Very disappointing! We have always stopped here for a takeaway lunch to have on the boat home to Belfast. The food was always amazing. However, today we got a tuna sandwich which was so wet it was a mess. We also had a ham and cheese wrap. The cheese had obviously been defrosted and in doing so it had melted....not pleasant in a wrap. Unfortunately, we won't be back

I picked up a hot roll and the chicken tikka baked potato at Fullarton Cafe as part of our visit to Scotland, and the meal was excellent! The best meal I have had on our trip! They have fresh ingredients, and the baked potato was served with a salad which I loved. The baked potato was served with the chicken on top. The hot roll was great with fresh bun. I would recommend egg and bacon. We will certainly be back!

I pop in here quite often for a coffee before my bus, having a longish time to wait for a bus today, I decided to try the all day breakfast & let's just say I wasn't disappointed- bacon, egg, potato scone, sausage, beans, black pudding, toast & a lovely cup of coffee all for £6.50, freshly & perfectly cooked, not swimming in grease, this was perfection on a plate, decided to follow up with an amazing fruit scone & another cup of coffee, perfect treat after a long night shift, the staff are friendly, chatty & always welcoming & the cafe is scrupulously clean, will definitely be back

I visited here with my 2 young grandkids. It was c9am and there was no-one else in the place. The lady serving was friendly and the service was good. We had a cappuccino, 2 kids drinks and 2 cakes - just over £7 which I thought was ok for what we had. The selection of cakes was pretty limited but what we had was good. The cappuccino was so-so.

I popped into the Fullarton cafe as I had time before my bus, as soon as I walk In the women on the counter serving shouts at her child who’s been put in a booth to SHUT UP! So it was my turn to get served.let’s just say she didn’t want to be there, “roll and sausage please” her reply IS THAT IT! Sorry but what an attitude this woman had and if this was her at 9am in the morning i hate to think what she’s like at noon! Manners cost nothing not even a thanks or enjoy your day!,if your going to run a business then maybe a customer care course for the staff wouldn’t go a miss! This cafe would not still be open if it wasn’t for its location!,I kick myself for not walking out the minute she shouted at the child! That £2 I’ll grudge for life! So rude!

I recently visited the Fullarton cafe with my Dad for a quick lunch (tea and a sandwich). We were refused service saying that they would shut in 10mins (at 2.55pm) despite the sign outside saying they were open until 3.30pm. Very disappointing and poor attitude. We won’t be back

Dropped in for coffee from the adjacent bus station. A popular cafe with take out and a fair amount of seating. Not too impressed with the home baking. Service was quick and efficient. The cafe provides food for events as required. Good prices and close to the town centre.

Been a regular visitor over the years ,agree with the recent other reviews on here ,unfortunately there does seem to be an unless you know the staff you won't get so much as a smile attitude going on ,the food is standard fare ,ordered lasagne and chips and that's what you get ,strangely not even a bit of salad to complement ,to finish on a plus point ,there home made scones/cakes etc are very good ,I will try again in a few months to see if there's been any improvement

I've used this small cafe on many occasions now, warm welcomes every time with smiles on the faces of the friendly staff, my orders have been simple at times and sometimes a little more complicated and overwhelming, say 10 all day breakfasts all with changes all made perfectly and tasted great. Summery Great sammich makers ❤ Good value for money, friendly staff and great food! Would reccomend.... ❤😁

Has this place changed hands? My last two visits have been so disappointing. The quality if the food has gone downhill. Prawns are minuscule and extremely tough - almost like shrimps. Egg mayo is disgusting. Tastes vinegary. I suspect it is mixed with cheap salad cream which I hate. Such a shame as I really enjoyed this place and popped in fairly regularly. Simply not worth it it terms of prices and poor quality of food. Staff seem a bit miserable now. Won't be back I am afraid.

Just in for sheer convenience the service was shocking, toke My baguette too go what a mess more sauce than anything else and half way through found a hair in my baguette. I was shocked by the food hygiene standards and after I found the hair my partner pointed out she handle money then when straight back to making her baguette. AVOID AVOID AVOID.

Stopped for a quick take out lunch got 2 baguettes ! Staff looked pretty unhappy and we're not very friendly! Girl who made our baguettes stopped half way to take payment from someone. She handled the (filthy) money and went back to prepping our food without washing her hands! Ewww! She also cut one baguette and half wiped the knife with a dirty tea towel to then cut the next one! Yuk! Shame as the food looked good!

Hi my mum and dad visited Fullerton's cafe on 25th and were very disappointed. They ordered two rolls and bacon, the bacon was black and very tough. Also the toilets were disgusting especially the toilet seats.

Drove to Dobbie's for lunch at 1pm today. The roll and sandwich counter was busy as usual, but the hot food counter was empty, I liked the look of the cauliflour cheese, a waited to be served, and waited, and waited. To my left people were being served, to my right ( coffee point) people we being served, i made a point of looking like I would like to be served, i noticed a staff member or possibly the cafe boss made a great job of ignoring me as she wandered backward and forth several times. Eventually I gave up, I shan't be going to Debbie's Ayr any more.

Had lunch here on a quiet Wednesday afternoon. Sits on a busy corner of the main street but once inside it opens into a bar area and good restaurant area and garden overlooking the river( and boatyard). Menu has a good selection of classic pub food. Took a little time for our meal to arrive but as is was freshly made this was not a problem. The boatyard burger was one of the best burgers I have had in years and my wife was delighted with the chicken pie with mash and fresh veg. The chef knows how to cook!! If you are in Girvan this place is worth a visit for the food and the view.
