Amazing breakfast! Lovely little place, good food. Would definitely come back. Shame it’s not an obvious find. Took a while to find it on maps as it’s upstairs

The Angelsea Arms always delivers whenever I go there! A lovely pub situated on a road where there is no shortage of places to pop in for a drink, it stands head and shoulders above them all with its great selection of beers, amazing food (including a very heart and comforting Sunday roast dinner!), brilliant staff and warm and welcoming decor. I have frequented the pub a number of times over the years, but have become more of a regular since Piers took the helm. The pub has refined itself and continued to impress and excel in even the smallest of details. A truly great establishment in Bromley, which will continue to go from strength the strength with the wonderful staff. A must visit when you’re in the area, and definitely one to travel for to be welcomed with open arms.

Always a great time when my partner and I attend Food and Board. We have been many times and the food is amazing! Rob, Sarah and the team are very welcoming and very knowledgeable about the boardgames on offer. My partner has a dairy allergy and they always cater for that. It is the best burger she has had in years so we always end up coming back! If you love good food and board games - I highly recommend!!

Great coffee! Great service and super friendly. A proper old fashioned coffee shop, full of locals and chit chat. The hot cross buns with locally made butter are a must! You smell them the moment you walk in and even though we were only there for the week, we felt like regulars after the first day.

My wife and I,visited for lunch today,we arrived at 12.15,for our pre booked table at 12.30,we were shown to our table and drinks order taken,the same lady came back and took our order,we had Mushrooms topped with haggis and cheddar cheese & Korean chicken strips,followed by Stilton & mushroom pie with REAL chips & Gammon and double egg & REAL chips,all the food was excellent as was the service,we will definitely be back as we have a birthday present voucher to spend,see you in the spring.

Decidimos visitar en base a las críticas y no decepcionó. El tiffin es absolutamente delicioso, piezas grandes y a un precio muy razonable. La persona en nuestra fiesta que no tiene un diente dulce tenía un enorme bollo de queso que dijo que también era muy bueno. Nos dieron la nuestra para llevar, pero la zona de la cafetería sería encantador para sentarse en demasiado Definitivamente vale la pena el bombo 😋

As ever the Thompsons Close cafe team have looked after us with their friendliness and warm and kind atmosphere. An oasis of peace in a busy world.

Small venue, with beautifully cooked, flavoursome food. We had hake, duck and steak, and everyone very happy with their choice. Deserts delicious too.

Lovely spot on the canel, food & coffee were delicious but very pricey! I ordered the pork in a croissant, which was small but tasty! Would have liked the rest of the croissant! Husband said his was perfect. Coffee was great.

Whilst touring around we stopped here for lunch and so glad we did. A very pleasant cafe, lovely people running it , great food. The first thing you notice is how well kept and clean this place is. Secondly it’s difficult to choose from the varied menu, so many favourites.! So pleased I chose the sausage and mash. Never thought I’d rave about sausage & mash but it was lovely. Everything is cooked to perfection with high quality ingredients. Well worth a visit. If I lived nearby I’d be eating there regularly

Hearts was recommended by some local friends and it was a convenient stopping place from home to Thirsk. We had some lovely leaf tea and there own made cakes including a Rascal that was easily as nice as one from a famous larger establishment in York. The gluten free options were also good and not just the usual brownies.

We called in for some take away food. Had the homity pie (cold but delicious) and sausage roll (hot but delicious I was told) plus a really nice mixed salad (you can choose from a mix and match selection). Enjoyed them on the harbour wall on a lovely sunny day.

Simply the best soup and panini we have ever had. The ciabatta panini was perfection itself - perfect texture and amazing flavours. Delicious coffee, friendly and helpful staff - very highly recommended.

¡Absolutamente el mejor pescado de cajón con patatas fritas! Hacemos un beeline para aquí cada año cuando vamos a un torneo de backgammon. La masa es una de las mejores que he probado, las patatas fritas no son grasosas y sabrosas, la salsa de curry es increíble! Este es el secreto mejor guardado de Gran Bretaña, cada vez que hemos estado en los últimos años no deja de sorprender! ¡Sigan con el gran trabajo!

We always visit the Hannafore Kiosk when we are in Looe, and we were not disappointed this time ! Lovely fresh food and hot drinks on a breezy day, we sat outside looking across at the island and felt absolutely wonderful !
