Excellent place all round. Always a nice friendly atmosphere. Drinks reasonably priced. Clean and nicely maintained. Plenty of seating. Pool and darts available as well.

Friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere and the best Mac cheese I’ve had in a long time. A mix of old school pub and family friendly pub.

The Burgh is everything a traditional pub should be and more. The staff and locals could not be friendlier - big smiles and a warm welcome are guaranteed. The food isn't pretentious, but is hearty and very reasonably priced. As an overall package, I don't think I've ever been to a better pub.

Rude staff , Dark place with cheap goods. Awful kitchen. Better pass this and go somewhere else. Waste of time and money. Never see so rude people on my life.

Banging breakfast great price would happily come again :) got a bit of everything on the plate and nothing was pushed to the side. You don't need any extras though the breakfast is massive (not a bad thing)

A fairly standard Scottish boozer with not a great deal going for it other than every other option in town is worse. Nice, helpful barmaid who I hope has a day to remember on her wedding.

Couldn't find a website for this pub, but was quick to respond on Facebook - we got breakfast despite it being a few moments past midday and no tables being available when we first went it. The missus had a hilarious Facebook Messenger malfunction with the staff, who were really friendly and looked after us well. Would have given a five star review but the locals drinking at 11:40 cursing and swearing just took the edge off things slightly. Breakfast was great value and good quality. We had a bit of a wait but clearly made to order. Wish I'd taken a pic of the large breakfast as it set me up for the day well and truly.

Had many a good night here in yesteryear, traditional friendly pub in market square. Cant comment on the food, it didn't do food in my day so progress there. Worth popping in, was most popular pub in its day.

Went to this pub today for lunch, didn't really know what to expect, was pleasantly surprised. The menu had a good choice and plenty of choice for everyone. I had soup and sandwich and it was well presented and tasted very nice. My friend had fish and chips and it was very nice looking and obviously tasted good as she finished it off. Would definitely recommned it and will definitely be back, well worth a visit.

I visited this pub for lunch for the first time a couple of Sunday's ago with my mum. For starters I had homemade chicken pakora - delicious, fresh and crispy batter and it was 10x better than the greasy Indian takeaways that I'm used to. I then had homemade chicken and leek pie which was also amazing! I would have had seconds if is wasn't so full! My mum had special fish which was in breadcrumbs, it was cooked to perfection, it came with a fresh crisp salad, tasty homemade salad dressing and homemade coleslaw - which was thick and creamy. The chef (I'm sure his name was Ray, he was Irish) came out during our meal to ask if everything was okay which I thought was nice. This pub is a little hidden gem for hearty homemade cooking!I would definitely recommend this pub - not to mention the prices are very cheap considering most things are made from scratch! Will defiantly return soon,

I visited this pub with friends when we walked the Fife Coastal route. At first we weren't very sure what to expect but the barmaid made us feel welcome and the menu had something on it for everyone. I had the homemade mushroom soup and sandwich, it was a lovely bowl of homemade soup and a fresh ham salad sandwich with a small side salad and coleslaw. My friends had chicken curry which again was tasty, spicy and full of flavour and we also had burger and chips again with side salad and trimmings. The coastal walk takes you past this pub and if you are in the area give it a go ....you will not be disappointed.
