Lovely staff, lovely food, lovely cocktails. From a lovely hotel.

My daughter got married here 29/03/2024 and we were absolutely over the moon with everything. The staff went above and beyond for the bride and groom and the guests. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. I honestly have no complaints. Just a massive thank you to you all!

Classy, very classy. Good choice of food, from usual (though presented lovely) burger to more specialty food. The chefs really know their food, flavours and presentation are spot on. The decor is modern but comfy, well maintained and spotless. The toilets are the cleanest I've seen in any restaurants, I think this is always a good sign of a well run establishment. Staff are attentive, approachable and knowledgeable. If you like cider, the strawberry and lime Kopperberg came out dress with fresh berries and lime - looked delicious. Not sure if they all do but I liked those touches. Lots of space and if hiring a venue there are 3 separate sections. A small (20ish) private dining room/area. The Clarkston suite, 50ish people with its own bar and lastly the huge hall 100+ for weddings etc Will keep going back here!

Was in as part of a funeral wake on 21/3/24. The food was excellent and staff very professional, but we got caught out by the fact you can only use card and not cash. This has probably been the case for long enough but it was an inconvenience. No worries about cards when I had my wedding reception there in 1988.

Stayed at The Redhurst for 2 nights visiting family in Glasgow. The Hotel was spotless and the rooms were amazing. Friendly staff and fantastic food, quite possibly one of the best breakfasts I've ever had! Will definitely we staying here again and would recommend to anyone looking for a quality place to stay. Thank you!

Unfortunately, my visit was a "post-funeral" tea. The service was very good.

An absolutely amazing time. Attended a first class wedding here! It was so well catered for. The food was amazing, probably one of my most favourite coffees, and the best Mint Refresher drink I have ever had! Big thanks to Mathew for his creativity!

This restaurant is beautiful. I booked this for my parents 50th wedding Anniversary. While a lot of things were good there were a few things that were lacking - we ordered a sharing plate of olives with bread with olive oil and balsamic vinegar however there was no balsamic on both plates. The waiter got us this. The rest of the starters were amazing. - the rib eye steak was definitely not a ribeye, also had to ask for a steak knife. Rest of the main course were nice - chocolate brownie sundae tasted like whipped cream and jam only - apple and rhubarb crumble had no rhubarb. This was also meant to come with ice cream and custard , however no ice cream. - hot chocolate was cold. We didn’t want to point all of this out at the time as it was my parents special anniversary and we can accept small errors but there was a-lot I would describe as just lack of attention or sloppy which is surprising as this is a beautiful venue and most of the meals are lovely. It wasn’t particularly busy either where errors are more understandable. The main thing I was disappointed with was I asked at the time of booking for something nice on the table for my parents like happy 50th wedding anniversary. There wasn’t anything when we arrived and at the end of the night they were given a small slate saying happy anniversary with a strawberry each… even a wee glass of Prosecco or something nicer giving how nice the venue is. I would have have happily paid. And if they were more honest of things they had possibly ran out of when we were ordering. We did have a nice evening and the staff were pleasant , this is just a bit of honest feed back.

We stayed one night for bed & breakfast, The hotel is modern very clean with a lovely atmosphere, The room we had was very nice and quite and the bed very comfortable , the restaurant and bar were both nice places to be and the breakfast was excellent and plentiful. The staff members who we met were all lovely and very helpful, an Uber to Central station was £12.50, we would have no hesitation in stay at the Redhurst again.

Was attending my nieces wedding such a beautiful venue. Food and entertainment was amazing. We stayed an overnight and rooms were beautiful. Very pleased with everything hotel had to offer.

This hotel is great if you’re looking for a cosy, chilled out night. Excellent all round. Our arrival was greeted by Lauren who was lovely. She then served us through the meal, in conjunction with Jordan. Both of which were very attentive in ensuring we were happy with everything and we were always topped up with some lovely drinks. We moved through to the lounge bar where we enjoyed the quiz, cocktails and good atmosphere. Colin on the bar was very friendly. On departure, it was lovely to catch-up with Jordan who seemed to have a busy night but never seems flustered.

