Good gym and classes. Unfortunately, instructors often put on music very loud (over 75 dB), above the recommended safe threshold. Also swimming pool changing area not being kept very clean, many of the users do not treat the public spaces with respect (balls of long dark hair are a common occurrence in the female showers, dirt and old sticky plasters on the floor, sometimes nappies), and cleaning staff do not seem to manage to inspect/clean often enough to keep on top of it at peak times. Some showers have been very temperamental in temperature for years. There is a SuDS pond outside that the sauna shower greywater goes into, but this does not get explained properly, and again some users ignore the request to not use soap in that particular one, so sadly the water gets contaminated. Stirling is lucky to have a sports centre, unlike many other Scottish towns, but sadly it doesn't feel like the modern, clean place it could be.

NorthPoint Cafe: Emily was such a lovely person and server! She has the kindest affect, as well as the efficiency of dedicated server. What a fabulous combination! Si (sp?) was so courteous and kind when I realized all the toilet paper was gone. I had no tissues on me, nor were there any other paper products in the toilet. Si happened to walk past as I opened the door, and I told him my predicament. He went immediately and got a new roll and handed it to me, promising he’d get it installed after I finished cleaning myself up. MANY thanks for that, Si! I am so grateful !!! The owners should be so proud of their establishment!!! We live in Richmond, VA and ALWAYS make it a point to eat there whenever we are there visiting our PhD student❣️We are vegans and appreciate all the vegan options they offer!!! BRAVA❣️🌱 And if you have to wait, it’s worth it! Have a little walk about to see the beautiful ruins and sea!

This is a great local hotel with a variety of food and a good selection of alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks. Staff are excellent. My last visit was okay. Portions were average, though the food is good. I ordered the large fish but now wonder if the plates were mixed up, as the fish was standard and there were mushy peas whereas I asked for garden peas. Perhaps I should have queried. The starter was smallish but the sweet was excellent. My companion had the bill so I don't know the split of costs between alcohol and food but the total cost was £100, which seemed a lot. I would still go back, mind you and order with more care. Probably alcohol has increased in price. I drive so have Non alcohol equivalents. These cost about the same everywhere.

Pub was busy with good atmosphere . We sat beside fire which added to the charm and warmth of the place . Food was served piping hot , well presented and by friendly staff. Great selection of drinks behind bar. Would recommend a visit .

Went there for lunch was very Disappointed the food was not good enough for me I ordered a large all day breakfast it was not large a child would have eaten this. the place was very cold my grand son was freezing I bet there was a lot of people there were cold to. was not impressed at all will not be back there again very Disappointed !!

Modern café with cozy seating areas and attractive offerings. We had scones and shortbread, as well as flat white and peach blossom tea. Everything tasted great and was pretty cheap for Edinburgh. The service was attentive and friendly.

Came for a works Christmas dinner. Service was really good, organised, knew what they were doing etc. Atmosphere was lovely and cosy. Food was seriously impressive - not the largest positions but the actual food is satiating and delicious, beautifully presented, and all round impressive. I had the salmon cannelloni, plaice, and apple for dessert. The only things were that my plaice was a tiny bit dry but everything else was absolutely perfect. The gnocchi was sooo good - would have loved some more gnocchi and less mushrooms as there was quite a lot of the latter. And my cannelloni was warm rather than being hot when served. All round delicious though! Will be back with my partner

The service provided by the staff on a Sunday evening was excellent. The food was well-presented, piping hot, and served in ideal portion sizes. There was minimal time wasted between courses, and at no point did the staff hover over tables to rush us. Instead, the table was cleared efficiently and at appropriate time. I highly recommend The Brae.

Great wee pub and friendly staff.

The server was very good. I ordered the liver and onions, it was inedible, boiled liver, as one might make for their dogs. Soup was good. Won't be back.

Una familia de cuatro vino a tomar un delicioso almuerzo. Tortitas, huevos escalfados/pan tostado y haggis/bollo relleno de papa. Todo muy bien presentado y todo muy sabroso. Lavado con excelentes cafés blancos planos. Personal encantador y amable también. Muy recomendable.

Great lunch today. Great service from the entire team. Great food at a great price (took advantage of the £1 burger deal). Great beer. Looking forwards to returning again soon. Really appreciated the service which is often lacking when you go out nowadays. The whole team could not be more helpful and accommodating. Cheers.

We had a great night at Alhambra Cafe mossend Bellshill on 4th January 2025 26 of us there for a friends surprise 70th birthday meal The place is spotless The staff were amazing well organized and nothing was too much for them The food was well cooked and piping hot Everyone got what they ordered A very enjoyable meal thoroughly recommend it Well done Alhambra!
