Classic chip shop, one of the best around. Marco has been in the business since he was a youngster, he's still there for a good reason.

best chippy in town. Wish they would update their one line presence. Add opening hours. I have lost count of the numbers of times i have gone and they've been closed and i had to go somewhere else.

This place used to be a classic italian cafe, packed with great sweets, toffees etc, ice cream , milkshakes etc , the ice cream is ok but the place is jaded and has went downhill, looks like they are closing down, bought a medium tub of ice cream, when i seen the size of the "medium"tub i burst out laughing , its around half the size of a small tin of beans, value for money goes a long way in cafes , have a look at your pricing as the cafes main attraction is or was ice cream, the prices are ridiculous, if you want value for money and the best ice cream on the west coast walk down a hundread yards to the west station cafe, which is a gem. Best fish and chips always. Plenty of fish and really good chips. Couldn't wait to tuck in. Great family meal.

Was booking tickets at the place across the road, saw the café and fancied going there for lunch as the venue was a bit too formal. Great choice. They do basic hot filled rolls, slice and tottie scone for £2.20, and, a cooked breakfast for only £4.00 - great value. Girl whom served us was pleasant and cheerful, and the place was very clean. Hope to go again soon.

Pretty basic cafe. Does what it says on the tin. Sweet selection is a nice addition though

Orangefield do lovely breakfasts. Staff are friendly and attentive. They do a fab mug of tea. Only downfall is no public toilet. Lucky for me i don't live too far away.

Ice cream is lovely and staff are pleasant.nothing is a bother to them.prices are good for the items on offer

Sorry folks but your ice cream is not a patch on the original Orangefiled Cafe that I grew up with, and it's expensive. I'll be going to the other Italian Cafes in the town for my ice cream in the future. I think you need to sort this out.

Arriving early for a nearby funeral, popped in for a coffee and breakfast roll plonked upon the table without a word being spoke. Staff were in the cafe part having their own breakfast and seemed none too happy to be disturbed. Truly awful coffee and a very average roll. No welcome. No please or thank you and no farewell greetings. Under previous management this was a great cafe serving excellent coffees and ice cream and very friendly service.

my friend had some chips out of here the other night and i stole a chip of her to taste one and i loved it so much it made me want more

Nice chips, however the salt and vinegar boy with long hair is ugly.

Orangefield have the best ice cream in Inverclyde, if not the whole of Scotland! I can recommend the breakfast and homemade cakes, made by the owners. Really friendly cafe.

I lvvv this chippy esp the mac n cheese but i now live in belfast sooo plzzz can u pm the recipe as ive git a really bad eating disorder and all i want is ur mac n cheese or even if i can sebd money to a pal will u sell a bulk order plzzzzz?

Lasagna and Marco's macaroni are majestic. Bon appetite or whatever the saying goes!