We ate here as a party of 4 on a Thursday evening. There was plenty of car parking available- mainly because the place was pretty quiet. This is a local restaurant for me and I haven’t been since it was refurbished a few years ago. The decor is good, the seating comfortable and not cramped or over-crowded - although it’s not a huge place. The service was attentive without being fussy - apart from when we ready to go. It took a while to get the bill then we realised- after waiting for a while - that we should pay at the bar. Not sure if this is usual or whether they were short staffed. The food was generally good. I had the tomato soup - very tasty - and the Cajun chicken burger which had 2 generous bits of chicken breast in a bun with a side of fries. This was all very good. I finished with the Eton mess which was tasty too. The others were pleased with their food too apart from the sticky toffee pudding which wasn’t as big a hit. The bill for 4 of us having courses, with 2 beers and 3 soft drinks and 4 coffees was £123 (plus tip) which we felt was a bit on the high side. It’s maybe a restaurant to visit for special occasions rather than a quick catch-up meal with friends.

Had the most outstanding meal in here on Wednesday night, the meal was fantastic the service was excellent. They have a great gluten free choices as well, it is so lovely inside as well. I would recommend it

The food was excellent. There was live music in the bar (Friday night) and it was loud enough to enjoy but not so loud it spoiled conversation. Tables aren’t too close together.

Thank you very much for a lovely festive meal. We were a party of 10 and all of our family throughly enjoyed our food and drinks, including my 8 year old niece. The staff were friendly and service was great! We will be back :-)

A friend and I called into the restaurant today for lunch to celebrate her birthday. When we arrived there were two ladies outside on the terrace and one person in the restaurant. We waited some time and my friend went to find a member of staff to order drinks and food. She was told by the lady she spoke to that walk ins were not accepted !! Obviously they don't require customers. We left and went further down the road to Banco where we received excellent service and food.

The Redhurts looks lovely, nice clean toilets, lovely new outdoor area, but the food is SO bad! It is not fresh, for example eggs and avocado - the smashed avocado is clearly from a packet, bought in smash, the eggs are pale , pale yellow cheap eggs (should be free range and organic) bacon cheap watery meat, everything just tastes cheap and nasty! has a feel of microwaved , frozen meals! once at brunch I ordered my 4 year old scrambled eggs on toast. The toast was soggy (from how watery the egg was) and barely toasted and the eggs were so salty i could barely even eat them - why would they even salt children's food? Wouldn't surprise me if the eggs were from a packet too. Food is truly awful, service slow and poor. Has the potential with it's lovely re furb but the food is so bad that it completely lets down the whole experience. You guys REALLY need to improve the food and actually have proper chefs actually cooking real food, fresh food that doesn't come from a plastic package and isn't pre bought in. Your menu reads well, but the actual food itself is absolutely awful - like AWFUL!

My wife and I and our daughters dropped in as a walk in to the Redhurst for Sunday Lunch. We were given a table in a booth. It was in a nice spot in the restaurant and the staff were attentive in particular Robyn, offering drinks shortly after sitting down. The menu looked great, plenty of choice for adults and kids so we ordered. The starters came and were tasteless, genuinely rubbish and so disappointing. Both ours and the kids were no better than the others. The mains came and once again were very poor. The Redhurst is lovely and a very nice space to eat in. The food was poor, very very poor. Bland, overcooked and lacking in flavour. The Redhurst is a classic example of a lovely hotel offering loads of style, charm and quality in every area but the food. The Chef does not know the first thing about cooking a Ribeye and seems to have got extremely mixed up when making Chimichurri Sauce having served us some bizarre unimaginative virgin oil based mush. £141.00 for a dire Sunday lunch for 2 Adults and 2 Children. We stopped short at the main course, declining desert. We had already been fleeced for the worst food we’ve purchased in a restaurant, this year. We wouldn’t go back and are sorely disappointed having stayed eaten in the Busby Hotel. The Redhurst Restaurant seems to have all the gear but no idea. Give up or try harder.

