Hello, you are still in arrears with your wages and holiday pay which I have not received in my account. I have already reported it to HMRC and the Citizens Advice Bureau.

This place hasnt been open for months for unknown reasons. Nothing posted on their social media or on the doors of the restaurant. Apparently the owner ran off and so the place just lays derelict. The food was bang average anyway so its no great loss. Many better italians that are actually open in the Lothians

Food and service was first class. Very impressed and will be back again soon

Website active, phone temporarily unavailable, Google maps claims it's open but at 7 on a Friday night the place is closed and no explanation in the window.

We had a brilliant evening. Pizza was incredible. The caramelised onions especially. All the food is served with care and attention to detail. Service was fantastic. The restaurant is modern and vibrant. Highly recommended. We will be back!

Pasta was lovely but chips were burnt!

First time in Giancarlos as I live in glasgow, the food was absolutely amazing and the service was outstanding! My 2year daughter was sick in the restaurant and I had to run out with her as not to put other customers off. The owner was so attentive and cleaned up all the mess himself (I never knew he was the owner at this point) count thank him enough I would highly recommended this restaurant and I definitely will be back.

Excellent service, such friendly owners made us feel very welcome. Food was delicious, would 100% recommend to anybody looking for a good, hearty, Italian meal!

Very drunk guys sat drinking loads , vaping constantly which hurt my chest , staff completely turned a blind eye. Girl waitress were perfectly pleasant, guy was way too touchy feely. Pizza was a big sloppy soggy pie .

My boyfriend and I popped in curious to try this recently refurbed addition to Tranent . It looks the part , contemporary tiled open plan kitchen , neon signs , gold mirrors , vintage Italian pictures . Our waitress was spot on - smart relaxed and friendly . We ordered a beer , and three staters to share - arancini ballls , side salad , prawn cocktail , bruschetta and a reasonable priced side salad at 3.50 . The total bill including tip £37.00 . In summer I’m sure the window seat would be lovely but in January it was so cold we both kept our coats on . The Arancini were nice - well made , moist ,crisp on the outside - prawn cocktail particularly good - large juicy prawns with avocado and a very nice mild Marie Rose sauce . The bruschetta loaded with fresh tomatoes but perhaps a little too much oil and balsamic . This is probably the best place to eat but we thought over priced for the location, if they reduced the prices by 10 percentage and turned the heating up I suspect there would be far more bums on seats enjoying this restaurant which aims to be a contender against other Italian restaurants within a 10 mile radius .

Visited this restaurant recently while on holidays. Not your usual Italian restaurant inside. Decor modern tables well spaced. Service very good ,waiters very friendly and helpfull, a nice choice of food on offer, slightly pricy but food excellent.Will definitely return

Just had a delivery food came garlic bread was burn rock solid and cold chips where the same nearly broke my tooth pasta was a very small portion also big chunks of bacon that was hardly cooked meat balls weren't that great either very disappointing for the money at a price of £33 won't be ordering any food from here again.

We had pizzas to takeaway last night and they were absolutely beautiful.

This restaurant is closed. The phone message suggests they're still taking bookings etc but we showed up last night thinking our booking was secure to find a notice in the window saying they're closed due to a structural problem with the building that's indefinite.

Nice Italian restaurant, plenty to choose from. Extensive drinks menu, including cocktails. Service friendly. Prices a little more than you would usually pay in Tranent. Food was lovely.

Great food and staff were fabulous!

I was having a truly miserable Covid birthday. This takeaway meal couldn't have been better, truly delicious food, completely uplifted my spirits and excelled my expectations. The only exception was the tiramisu, not authentic, light but forgettable, unlike the main meal and salad. I'll definitely be booking a table in the future, well done to the chef tonight. p.s. can you have a go at original home made tiramisu?

Just moved to Tranent, popped in for lunch. Fantastic food, attentive staff, will certainly be back. Update: We did indeed keep going back! Since I first reviewed been back many times, it's a wonderful place. Family friendly (we have an insane/evil toddler which they are lovely about), Pizzas are perfect, pasta is great. Staff are friendly, service is ways good. 5*

Great food, great atmosphere, great experience Bruschetta was so fresh and Carbonara was the best I have ever tasted and cocktails were very good! Overall we will be back again in thr future.

