Morrisons in Inverclyde

The staff are great. The trouble is that management have cut things drastically and therefore there are often long waits, not able to provide a variety of things and due to poor staffing levels the staff that are there are run off their feet and have to put up with all the complaints.

Food is enjoyable, cafe was a bit chilly. Lorna gave 110% service as usual she is non stop with serving customers, cleaning tables, serving food and going and getting stock from shopfloop but still makes time to interact with the customers she is the reason I keep returning puts a smile on your face everytime.

Online ordering - out of order Cold drinks machine - out of order Hot drinks machines- out of order Orange juice machine - out of order Was waiting for 15 min with nobody serving then just went to Tesco cafe. This place has went downhill over the last 6 month nothing is getting repaired. We have been every weekend for a long time but can’t even get a hot drink now.

Paid for still water 99p. It’s 65p from the meal deal aisle. Cafe never had any after we’d paid. Rather than take one from the floor, they offered tap water instead. Poor Customer Service. Kids only eat free from the main menu, not breakfasts.

Had a long wait for food, but Isobelle at the front counter was very cheerful and lovely, offered us free tea and coffee while we waited, and made our overall experience a lot better!

Been there few times with my family. Good food and service 😊 affordable price as well

Me and wife had bacon roll i had a fish tea excellent wife then had afternoon tea for 1 it was very good service and staff exceptional helpful in every way fish super will be back yours wombats

The meal was lovely the staff were like sergeant major's being sarcastic and ordering people about I have had many meals in the cafe with lovely staff but Friday's staff were a bit much

We found that our breakfast and hot drinks wasn't very hot and the hot chocolate is disgusting as its just water there no milk in it at all

An extremely busy supermarket, I popped into cafe for breakfast , there was no diet drinks unless you crossed over to supermarket area and brought it over to cafeteria area, apart from that everything was good , price was reasonable and staff amicable, & helpful, food palatable.

Cheap and Cheerful. Food is ok. The full breakfast while providing plenty of food will help to keep the NHS in business, being ideal fodder for blocked arteries and obesity. Surroundings are pleasant and the staff are helpful. A cafe for a convenient fuel stop, situated within the store.

Unfortunately the potato scones were chewy and some pieces of black pudding didn't taste right my wife had to eat mints to take away the taste. One of the coffee machines was putting out short measures and the other wasn't hot enough. But the service was as usual very good.

Greenock is a great place and nice people,its very busy for the size of the place and 3 major supermarkets here, took a while to get served but its Christmas panic buying

A typical supermarket café providing good basic food with no pretentions - exactly what to expect. Always very busy and popular with customers. Sausage, egg and chips was good value at £4.00.

Sat down for breakfast and it arrived quick,I was looking forward to eating it, COLD, at best some was lukewarm, sent it back and when the new one arrived it was just as bad, solution, we will give you a refund, and to add insult to injury they took the money off for our tea, would have thought the least they would have done was give us that for free, will never use them again

went to buy a few items and something to eat ( as i didnt want a meal at hotel where i was staying) went to a check out where there was a yong lad who looked really bored so i went to his checkout. I tried to make conversation but he was really glum? like he didn't really want to be there? if he dosent like the job there are loads of people who would like to do what he does.

Had a basic fry-up last week. Meal served up within minutes. No complaints. Similarly to other Morrisons cafes the staff run about doing 2 or 3 jobs at the one time. Lady on the till left the till to serve food and then back to the till.Obviously a penny pinching exercise by Morrisons. See my review of Morrisons Dumbarton. Exactly the same.Someone senior in Morrisons needs to take stock of this and stop this nonsense and get in appropriate numbers of staff.

Had a great vegetarian curry and my parents had enormous fried breakfasts. Very good value avg £4 per meal. Would go again

When I return to Greenock, my first place of call is to this place, there is no where in town to get a fresh Scottish breakfast. Friendly welcome and even though I only come back to Greenock once a year, the staff remember my name. Well worth a visit.

I used to do Sunday Breakfast here just about every week. Food was good, reasonably priced and service relatively quick. I have visited a couple of times recently the 1st visit was poor, I visited a couple of weeks later just in case I had been in on a particularly bad day. This second visit was worse than the first ! I placed my order for the Full Scottish and, as I do everywhere I go, emphasised that mushrooms where a NO GO. This was even printed on the receipt. Upon paying for my breakfast I was told that there was no tattie scones left (remember this is a supermarket with a shelf full of the things), no link sausages (again, supermarket with several versions on offer for sale) and the toaster wasn't working (shelves full of toasters - don't buy 1, I nearly burnt my kitchen down). I was offered alternatives for the missing items, which I took. 50 minutes later, having read the Sunday paper back to front a plate was shuvved in front of me 'no eggs left so we gave you extra mushrooms' !!!!! I pointed this out and it was suggested that I just leave them on the side of the plate. No no no !!! The mear sight of mushrooms puts me off my food let alone having them sitting on top of the rest of the food. I dismissed the plate and told them to cook the food fresh. I got the same plate back 10 minutes later with mushroom slime adorning the side of the plate. For by this several items had disappeared along with the mound of mushrooms. 1 hour 10 minutes after ordering I left with a full refund.......begrudgingly paid out.