Huge investment in the hotel and restaurant yet kitchen doesn’t seem to have kept pace. The restaurant environment itself is lovely, service is good but food was almost inedible. Frito misto starter, the batter was very thick and soggy. Fish pie was very salty as it had a ridiculous amount of capers in it, at least averaging 3 in every spoonful. Thai beef salad, the beef was cooked well but exceptionally salty. The only way to describe it was the salad itself was drowning in dressing. Just not nice to eat. Including one glass of wine, lunch for 2 was £43 exc tips. Won’t be back. We had heard all the reviews but wanted to try it as we stay nearby. Won’t be back until there are serious improvements in the kitchen.

Been decades since I've been in there but found myself walking past and noticed it had been done up so phoned and booked a restaurant table for the following Saturday evening. The Web page said that the restaurant connected to a pub and an outside terrace so when I booked I asked if we would definitely be in the main restaurant rather than any adjoining section and was told that we would definitely be in the main restaurant. We arrived and were taken out of the main restaurant to a cramped separate area containing 4 tables. If memory serves me well, it used to be the porch outside the old front door. I protested and the person said he'd see if anything else was available. He came back in and said there were tables actually in the restaurant. God knows why we weren't seated there straightaway but by that point my family who don't like making a fuss had sat down but not happy at all. Service was lumpen, normally in a restaurant someone would appear halfway through and ask if we wanted more drinks etc but non of that and difficult to attract attention from the porch. Food dreadful. Meat was spongy and cold. My duck pie was greasy and watery. Over all a horrible experience and I got the impression that the staff especially the team leader thought that if punters are stupid enough to come to the place then they deserve all they get. There was a smirking smugness. My advice would be to be nice to customers and cook better food.

Was looking for a venue where we could meet up with friends from Oban whom we hadn't seen in many years since we moved to England. I wanted somewhere where we could sit and have a lengthy chat, probably have a coffee/drink and maybe even lunch. I was referred to the Redhurst but my knowledge of it many years ago, tended to make me apprehensive, however, it would be a meeting point for us to head of somewhere else, so arrangements were made. On arrival, the car park was packed (not good as we were first), however I got a space and we went in to wait. The lounge was ideal, plenty of room and a very attentive waiter. Explained the situation and was delighted when it wasn't an issue. Ordered a couple of drinks and waited on our friends who were about half an hour away. My major concern was parking but by 13:00, a number of cars had left and when they arrived, plenty of space. The decor was excellent and the place would appear to have had a major modernisation. Turned out to provide us with exactly what we wanted and we spent around 7 hours catching up so an absolutely perfect location for our purpose. We had a meal in the lounge rather than the restaurant with One vegan burger, fantastic Steak Pie, 2 Fish goujon Ciabattas, 3 chocolate tarts and drinks throughout was a more than reasonable £87. Nice tidy venue, very attentive staff, good food and reasonable priced drinks made this an obvious choice when we get together again.

After hearing so many good things about the “new redhurst” and how good the food is, we thought we’d give it a try! We were all pretty hungry and looking forward to it. On arrival it’s clear to see that a major investment has been put in to this establishment, nice setting for drinks and dining. The service was good, all the staff polite and helpful. The food offerings weren’t very exciting, however we did see things we could all eat. One of our party ordered the fritto misto to start ( a selection of prawns, squid and courgette, deep fried in tempura batter) unfortunately when this arrived all we could smell was unchanged old oil from the fryer( this smell is still on my fingers after scrubbing), so very greasy and much more batter than product. Other things ordered were steak pie which was OK it was on the salty side and pretty wateryamd the head of the broccoli had started to turn yellow , also someone ordered a salt and chilli garlic chicken for mains which was acceptable, also a pappardelle was ordered however it was fettuccini that came, severely overcooked pasta that was white and mushy, ordered king prawns to go inside as an extra, but served very small North Atlantic baby prawns init with a chimmichurri sauce which shouldn’t go near pasta ,an Argentinian salsa and pasta come on !! There was a pizza ordered also which came with bright yellow cheddar cheese 🧀 I wouldn’t even have called it a pizza. Unsure why the investment wasn’t carried through to the kitchen and chefs as this place has monster potential ! Id certainly go back for a beer or a cocktail but I’d eat elsewhere beforehand. Clarky