First time here and enjoyed our visit. Restaurant looks great as does the menu. Good selection of Italian favourites and the food looked and tasted amazing. Service was a little slow, but the staff were really busy and friendly, so possibly a staffing issue due to current situation. Will definitely visit again soon.

The food and staff were beautiful and lovely. They went the extra mile to help celebrate my mum's birthday. Made her day. Only con was it was freezing, but there's a storm and the doors swing. But the staff did their very best. Overall very lovely and will come again.

A really lovely meal at sensible prices (lobster ravioli and a lasagne with garlic focaccia followed by tiramisu). It was a Friday night and was busy which created good vibes but the staff were very much on it and we weren’t neglected at all. Deffo a place to visit if you’re in the area. 👌🏻

Had a lovely meal here, the calamari starter wasn't chewy and my pizza main was huge. Very nice flavour. An added surprise I wasn't expecting was they started their eat out to help out so our bill for 3 people was £53 instead of £86! Even without the discount it was well worth it. Will definitely be going back again.

Absolutely amazing quality food and service, staff were so quick and polite. We ate there twice in 3 days when we stayed at Haven Caravan park in Seton Sands. I can't praise the staff enough, immaculate inside with open kitchen and great prices 👌

This restaurant is more a cafe style than an intimate restaurant. Carryout food is big part of the business. Our food could not be criticised, it was well presented, properly cooked and priced reasonably. The drinks prices were fair. I would recommend this place to any traveler's passing through Tranent.

What a lovely Italian! Staff helpful food was amazing and fresh. The price is perfect wished we had found it sooner if you are up on holiday try it you won't be disappointed!

highly recommend the stone baked pizzas, the food is delicious and it fits the overall 90's theme. the toilets are clean and there is a neat spot behind the place for hiding bodies.

When we moved to tranent we were thrilled about this place. It had amazing food, friendly staff and they would deliver. However, recently we have only had bad experiences. The food was burned, the desert was off and the service was rude. I am sad to say that we will not be going there again

Not sure what's going on , delivery service is next to terrible, the food was not good hard pasta and the bottom of the pizza was black burnt spots. Such a shame . Not using again due to 3rd issue and a very rude owner.

Friday night 2 weeks before Xmas and as expected the place was bouncing . Had to queue to get in but that was ok. Once seated we were given complimentary Prosecco because of the wait. Ordered a couple of cocktails which were delicious. Food was beautiful ( as always ) but what really impressed me was even although the staff were clearly run off their feet nothing felt rushed and they all took time to have a wee word and check everything was ok . Well done everyone e had great night. Oh and thank you to Giancarlo’s wife for the extra wee limoncello xxx

Ordered a takeaway meant to be fine Italian cuisine, pizza was black around the edge, rock hard, with blackened sooty mushrooms, how anyone can think this is acceptable is beyond me, also ordered bbq glazed chicken wings which arrived with no bbq glaze!! Bland!!!Won’t be back

I'm not the biggest fan of Italian food, but thought we'd try here with the eat out to help out scheme and I'm so glad I did.The staff were extremely helpful and polite, taking time to interact with us even when the place was very busy.I ordered a pizza and loved it. It has to be one of the tastiest pizza I've ever had!I looked at the overall prices and they were great value.Will i be returning here again? 100% yes, and I'm looking forward to it.

I’ve been here several times, and as always the food is very good. However the service was not great. We booked a table for 7.00 p.m. and didn’t sit down until 7.45 p.m. the place was also packed. No social distancing in place at all. Whilst I realise that business is important at the moment, I also think it’s important for customers to feel that measures are in place to avoid crowding. The staff were constantly apologising for the wait, and were very pleasant, but I think they clearly had taken too many bookings. But as I said, the food itself was very good.

We visited this place for takeaway after reading the good reviews. The food was good and there was a wide choice. I wasn't convinced that much care was put in to making up our order. I appreciate it must be very hot in the kitchen but I was slightly unsettled by the lack of face coverings on the staff

Food ok one of our group meal was pritty cold. Service was quick. Very handy if you are staying in county hall.

Food was fine, nothing startling. Chairs very uncomfortable and a bit cold in both decor and temperature, there seemed to be only 1 person, probably the owner doing almost everything single handed...apart from cooking. Not really somewhere I'd bother with again.

Lunch menu was fantastic!, maybe more variety would make it outstanding.. overall me and the wife really enjoyed it.. I personally loved the mussels. Keep up the good work
