Had a nice lunch again. Soup and sandwich. Bread was really nice along with the milkshake.

We organized at the North Point Coffee the 18th birthday of our daughter, who is studying at the University of St Andrews. It has been a wonderful experience - Jane, Cheryl and the whole team have taken care of everything and prepared an tasty buffet dinner for us all. We definitely recommend the North Point Coffee ! PS: love the carrot cake !

A very nice place for breakfast and soup

Visited on 13.02.24. Had a great experience. Welcoming chatty staff, dog friendly, great selection of cakes and drinks, pancakes were delicious!

Very disappointed today. We came at a busy point and were asked to come back in 10 minutes. We came back exactly 10 minutes later to be told that they had given our table away and none were available. We had a great experience at Bibi’s Cafe though, so not all lost.

Used to be the best spot in St Andrews, now it charges extra for GF food. Totally out of touch. The food is good, don’t get me wrong, there’s not denying it. But in Scotland today it’s very abnormal to charge a fee to customers with diagnosed allergies!

Tomamos café da manhã por lá. O local é pequeno mas muito aconchegante. Fomos muito bem atendidos e o café nos surpreendeu. Estava muito bem servido e amamos o iogurte.

Very nice friendly staff and the food I had was delicious, I had the toasted sandwich with cheese ham and tomato with a side salad and dressing and crisps and a bottle of still water and I must say it was the best toasted sandwich I have ever had, it was on proper thick sliced bread that was so warm and tasty, no wonder they were so busy, if I am ever in St Andrews again I would definitely eat here again.

Very good little cafè. Food and drinks are good and not too pricey.

Good student breakfast and the hot cakes were surprisingly good. I was impressed by the hotcakes not so much with everything else. Scrambled eggs were disgusting.

Had the American brunch. Scrambled eggs were creamy and plate full. Meal was filing and satisfying.

This cafe is a bit busy, the perhaps that's to be expected since it's right on a main road swarmed with foot traffic from both tourists and locals. The food delighted me. Though I did not have the chance to try the cafe's famous scones, I indulged in a warm creamy Southwestern toastie, accompanied by a hearty cup of Earl grey tea. The prices are bit high but not unreasonable considering the location and the tantalising food. An effortless air of class and elegance exudes from this place, as it always does from the best cafes.

Great value, lots of vegan options we had great leek and potato soup x2 Turkey sandwich Herbie cheese sandwich, peppermint tea and latte coffee for under £20. Mostly students getting to know each other, looking to emulate Wills and Kate. A bit noisy, but enjoyable pleasant staff and efficient service.

Great breakfast!! Highly recommend!

Poppy seed scones! What a rare find. The texture is just right—with crusty shell and crumbly yet moist interior. The lemon zest and flavor is really refreshing and delightful. It’s not too sweet either.

This is the worst cafe in St Andrews. The staff were rude, the food is very basic and tasteless and when we ordered cake, the size of one of the pieces was tiny. Throughout the lunch the staff paid no attention to customers and were laughing and looking at their phone’s continuously. We won’t be revisiting!

Nice cafe with excellent hot chocolate wit marshmallow, if that is your wish. It is not cosy as it maybe could be, but the crew and the drinks will compensate this. And who would not visit the cafe “where Kate met Wills”.

Busy but they got us sat quickly good menu and had bacon/haggis rolls not expensive helpful staff

Very disappointed with this establishment. Food mediocre and staff looked bored and one kept using her phone despite customers freezing with the door blowing open even though she was next to it the customer had to keep getting up to close it. Wouldn't recommend or return.

Great spot! Good coffee drinks (at some of the best prices in town) and nice for options.

Slightly disappointing. I get the sense this place has declined a bit lately. They've also put their prices up a lot and it's not great value for money anymore. The haggis nachos were a fun idea but came out a bit dry. Nonetheless the drinks were nice and the atmosphere was charming. Just not sure its worth the hype and the queue outside for.

Lovely little spot for breakfast and brunch. Nice atmosphere, great cappuccinos and pancakes. We had the Mexican breakfast burritos which were delicious.

Wide and varied menu. Tea and scones were lovely. Nice, friendly staff.

The food was delicious. Coffee and tea were also very good. It was busy, but the service was still really quick.

Very much enjoyed this cafe. It was a little loud in terms of music but we were to close to the speaker (and we are getting old!). Food was delicious...with a great fusion of inter/national food! Haggis burritos for example. Would eat there again. Recommended!