Qué noche tan fantástica tuvimos anoche en el hotel Redhurst para el 80 cumpleaños de mi padre. Gran éxito debido al personal encantador y buen servicio. Hicimos un buen uso del organizador de fiestas que tenía grandes ideas y una gran flexibilidad en el menú. La comida era deliciosa y una excelente relación calidad-precio. Comenzaré con los aspectos positivos. El acto homenaje alma / Motown fue excelente. El cantante fue un excelente showman y atrajo a la multitud con una gran variedad de éxitos que llenaron la pista de baile toda la noche y pusieron una sonrisa en la cara de todos. El alcance de su variedad y rango resaltado por el final de "bits y piezas". La comida previa al cabaret también fue impecable, tres campos encantadores y el servicio fue de primera clase. El único inconveniente fue la falta de aire acondicionado.El hotel en sí dejó mucho que desear. El lugar necesita urgentemente una renovación, casi esperaba que fuera un poco anticuado, incluso retro, lo cual no me importa, pero la decoración marrón y beige podría estar haciendo una pequeña renovación. La falta de enchufes en nuestra pequeña habitación "doble" también fue un inconveniente. Tampoco estaba interesado en la desvencijada ducha y el fregadero de la "vieja escuela" con pequeños trozos de óxido en el trabajo del metal.Los principales puntos negativos que golpearon puntos de mi puntuación fueron:A) ¿No hay ascensor? ? ! ! Cuando es la comida A que hora del desayuno ¿A qué hora es hasta? ¿Seguro que todo debería explicarse cuando llegues?C) Por último, y lo más ciertamente posible, el caos que fue el desayuno esta mañana. Un comedor casi vacío a las 9. 30. . . Cada uno de nuestros miembros debe esperar al menos una hora antes de recibir nuestros desayunos escoceses completos. Apenas es el Wellington de carne que se cocina aquí. ¡El camarero parecía incapaz de sacar más de dos platos a la vez y no a intervalos muy regulares! Su engreído, no podía importarle menos la apariencia y la actitud no ayudaron a eliminar las irritaciones. Cuando finalmente recibimos comida (75 minutos, espérame personalmente), faltaban varios artículos del plato, la salchicha cuadrada no estaba bien cocida (¡lo que parece extraño considerando la espera!) El huevo estaba apenas cocinado y cargado de grasa al igual que el tocino. Uno de mi grupo tenía lo que parecía un pequeño ladrillo como una salchicha cuadrada. Cuando alguien notó que a su plato le faltaban enlaces salchicha, la respuesta fue "oh, no queda nada". Cinco minutos más tarde, aparece otro plato con salchichas en él: "¿En que encontró uno en su bandeja?".Añadir a esto. . . se sacaba mal el pan tostado y se enfriaba, el té no se reponía rápidamente, no había suficiente leche de mantequilla o jugo. . . . Estoy seguro de que el hotel estará de acuerdo en que esto era inaceptable para algo tan simple como un desayuno frito. Anoche asistí a la fiesta en la calle 21 de mi novia con el traje de Clarkston del hotel Redhurst. Todo el personal fue fantástico con los preparativos de la habitación y Jack en particular detrás de nuestro bar privado fue fantástico. Recomendaría cualquier función en el Redhurst en el futuro. Servicio muy profesional y amable.

Really doubtful when it was suggested we had lunch here today, so yes I may have prejudged...my Nachos starter was huge... too much for a starter and believe me I can eat! Moreover the ‘cheese’ was some processed goo...dreadful, my chilli was not too bad only spiced up by adding the salvaged chilli sauce from my starter... there were 14 people in the restaurant and the service was slow and poor, glad I didn’t go on a busy Friday lunchtime.... won’t be back - sorry! Coffee bitter, how is that achieved?

