Great venue with good accessibility which to me is paramount as a carer for someone in a wheelchair who likes to go to shows. It really is a lively venue with incredibly helpful staff who go out of their way to help you. Cannot recommend it enough. If I could give it more stars I would.

Dropped off my 88 year old mum for afternoon show. Staff were helpful. Show was good she said. Thanks. Parking / dropping off a nightmare. April 2024 1st Time at a show in there. The magic of the Beatles. Absolutely brilliant 👏. You could feel the music changing with the times from the 60s etc..throughout the show. Very professional. Interactive with the audience was just right. Music was very accurate although no harmonica. Due back September 2025. Recommended. Hope that's enough time to stock up the bar selection.

Really disappointed with the customer services at the beacon arts guild missed a performance due to a bereavement in November and tried contacting the venue and no one answered to voice mail or email. Eventually I got through and was told management would be in touch, still waiting a month later. Countless correspondence and still no management response. Then told while attending the Christmas panto that the show account was settled so tough luck email to manager but not to hold a breath. Four tickets to a performance down the toilet, no offer of another performance to anything as a courtesy, considering the fact if they answered their mail then I would not be in this position. What is all their fundraising at every performance for when they can't offer a genuine alternative during a crisis.

The steak pie I had was tasty more gravy would have been nice & partner had the fish which was ok we thin fries over cooked & too crispy neither of us could eat ours . Dessert was option of three types of cake again tasty enough but maybe some cream could have been offered . I asked for fresh orange & lemonade , definitely not fresh orange & Sprite is lemon & lime not lemonade . Nice situation for a cafe/bistro & even when it got busy it didn’t feel overcrowded .

Theatre itself is good with spacious, comfy seats with loads of leg room. The three stars given are due to the queue for the bar. A lot of people were left dosapointed as the bar closed before people got time before a drink. On the plus side, there were no bag checks on entry, so you could just bring your own if that way inclined. 😉

Popped in for lunch. The only good thing was the view. Staff didn’t engage at any point, it seems you take a seat, go back up to the bar area to collect a menu for yourself and then wait. And wait. When it arrived the food was awful. Steak was so tough. Mac and cheese didn’t taste of cheese and the mayonnaise was something never to be experienced (I’m guessing it was cheap).
