Orchard Park Hotel in East Renfrewshire

We stayed in the hotel for a few nights. The staff and service are amazing. The staff helped us out allot and ways with a smile. We ate Kosher, so we ordered special food from a Kosher Deli. The staff saved our order in the Fridge and even warmed it up for us, which was very helpful. The hotel is very close to the Shul. It is also close to whisky distillerys and other attractions.

Food always well presented. Good sized portions. Staff friendly Would recommend a visit. I have not stayed in hotel. I have only eaten there.

Great place, booked the function suite for my companies 20th anniversary/fundraiser for the Prince & Princess of Wales Hospice and have to say the staff and management were absolutely brilliant, nothing was a bother, buffet was excellent and we had nothing but compliments from our guest. Really impressed..

Visit regularly for food, always excellent

Bar was extremely busy but didn't really affect service. Our waitress made a mistake with our order, missing out one meal. However, as soon as she realised she came to our table, apologised, got the missing meal ordered and took it off the bill. We all make mistakes, she couldn't have handled it any better. Excellent service, food and drink.

Average food, fairly expensive drinks

Went for lunch, 10 out of 10 food was really good and excellent portion sizes. We ordered 2 long vodkas and I don't know what we got but it wasn't a long vodka and there was no vodka in that glass. But overall wouldn't stop me going back for food. It was very quiet for a Saturday which I thought it would of been busy shame because staff are friendly and it a really nice restaurant and bar.

Had a lunch here with my mum, great wee place for a wrap.

Comfy spacious room - stayed upstairs in the hotel. Bathroom a wee bit small although very functional. Dinner was great withe £10 for 2 courses. Service was excellent from the ladies. Breakfast service was very attentive and tasty.

Popped in for an early dinner as I noticed that they had a new set menu of 2 courses for £15. Several diners in and it was only 5.30, I had the mussels in white wine and cream (you could have had them with a tomato sauce) with garlic bread, they were delicious my husband had the chicken satay, a couple of skewers on a seriously peanutty sauce which he said was very good. Main course for him was fish and chips and peas and I chose the sticky chilli chicken. Both were very good. Overall great value for very nice food...... We will return!

Been a while but great to see standards are so high. Well done to managers regarding bar service as have seen seldom better anywhere. Bar staff always looking to serve customers and are very friendly.

Delicious lunch and staff very friendy

I've never stayed here but the food is excellent. The mussels, chicken satay skewers and Cullen skink are all really, really good and I wholeheartedly recommend them to anybody whose looking for a place for lunch. Delicious.

Amazing food, cocktails and service on a busy Sunday afternoon! The wait staff were very accommodating, even when we hadn’t booked a table in advance. 10/10 recommend!

I was there with my husband and the meal was delicious. I didn't get the name of the waitress who served us but she was extremely helpful and nothing was too much bother; such an asset to the business. We will definitely be back. Avril Houston

Excellent business stay, efficient and friendly staff and a good location to get into the city centre for work in the morning.

If you are one of the glamorous set, this venue will suit you. The staff are more interested in how they look than in tending to your needs. Buffet food for our party was really good but slow in appearing despite being told it would take ten minutes. Even paying the £862 bill took a while as the staff were busy having a conversation. If you don't mind being ignored while you wait, go here. Parking totally inadequate.

It's a nice place, over £5 for a mediocre pint though.

Stunning friendly beautiful place, recommended big time. Our stay was too short

First time at orchard park, went with family for lunch,had fish and chips, and was very tasty, the service was good, but that would be expected as not very busy, we would be very happy to return at a later date.

Quite well priced accommodation, room was OK, comfy bed, breakfast was a very nice cooked Scottish type, lovely. Had dinner in the bar, very noisy place to eat in which wasn't great, I couldn't wait to get out, bar meal wasn't great, dry rice, dry salad, fairly unappealing and over priced for what it was.

The Orchard Park was a lovely welcoming place .The staff were very helpful and breakfast was lovely .location is great for shos cafe and restaurants would definitely recommend .

Very expensive but good all round establishment

Family meal and Justin and his staff were extraordinarily good. Thank you so much for the great service and the food was superb and great value. We will be back soon.

Had a visit for a coffee catch up, and the customer service was great. Sitting outside in the beer garden was glorious, staff were attentive and friendly. Coffee was creamy and delicious, with the added little touch of some delish tablet

We were in the area for a concert. Staff are very friendly and helpful, the bar was buzzing on Friday afternoon and later on in the evening too. Food was absolutely fantastic. Highly recommend the Orchard Park to anyone looking for good accommodation and great food.

Seems a no-bad place But we'll over priced

Some of our party were residents. My fab experience was when we asked at short notice for a table seating our whole party of 13 (!) on a Satruday at a time suitable for an onward event. We required dinners served at 17.30. None of our requests were too much bother. We 13 enjoyed lovely food, good menu choices and flowing wines and beers. The service was faultless and cheerful.

Only used a function room, was spacious, clean, and well lit. The food was good and the staff were very attentive and well presented. Unfortunately, it's not suited for disabled access, which is more than likely due to buildings' age and settings than by design

Been for both a conference and a meal with colleagues and would totally recommend.

Lovely place, good food and coffee and a nice room with a great bed. Only issue would be that plug sockets in the room weren't really sufficient.