Estuvimos aquí en el fin de semana para bautizo de nuestro nieto, y estaban muy bien cuidados. El personal era atento y amable, y las mesas estaban muy bien (y encantador para ver 'antiguo' cubiertos! ). Yo sabía que no podía comer mucho, así que pedimos dos entrantes, croquetas de pollo, y el haggis, neeps y tatties. Las croquetas de patata y pollo no eran como yo esperaba, pero totalmente pollo, y me dieron dos haggis, El NEEP cuenta con recursos por unos, y tattie torres, así que no hay espacio para budín para mí, aunque se dio un sobresaliente para el pastel de manzana! La comida era precioso, y todos los demás nos sobresaliente.

Aparentemente ellos acaban de conseguir un nuevo menú, ¡definitivamente comeríamos allí otra vez! Pastel de carne era precioso, muy bien presentado, pero aún menos de 10. No puedo recordar la última vez que comí tan bien por encima de ese precio. También escuché cosas muy buenas sobre el salmón.

Four of us went for lunch on December 18. 2 courses each from the set menu and drinks (alcohol free) for under £50. Good value, excellent food and superb service from Linda.

Was at the Redhurst Hotel for a buffet. The food and drink were excellent and the service was top class. It was booked for 70 but 85 turned up and they catered for the extra people with no qualms whatsoever. Excellent service!

The set menu at the Redhurst Hotel is excellent value for money. We had two courses and two glasses of wine and the bill came in at under £20. The food was good and the service friendly.

Yo estaba en un funeral, y fuimos al Redhurst para sándwiches, etc. Cuando llegamos al aparcamiento hay dos miembros del personal de la señora de la puerta para saludarnos y nos ayudaron a mi madre por las escaleras y la suite de funciones. . Todo el personal que encontramos era muy servicial y agradable. . . Tuvimos una buena tarde con un entorno agradable para una triste ocasión. La comida estaba bien presentada y abundante. . . Los inodoros estaban limpias y frescas. .

Nos alojamos aquí una noche de sábado para asistir a una función de cerca, la habitación era pequeña, pero estaba bien para el precio. El personal era muy amable y servicial. La comida del bar estaba bien y el desayuno era muy agradable. Era una mejor opción que un largo viaje de regreso a casa en taxi, me alojaría de nuevo.

Celebramos nuestra boda en el Redhurst Hotel el 18 de septiembre de 2016 y lo pasamos maravillosamente.

Tuvimos un almuerzo buffet ayer después de mi tío de funeral. El servicio era excelente, un sobresaliente para el personal!

No sólo es el restaurante muy de moda, pero el personal y la comida son demasiado. No recomendaría ya que he dado el beneficio de la duda por un par de veces y cada vez es el mismo.

situato nella periferia di Glasgow a Giffnock, lascia molto a desiderare in fatto di pulizia: abbiamo trovato i bagni di due camere sporchi. il parcheggio è comodo, vicino (5 minuti a piedi) c'è la fermata della ferrovia che porta in 15 minuti alla stazione centrale di Glasgow.

We were given so many lovely choices for our lunch menu, help with decorating the Eastwood Suite, the table layout & individual place settings were a nice touch, and the suggestion to provide a Kidzone play area to entertain the children was a huge success with our guests. The bar staff and waiters were very efficient and friendly. We were encouraged to call or drop by at any time before the event if we wanted to discuss anything. I made a playlist on an iPhone & intended to sync it with the Redhurst's music system but in the end we used their background music as it was very appropriate for the occasion. All of our guests praised the Eastwood suite's decor, the food, and the staff for making it a great day for everyone. My family were so impressed that we've booked the smaller Clarkston suite for my daughter's birthday party this month. We've recommended the Redhurst hotel to all of our family and friends. Thanks again for a great day.

Booked our reservation here for one night. Customer service is very poor. No clue what they are talking about. Receptionist took a really long time greeting us. She was so busy having a giggle with her male collegue first. Overall, customer service is not what we are looking for. Won't be back again.