Decided while waiting on my husband to have a cup of tea and a tray bake before he met me after his work to do our shopping. It was the first time I had been in their resturant since it had been done up. Love it,sears were comfy which to me is very important. It was kept very clean even though it was very busy. The staff were as usually very kind and help full.

I have had lunch here several times this year, and always found the food to be good and inexpensive, with a reasonable selection available. Each time it has been quite busy, so appears to be popular with many other shoppers too.

We eat here regularly and are never disappointed, the staff work very hard but are always pleasant, the breakfasts are great, fish and chips, afternoon tea.

had a breakfast in here and it was rubbish food overcooked and did not have a very good taste...did not have to wait long so obviously it must have been sitting around for a while

Popped in quite a few times when we've been out shopping and never been disappointed Chicken Tikka Masala is as good as you'd get in an Indian restaurant Never had long to wait for meals and they have regular deals on for kids

i find this shop very good for baby clothes as well as food i would personally reccomend this place if you want a cheap shop

We stayed at the Premier which offers breakfast at a separate charge starting at 6.99.

I love to shop in this supermarket as the produce is really fresh and well presented and they offer a great range! They also have one of the easiest car parks to use, with plenty of spaces available throughout the week. They provide blue badge parking just outside the entrance and though they provide more than most supermarkets in the area, they are still often full. The shop is very spacious and the aisles are wide, so easy to get around with either a wheelchair, or a trolley and they have lots of tills, which, when busy are fully staffed, so queues are kept to a minimum. They have brand and price comparisons with other leading supermarkets, so prices are good across their full range. The staff are friendly and efficient. They have a really nice cafeteria which offers teas, coffees, breakfasts and lunches at reasonable prices and is open in line with the store hours (not 24 hours but extended most nights to about 22.00 hours). Their toilets are on the level, and easy to get to, though not aware of a specific disabled toilet, and a kept clean & tidy with regular inspection. They have separate fish, meat and deli counters and a separate bakery producing fresh bread / rolls etc all day long, for a variety of nationals! They also stock a good range of Mexican, Indian, Chinese & Japanese herbs, spices, accompaniments & sauces, if you like to cook your own meals. Pity it's so far out of the centre of town and a bit difficult to get to if you don't own a car, though they do have a taxi rank there and there is a bus service which passes by! I shop in a number of supermarkets locally, but Morrisons is my favourite and my recommendation!

Morrisons cafe offer a wide range of snacks and meals for everyone's taste. Whether you want a snack or a substantial meal you will not be disappointed. There can be a bit of a wait at busy times but it's worth it to have a delicious meal. Prices are great for being a supermarket restaurant. There are lockable trolley bays to store your shopping so you can relax and enjoy your rest after the stress of shopping.

A very clean supermarket with nice wide aisles which are easily negotiated, especially for wheelchair users and they have trolleys to accommodate wheelchair users too. It offers a very good selection of product of most brands, at competitive prices. The have separate fresh fish, fresh meat, deli and fresh bread counters at the back! The staff are very friendly and efficient, with less queuing than other local supermarkets! I particularly like the parking facilities as there are always plenty of spaces, for regular, disabled and parent / child customers! They have easy access toilets at the entrance, which are kept in immaculate condition, with regular inspection by staff! They also have an attached petrol filling station at the entrance / exit of the premises, which offer competitive prices and, from time to time, offer discounts per litre depending on your total purchase of foodstuffs and goods! My favourite supermarket in Greenock

Have been in a few times at various times throughout the day and on different days. The service is diabolical, very slow, apart from taking your order. The food is never hot, tables need clearing and you definitely will have finished your tea or coffee, prior to your food arriving on your table.

Really good value for money, with some deals like kids eating free I can really recommend the chicken tika Masala it's as good as you would get in an Indian restaurant

Food was good in the Restaurant. Baked potato was quite small but chilli filling was tasty and came with a nice side salad.

we love it here, the staff are all really friendly and considering we eat out a lot in a la carte restaurants the quality of the food in here is pretty good value for money.