Very cosy atmosphere with homey food and accommodating service. Most of the customers seem to be students but we were in St Andrews on a family holiday and have three small children. Nevertheless we felt welcomed and the kitchen was very flexible with food for the kids. We were only in town a few days but ate there twice.

Very expensive breakfast for very poor ingredients , cheep bacon and realy bad sausages , had breakfast the day before round corner at another cafe and ingredients were top class and cooked with a chef ..this place needs to get to a new butchers and a new cook , place and staff very nice though ..

Had pancakes that were alright but nothing special. Not the most comfortable in terms of seating and tables. Could really do with a refurb but guessing they don’t mind as it’s busy regardless. Cutlery and glassware didn’t feel particularly clean. Broken glass on the floor that was easily visible. Waiter was fine but didn’t seem interested beyond doing the minimum.

Nice Cafe to catch breakfast. Traditional as well as vegan and vegetarian options.

Compact tea room at East end of North Street in St Andrwws. Apparently visited by their royal highnesses William and Kate back in student days. Excellent generous bowl of porridge.

The scones were tasty! And I thought I had found a healthy place to eat However at closer inspection the ingredients used are poor such as the banana and peanut milkshake i expected to be made from fresh ingredients instead it was made from flavored powder. The orange juice is from a carton and costs 3£ a glass. Was a bit pricey for what it really was in the end. Ä

Wir kamen vor dem großen Ansturm schon gegen etwa 9:30 Uhr Morgens. Das Essen war sehr, sehr lecker und schön angerichtet. Leider waren wir danach so satt, dass wir kein Stück der leckeren Kuchen im Schaufenster probieren konnten. Nächstes Mal! Danke für dieses gemütliche Frühstück in St Andrews mit gutem Essen und liebevoller Bedienung.

Very poor. No sausages, scrambled eggs were runny, bacon was ok and toast was basically still bread.

Great brunch there today. Staff kept things moving despite being really busy and an error (probably my fault for not being clear enough) with my order was rectified really quickly.

Awesome staff, ways super helpful and kind and the food and drinks are always super amazing. I had the pancakes stack and its so moist and fluffy, I normally get one of the really nice specialist teas but I went for the shake this time, and the chocolate was both super smooth but also nice and rich xx

Very busy wee cafe only had coffee staff lovely

Visited for a quick lunch & sat outside with our dog. We both had the ultimate bagel & shared a raspberry & pistachio scone with cream & jam. The bagels were lovely - very messy, but lovely! Plenty of filling and served with tortillas and side salad. The scone was a tad on the hard dry side but still nice.

I don’t get the big deal about this place. We clarified our order twice, they still got it wrong. When the scones came, they had a nice flavour but were stone cold. I don’t believe a customer should have to ASK for warm food.

Fab carrot cake, awesome hot chocolate and a great coffee. Better still it was open til 5, unlike most cafes in that area that seem to close at 3pm

Didn't have long to wait .Food was lovely and fresh .The only thing I didn't like was the tea was Luke warm for me I like mine made with boiling hot water .

I had graduate breakfast and my wife had pancake stack. Both were delicious. Wife commented saying pancakes were fluffy and not dry

Haven’t visited since before lockdown, so it was great to see they hadn’t changed their awesome menu and cake selection. Given the size of the cafe it is laid out well with plenty of space between tables. Staff are friendly, welcoming and efficient. Looking forward to visiting more often.

Loved it, good coffee and great cakes.

Needless to say due to the history the cafe is super busy. Overall it's a lovely wee place, but ended up waiting 15 minutes for a take away coffee witch weren't even above average. I guess my expectations were too high.

Unfriendly staff. A cheese salad sandwich without the cheese. No hope of getting to a seat if you are disabled. This was a corner shop when Prince William was a student. Dishonest advertising.

I wanted to go to the cafe for a quick lunch. I opted for the meal.deal (sandwich and soup) and was served v quickly and was v good value. Would recommend it

Had breakfast two mornings while in St Andrews recently, and both were excellent. I chose Northpoint for breakfast because it is conveniently located on North Street and opens relatively early. Morning one I had a full breakfast with salmon instead of bacon, and morning two was eggs on toast with a side of sausage links. Service was fast, friendly and efficient, and the prices are reasonable. Highly recommended.