As part of a large group I expected a standard experience from hotel catering to cope with the numbers. What I received was a welcome surprise as for relatively low cost we had a large and excellent range of food at breakfast, lunch and dinner. Portions sizes were good and the service was particularly notable with staff insisting we ask them to change an order to ensure we were happy and ultimately smiling. The Glasgow charm was quite recognisable here. Good for groups and looked popular with locals and families also.

I experienced a lunch buffet, evening meal and breakfast at the Redhurst and they were all excellent with generous quantities.

I had the Redhurst Steak Pie. If you are undecided on what to have, have this. Just do it. Unfortunately my food was so good I paid absolutely no attention to what other people where having. It all looked good before we started eating though.

AS part of our recent event in the function suite, we arranged a buffet lunch for 80 guests over two sittings, and then an evening meal over two sittings. The food was excellent, tasty, hot, well presented.. and most importantly served with a warm smile and an attitude of excellence. Loved every bit of the meal, and the buffet was excellent... don't even start us on the sausage roll delights!!! (Try them)

Visited the Redhurst Hotel last night for the Kenny Rogers and Neil Diamond tribute night. Fantastic experience from start to finish. We were greeted on arrival by friendly and courteous staff who showed us to our table.There was a complimentary glass of fizz on the table and it wasn't too long before we were served our delicious scotch broth soup starter.The main meal was chicken with a creamy leek sauce. The chicken was beautifully cooked and the sauce was very tasty, served on a bed of garden vegetables. The chocolate brownie and ice cream dessert was the perfect end to a lovely meal.The tribute night itself was fantastic. There was a great atmosphere all night and the dance floor was never empty. Pat Cairns performed his double tribute to Kenny Rogers and Neil Diamond and was first class. He sounded and looked like both artists, had an amazing voice was great crowd interaction. This is the first time we have seen his show and hope to see it again in the future. We will certainly be back at the Redhurst Hotel for more tribute nights as we had an amazing night and the attention to detail was spot on.

The one thing about this restaurant is you never know how its going to be. We have been going for years, and in the original ownership it was great. Since changing hands it has been a bit up and down to say the least.The visit before last was fantastic. The food was truly excellent, even if it has got quite expensive.The visit this week was dire................but the staff are lovely. The staff make up for everything.Our meal start to finish took 2 hours, it was excruciating, and there was no function in the function room to slow things up.It was the slowest service ever there, and for starters we waited 45 minutes.The starters were fine when we finally got them, no complaints there at all.The main course was good, but the veg were stone cold. But still nice quality.The choice of puddings is very limited and not like the old days I don't think there are any home made on offer.The ambiance is nice..........BUT oh my goodness the tables are horrible. They reflect very badly on the whole atmosphere and spoil it. It would not take much to either buy new, or strip and re polish or even as they do on the continent put on pretty cloths with glass over the top. But there needs to be something done as they are a disgrace.So to sum up.................the food is still good, but is usually better than our visit this week.The service terrible beyond word.The tables awful.But the staff are cheerful and lovely.

Another amazing night at the Redhurst Hotel Michael Buble tribute on saturday night was brilliant staff are wonderful so well looked after food was delicious service as always was great overnight accommodation in there bungalow was brilliant perfect for any disabled customers thanks again for making our night so special see you for Xmas dinner and party night thanks again xxx

The lunch itself was very good - home made soup followed by choice of chicken or steak pie; it was well cooked, vegetables were crisp - so no complaints here. The staff were all very nice and accommodating. It was the little things that let it down - toilet cisterns that took forever to fill, inexperienced bar staff left to do it on their own soda tap not working properly, beers not ready when people arrived. It's a shame because I really think they were trying very hard to please. Would I give them another try - yes just because the staff were so good.

