una parada de combustible necesitado. Probably the worst Costa we have visited service very slow and not always getting it correct staff not very helpful either a place to miss if you in a hurry

Just across the main road from the river, situated in a corner of the Port Glasgow retail park, like an "oasis". Has a drive through too.

Fab and friendly staff at every visit, especially at the drive thru window! It is always very welcoming when sitting in too! 😉

I go there regularly for the best espresso on the south bank of the Clyde. Very friendly and helpful staff, nice place to relax and read the morning newspaper while eating a ham and cheese toastie and drinking many double espressos.

A really friendly and clean Costa sitting in is really nice but the drive though is really good too the food is excellent to go with your coffee,soft drink etc 😃 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Regularmente en el coche para mi café. El servicio siempre es muy bueno.

Yo vengo aquí con frecuencia con mi bebé o para ponerse al día con la familia y amigos. Siempre he encontrado el personal muy amable y servicial. Hay mucho espacio para una sillita si es necesario y sillas para bebés. Yo uso el coche a través de instalaciones bastante a menudo. Puede conseguir 5 estrellas si eran compatibles con mi pedido. Siempre me pides una babyccino (lo cual es una gran relación calidad-precio). Pero a menudo ponen le obsequiaremos dentro, que, según su sitio web, debe no ser no como. Bastante molesto, pero no lo suficiente como para que me deje de ir!

It's great to be able to sit and relax with a coffee and a book and not feel the pressure that you have to hurry.The staff are friendly and the place clean my only moan is I wish they would cook the toast a bit longer.I also wish Costa would sell scones.

We visit here regularly and really like the place. The coffee is always good, they have a good selection of food and the staff are always helpful and polite. 5/5

Este es, de lejos, el mejor de la Costa que he ido. El personal es muy amable y nada es una molestia. Siempre dispuestos a tomar mi pedido muy en particular mi madre de café y a veces ella ni siquiera tienes que pedir. El café es muy relajante y el espacio exterior es muy práctico cuando hace sol o si estás fuera un paseo con el perro. Gerente de la tienda (Gemma) siempre es hablar con los clientes y asegurarse de que estés contento. Servicio de primera clase y un personal (especialmente Sean, Gary, Carol, Maureen y obviamente Gemma).

They've passed my "Flat White Test" with flying colours. Perfect colour, texture and taste. Friendly staff too.