1st time for dinner & drinks with friends. The food was delicious, the service was outstanding & staff couldn't fo enough for us. Decor was tastefully comfy. 100% satisfaction

Booked for 6pm on Sunday 11 Dec for dinner - first visit since lockdown - used to come here regularly socially/family occasions. Don’t know what has happened.? The young staff were friendly and welcoming. I ordered a sirloin steak medium with chunky chips and pepper sauce - sauce and chips now extra. However, we were informed that they had run out of hand cut chips - said I wasn’t in a hurry and could wait for them to be made - server made it clear this was not an option but could have some nice mash! Agreed reluctantly - my husband chose 3 small plates to be served at same time. Food arrived and my steak was barely warm - mash was a big glut of tasteless bulk - probably worst or closest to it I ve had. Waited at least 5 minutes before we managed to attract attention - by this point we had both eaten the small plates. Felt the ? manager lacked insight as he said he would take the steak price from bill. Didn’t/ couldn’t offer explanation Pointed out that we hadn’t had a proper dinner - said to leave it with him and took the wine off the bill. Just felt that no one was interested. The presentation of the foot seems less appealing than previous presentation in OP. Would like to give it another try but concerned in case this is it! Three small plates were lovely

My local when meeting my friend for lunch. Worth booking a table as it can get very busy. For a change I had the Salt n Chilli Chicken burger, instead of the fish and chips, and the burger was lovely. Can recommend. Staff are friendly and attentive.

Didn't stay over, just used the bar as its a reasonable walk from where I live. What can I say, it's location determines the crowd, and most of the people who can afford to live around here are middle aged professional types, so that's pretty much what you get. It's busy and popular being one of the very few bars in the area. Good service and a great selection of drinks.

Didn't stay over at the hotel. Just at the restaurant for the forst time. But the meals were absolutely delicious! Fantastic. Great service. Thoroughly recommend.

Nice place to stop for food. Lovely flavours. Nice bar inside and large outside area. Staff were attentive and pleasant. Tables that were empty ( outside) could have been cleaned more quickly. All in all I'd definitely go back. 😎

A nice place to visit and get a meal from, went here with family for lunch. The food was pretty good, the price was fine and had a nice atmosphere. The place was well kept, clean and looked after. I felt bad for the 1 person serving in the location as it was really just him trying to look after a few people, as such, took a bit of time for the food to come.

I have been coming here for about 25 years and although the food has always been a hit or miss the staff have always been lovely. However recently apart from the food going rapidly downhill with no consistency, I have found the new manager's attitude with dealing with valid complaints unacceptable. The new staff are lovely but lack guidance and are not proactive. I'm sad to say I'm done with the OP and will be lunching elsewhere in future.

As busy as Buchanan street on a Saturday but that didn't stop the staff from being friendly and efficient, during our little snack the staff approached us at least twice to see if everything was ok. We will definitely be back.

Really cozy and comfortable beds. My only gripe was the bathroom was so tiny only one person could go in at a time. Staff terrific, breakfast lovely. If you are staying local I would recommend it

Went for drinks with colleagues and it was rather nice. Quite pricey but the staff were on top of it and I never had to wait on the bar to get served.

Hätte nicht gedacht dass es nur ein 3-Sterne Hotel. Der Service war hervorragend und das Personal sehr freundlich. Das gesamte Hotel hat in meinen Augen einen gemütlichen Charme. Normalerweise habe ich in anderen Hotels in der ersten Nacht Probleme einzuschlafen, denn jedes Bett ist ja unterschiedlich. Hier war es nicht der Fall. Das Badezimmer ist sehr groß und hell. Das mag ich. Kleines Manko im Zimmer sind die versteckten Steckdosen( die sucht man schon lange). Das Essen in der Bar war auch sehr hervorragend. Probiert habe ich den Burger und den Cheesecake. Sehr zu empfehlen. Auch dort ist das Personal spitze. Das Hotel kann ich nur wärmstens empfehlen.

Staff very friendly. Quite pleasant room but a little dusty, cobwebs in shower and the shower head doesn’t fit in the holster. Expect better attention to detail for the price. Feels more like a premier inn room but twice the price.

We were in the bar for a few drinks.service was good ,staff were all friendly and a good atmosphere.

Very disappointed. My friend and I went for lunch today. The seat in the booth was worn away and burst. The service was shocking, my friend had to go and ask the bar person for menus, the waiter was nowhere to be seen. Steak pie was puff pastry and gravy, 3/4 pieces of meat. Everything was bland to taste, no seasoning so the salt was well used We then had to go to the bar again to get dessert menus and no waiter again! Got the bill real quick though when we asked for it! Not my first visit but certainly the last .

Didn't have starters we wanted but my second choice of chicken satay was nice. Steak was nice but nearer medium than med rare. Always get a decent meal. Prices not too bad fot the area. Good buzz about the place. Decent house white & friendly waitress. Eaten there quite a few times & will be back

Food is nice mostly but the buttermilk chicken burger was tasteless and "batter" or coating was a bit overcooked and not quite what i expected. Club sandwich was a bit rough, should slice the chicken more finely and use a better bacon, and a bit more dressing/sauce. Fries were lovely. My son loved the satay chicken and the chicken wrap. Wouldn be nice to offer other ice cream flavours and not just vanilla. Generally Staff were very nice and helpful. Some staff pull down their masks to talk to each other and should really keep their masks on all the time.

Popped in just before Christmas and place was very busy but got a table and was served quickly and efficiently. Food was very tasty and would defo go back!

Two steak sandwiches had to be reheated. Even then they weren't as hot as we expected. Apart from that, it was okay for bar food

Really like this place, however, the Covid precautions are appalling . No contact details taken, large groups of people, none wearing masks, staff mask wearing was poor, no hand gel available, no attempt to control numbers in bar, access to bar, entryways etc. We had our drink outside but wouldn't recommend until covid less of an issue.