Firstly I would like to say how lucky I was to win a nights b & b staying in "The Executive Suite" through the hotels FB page!The suite was beautiful with a comfyKing size bed, a lounge area with large flat screen tv, beautiful shower room with double shower, ample storage and tea/coffee making facilities!All the staff could not have been any more helpful and accommodating which made for a thoroughly enjoyable stay. Friends of ours also booked a room and the tribute night and they were happy with everything also!Having been to a few tribute nights in different hotels over the last few years, I have to say this was one of the best!When shown to your table there was a glass of "Asti" for each guest and although the meal was a set menu, I'm sure it would suit the majority of people. The four of us thoroughly enjoyed what we had.The tribute act was "Soul and Motown" and the guy singing was excellent and had the floor filled with Dancers all night.After a great night we had a good sleep and enjoyed a "Full Scottish Breakfast" with basically as much tea/coffee, toast etc as you liked! Just what was needed before heading home.I can't praise all the staff highly enough for the great job they do.Thank you all very much for a lovely night and hope to be here again soon!

It's just ok. I can't really emphasise or give praise to this place although the Steak Pie is actually very good. The beef is tender but what annoyed me is that it is essentially a stew with a pastry top (somehow that's what most establishments class as a pie these days) but apart from that, beer is up to standard and that's about it. It is a bit dark though.

After a really good first visit to The Redhurst Hotel restaurant we made a return visit with our family. Two sons, their partners and our 6 months old grand-daughter.As per the previous visit, couldn't fault the food or the service. Both were excellent again.My only complaint this time though was the high chair (or not so high chair). The high chairs are not high enough. When we put our grand-daughter in it she was sitting below the height of the table. A high chair should be at the same height as the table to allow the child to be part of the company and not out of view of everyone. This will put us off taking our grand-daughter with us again. Having said that we are having a birthday meal there tomorrow so she will come with us just once more.Please Redhurst, get some "higher" high chairs.

Nice delicious foods friendly service no rush great service every time great value on the set menu really set u up for day and fills u up for hours so so nice will keep going cause it awesome

Stayed two nights here in mid July and they couldn't have done more for us. Five blokes with their rowing lads had a great time. The rooms were basic but clean. Food in the bar was brilliant value and the service could not have been better with Aisling being a particular star.

This is the first time we've eaten in the Redhurst Hotel restaurant but certainly wont be the last. A varied choice of menu and excellent friendly service. Food was very good.We will be making regular visits in future.

A delicious lunch was served for 40 Senior Citizens. Staff were very helpful and patient.We'll probably be back next year for our annual lunch-out.

We visited the Redhurst hotel today as we had a kids free few hours,it is within walking distance from our home,we booked the Restaurant and the girl that served us was first class.Her name was Aisling,first class service and she advised me on the food that the restaurant served.The food was first class,steak Pie and Fajitas ,we both ended up so full,Well done to the Kitchen.and the Redhurst,but my wife and I feel special thanks to Aisling is needed she is a Credit to the Redhurst and to herself.well donesee you next time...5 stars

had a breakfast before driving back home to derby and it was lovely top quality even though I had not bokked us in for a breakfast when first initially booking the room but it was no problem for them to do us two full breakfasts

We had nice we lunch at redhurst as we were up to see our wedding venue set up we had loaded nachos n chicken strips to start both were lovely then we both had steak pie chips and veg which again we enjoyed had couple a pints of tennents lager missus had two cans of irn bru service was great boy behind bar does his job well the bill £31-50 can't grumble with that thought it would be more for the lager but £3.20 in a hotel bar very reasonable

I had the opportunity to visit the Redhurst Hotel, Giffnock last week for a Psychic Evening with dinner included and the evening was a GREAT success!!! I have recently been diagnosed as Coeliac and called ahead to the hotel to inform them of this. On arrival I made myself known and from then the staff were wonderful. they quickly removed the bread roll from my position and returned with a gluten free one which was delicious. The main course was chicken in a pepper sauce, the sauce of which they changed for me to a beautiful tomato sauce and it was delicious. My friends at my table were VERY envious when for dessert the hotel made me the most wonderful fruit salad, all so very fresh and with MANY different fruits in it. The rest of the evening was wonderful too!!! I know that the hotel does 'Tribute Nights' and there are a few coming up and I would recommend this hotel!!!! Go you'll have a GREAT night. I am a regular in The Redhurst, often a group of us will meet there before going elsewhere for something to eat; I suppose this is due to the reason that historically the standard of food was not best.Change of owner, change of business model, change of standards.The food in The Redhurst I'd first class, the steak pie is one of the best meals I have ever had.This hotel is a hub of the local community, providing great food with great service.Thanks.

