I live locally, so plenty of options if not too many. We walked into a a near empty coffee shop and took a seat (just the two of us) Quickly approached by a female member of staff who advised and I quote “I can’t let you sit there, my boss will be in soon and he won’t be happy if there are two people sitting in a four person booth” ha ha. We looked around for the YouTube prank cams, the coffee shop was near empty, and even if not these booths aren’t huge 6-8 seaters, 4 at a squeeze! I don’t blame the baristas being honest, I think they knew how absurd the request was, but their boss or owner must rule with an iron fist. They did try showing us to another 2 person table but we politely left, whilst laughing our heads off.

Overpriced average food. Inconsistent with what you get when ordering the same item. For example, sometimes you get a hot chocolate that's made with effort with lovely sprinkles and marshmallows and sometimes you get a plain one with no sprinkles but are still charged the same price. Then when you order a croissant you don't so much as get a side salad. Whereas on Byres Road Cafe Francoise charges similar but you get a lovely side salad with dressing. Also it isn't always easy ordering because there seems to be a language barrier with a few members of staff. Overall nothing special.

We have been regulars for a while but won't be back after the service today. We were told out group of 3 couldn't sit in a booth because its only dor groups of 4 even though they're were no other tables. Another member of staff said it was okay so we stayed. We also ordered two cheese and tomato toasties which were a complete waste of money. They were so soggy and only one slice of tomato on half the toastie. Won't be back again.

Great spot and location unfortunately the tall blonde gentleman had a terrible attitude and when I had to ask for a remake on my coffee because the beans where clearly burnt and tasted bitter I could feel and hear him being bitchy about it with other staff His customer service skills are atrocious and should be given some training on how to deliver better service I've been coming here since it first opened about 6/7 years ago and he has put me off going back as he clearly talks about the customers when he is there

Visited this cafe today with two other ladies. As it was busy we squashed round a table for two with 3 seats. I have a broken shoulder and my arm is in a sling. A booth then became available and as we started to move to sit in it as it would be more comfortable and less awkward for me,a man signalled across the cafe from another seat to say that this was “his seat” and he then moved and sat in the booth. I believe he is the cafe manager/owner…his manner towards me was very rude, abrupt and unsympathetic. I will not return to this cafe and nor will my friends. Very poor attitude and customer service.

Cooked food not properly reheated, and the bacon was all fat. Cheapest quality food I have had in a cafe for a long while. Our coffees were like dishwater and lukewarm, and the woman in charge of serving was very rude and aggressive towards customers and the young teenage girl working with her. To top if off, the toilets were dirty, not really a surprise, as the overall cleanliness was very poor. Certainly avoid this cafe and go elsewhere in Partick.

Wel run and popular. But could that be because it is cheap? Soup was "wash up water "style, potatoe and leek. My sausage filled roll less interesting than the sauce (red or brown) that comes with it.

Rating I would give it a zero circle Now I appreciate its New Year’s Eve But if you are open you should be selling good food I was hungry for a cheese and ham toastie Caffe Monza was busy and looked good My order came as a take away in a brown paper bag I noticed the cheese oil on the paper but as I say i was hungry Took it to my car On opening the bag It was a mush of cheese and bread I couldn’t separate the two sections Eventually prised them apart Tried to cut the one section Bread was soggy with cheese and wouldn’t cut Cheese all over the place And on the outside of toastie.!!! Obviously microwaved I was hungry but couldn’t accept what i had been given It wasn’t cheap either Took it back in Very rude counter girl Said We don’t make them we just buy them in and heat them There’s nothing we can do! As I suspected “micro ping” It gives the look of a hand made food cafe but the toastie certainly not what I expected Toastie should have toasted exterior bread The clues in the title I’d avoid if I was you First time visit won’t be back Maybe their staff could be taught some customer service AVOID !!!

Very nice looking inside. Bit overpriced. Ciabatta is very small and comes with absolutely nothing beside it, no salad, crisps or even coleslaw as you would get in other places for less than the price here. All a bit small and unfulfilling sadly.

Went there a month ago to get a take away americano, for which I paid 3.10 pounds. And I honestly think this was the worst coffee I've ever paid for, even macdonalds sells better coffee than this. Beans where clearly burned to a crisps, it felt like just drinking some kind of burnt substance. Never going there again.

My friend and I (she in her Lunch break) thought we would give this new eaterie a try.....boy! was it a bad decision. Dirty tables....cleaned it ourselves. Nobody to tell you that you have to go to the counter, get a menu, return to your table, make your choices then join the queue again. Stood watching the staff....poor girl on the Till ( only one wearing a mask correctly) was clearly struggling with taking orders over the deafening music and constantly had to refer to a colleague for help with what to press on the Till. Boy in kitchen area, with undernose mask, lifting salad, crisps, etc with bare hands. Eventually gave my order and asked for a receipt which caused panic for the poor till operator who had to ask the man beside her...who seemed to be the Barista. Was handed a little gadget with a number on it to put on the Table.... not sure why as it neither buzzed nor flashed and seemed of no use to the servers. Sat for 40 minutes. Went to the counter and asked how much longer our food and drinks would be; young girl told me that we were next and subsequently brought our drinks. Sat for 20 minutes. Back to counter as we had no more time to wait....Barista man became very defensive....told me they were busy, did I expect to be served first, pointed to the orders on the rack and told me I would be the FIFTH meal to be cooked! Asked for my money back and left hungry and angry. I was prepared to make allowances in a new cafe, but not to that extent. Coffee Monza Greenock will be neither recommended nor re visited.

He estado aquí varias veces.

If you want a nice hot, tasty, home cooked, good value breakfast, GO ELSEWHERE! Where do I start? I ordered the full all day breakfast, at £9.50, it was not cheap and when it arrived , not looking very good value. The positives. The rosti, beans and toast were nice and hot. The negatives. 2 sausages the size of chipolatas lukewarm. Mushroom stone cold. Streaky bacon, well undercooked, greasy and stone cold. The poached eggs were meant to be soft. They weren't and again barely lukewarm. I complained about the bacon and was brought another plate of cold, greasy undercooked bacon. I again complained and the waitress said she would get me a refund. I said I wasn't wanting one. However, a few minutes later, Jocelyn the restaurant manager appeared to let me know we could have a free hot drink but no way was I getting the refund which I hadn't asked for! Apparently it was no ones fault. I learned that everything is cooked, sorry heated to pre programmed times and temperatures. Also, and perhaps the worst. The poached eggs are deliverd in a little plastic pod with water, I assume partially cooked , and put into hot water to set. YEUGH! Pity they weren't in a shell like other eggs. My wife had the pancakes, bacon and maple syrup. Obviously not fresh made, just heated. Her bacon was the same as mine. At £8.50 it was a disgrace. We won't be back. M&S was always known for quality. What has happened?