Feels tired and behind the expected level these days. Key on a huge metal tag!! All very average. Set your expectations low and you will be happy.

Been coming here for years for weddings, birthdays & funerals...........Just seems to be our families venue of choice & the management have ALWAYS accomodated our every need. The prices for functions are very competitive.Last year had the opportunity to sleep there, after a big party & was very pleasantly surprised by the rooms & the breakfast deal was to die for..............Food is basic but good sized portions & great variety. Prices are very reasonable for food & drinks.

Having lived in the vicinity of this hotel for a few years I was slightly put off eating there by its outward appearance, however after a recommendation from a friend I went for lunch with my son at the weekend. The restaurant has a country pub feel and has a great range on the menu, for all tastes. Good value and very tasty. It was very quiet however and feel it could benefit from spreading the word locally. The only reason it's not 5 stars is that we were slightly disturbed by the looped advertising of their tribute nights on the tv near us which burst into life loudly every 10 minutes

Like many other people I frequently drive past this place and barely notice it despite its predominant position at the edge of one of Glasgow’s busiest arterial roads!However, last weekend my family and I went to the Redhurst Hotel for Sunday lunch and were thoroughly impressed by the quality of food and the customer service we received. Once seated in the restaurant, which is traditionally decorated and comfortable, we made our choices from the newly introduced menu which offers good variety and something to suit most tastes.I went for the chicken liver pate with onion marmalade, steak pie and trimmings and the meringue nest with strawberries and Chantilly cream. Everything was as it should be and absolutely delicious!We enjoyed great service throughout from Drew who was attentive but not obtrusive!The only disappointing thing was to see the place so quiet – it is located in large affluent suburb with good access and plenty of parking yet aside from a few friends enjoying a quiet drink and one other family we had the place to ourselves. I am sure once the word gets out this will all change and I for one won’t drive past again.

I was having dinner one night at the Busby hotel and had seen an advertisement for an upcoming Take That Tribute night at the Redhurst Hotel. The Redhurst is local to me however i nor my friends had ever been.As a massive Take That fan i suggested it to my friends and we all agreed to go along. What a night ! Us girls even threw knickers on the stage for the boys. We had an awesome time,the night started with a 3 course meal which was a simple but a delicious menu of soup,chicken in white sauce with potatoes and vegetables and a cheesecake for dessert,we were then all offered coffee but as us girls were out to party we fancied something a little stronger and headed straight for the bar. The total cost for the ticket was only £20 ahead and was so worth the money. The drinks at the bar were fairly cheap and our kitty money of £30 each lasted the whole night. Take that or Take this as they called themselves were absolutely fabulous and the music that played all night was brilliant,the dance floor was full all night long. I would recommend the Redhurst tribute nights and i am aware they do them on a regular basis. My friends and i are already discussing going to the Rod Stewart tribute night. The staff were friendly and made us all feel very welcome. Roll on August us girls are coming back to party again !

Excellent hotel. Value for money the food was lovely both the evening meal and the breakfast in the morning. Good access to Hampden by rail and public transport.

My wife and I arrived here on 30th November for a fish and chips dinner, courtesy of a Groupon deal and we were not disappointed. 2 generous portions were served and the fish melted in the mouth. The batter was perfectly cooked and the side salad delicious. The staff were very welcoming. All in all a very pleasant 90 mins or so. Previous correspondents have suggested the decor looks a bit tired and I have to agree that the carpet , curtains and chair upholstery looks rather like what you would expect at your 90 year old grannys house. That said the dining area is still very cosy and homely.
