Staff are really friendly and knowledgeable. The food is awesome 👌 good value and portion sizes and options for people with dietary requirements. Frequently had lunches and dinners here. Amazing board game collection with help on hand to understand the rules. Really clean. Great date night with a cheeky glass of wine, day out with kids from as young as 3 or place to make friends it's really for everything.

Had an absolute blast at Food and Board this afternoon/evening, it was the perfect place to hangout with our friends who were visiting. The staff were polite and friendly, and were happy to provide tips on the games or suggestions of ones we might enjoy. I'm not sure how the average time spent there is only 2 hours because there is such an amazing library of games that we easily spent 5 hours there! My only criticism would be that the chairs could use some cushions as they got a little uncomfortable (possibly because we were there for so long...) 10/10 will definitely be back!

Staff are amazing and really helpful. They will guide you through any of the games / events held. The food and drink are worth it on there own, plus the option to play some games make it great a activity when not sure what to do. They have games, food and drinks to cover whole family.

We go to the club evening on a Tuesday. Sarah is so welcoming and serves delicious snacks and treats. Everyone has a great time. So glad we tried it. Recommend it to any and all board gamers.

Really great place to play games, meet new friends and chill out. I've been coming back time and time again since Sarah and Rob opened. Tuesday social 7-10 is my jam and I've made some really good friends over the years.

Booked a table for two via the website without any problems. Came in the afternoon, nicely busy, but never crowded. Good selection of board games. Owners were attentive but not intrusive and were around if you had any problems or recommendations. Coffee and milkshake were good. This was our fourth visit and we will definitely come again. Great stuff!

This is a must visit place, the owners are lovely and will do anything for you, they hold great gaming events and have an even better selection of games to play. This is just the best place to spend a few hours and enjoy yourself!

I've never been to a board game café before, so wasn't sure what to expect. There was a whole wall of shelves of games, and a number of large tables arranged in groups. The couple that ran it were very knowledgeable and friendly. We really enjoyed our visit and will go there again.

So I went here to try drafting mtg As a fairly new player I was dead nervous. The owner and all the clientele made me feel extremely welcome. I left with a huge smile on my face despite losing 2/3 of my games. I will definitely be making the journey over again. Thank you all <3

My daughter and I had a fabulous hour playing an array of games! We were shown how to set up and play the trickier games and the milkshakes were incredible! Such a lovely cafe to have locally and the staff are all so friendly!

We had a great time at our first visit today. The food was lovely and the owner was very friendly and helpful; he helped us choose the perfect games and went though the set and rules with us so we could start playing right away. We'll definitely be back!

We booked Food and Board for our son's 4th birthday party and we are so happy that we did! Most of the guests were adults so we wanted somewhere that would have entertainment for both children and adults. Food and Board have an extensive range of board games for all ages, so there was plenty to keep everyone happy. The food and drink (especially the milkshakes!) were amazing and the owners had organised everything so well. Thank you so much!

A fantastic little gem! Both of the owners are fantastic, really kind and attentive and SUPER knowledgeable on board games! Usually coke every Thursday night before heading off to our karaoke night but would highly recommend to everyone 💕

We LOVE Food and Board and go there not just for the plethora of wonderful games and the extensive knowledge of the staff, but for the excellent food, fabulous coffee and milkshakes the size of your head! My children especially love the sausage sandwiches and when I've been with friends, the chips and guac with a bowl of sweet hits the spot. Highly recommended, we've been back numerous times!

Wow. What a find. A lovely cafe with an great atmosphere. We went on a wet August Day. Over 360 games to choose from for all ages. They offer help if you don’t know the rules of any game. Food and drinks were freshly made and reasonably priced. I would recommend booking on line in advance as it isn’t huge. Wonderful family business…. We will be back

An excellent afternoon spent at Food and Board, what a fantastic board games cafe. The food was delicious and very reasonably priced. The service was incredible and very warm. We enjoyed trying out a range of board games (there was lots of choice) and we're given specific suggestions for two players. I would definitely recommend a visit.

Brilliant find, so pleased to find a nearby board game cafe. Great food and selection of board games and all very reasonably priced. The owners were super friendly and helpful and offered advice on how to play and particular game recommendations. Very child and baby friendly too- plenty of space for prams and a high chair was available to use. We will definitely be back!

A fun and inviting place to spend a few hours, playing an amazing selection of games whilst drinking yummy milkshakes and fab coffee. Rob and Sarah are warm and friendly people, always happy to recommend a game and help decipher the rules.

Took my 14 year old here for a birthday party this afternoon. Welcoming staff, awesome food, delicious coffee and a phenomenal selection of board games. Check it out you won't be disappointed. And you can reach a pokegym!

Absolutely brilliant concept - pay for a table by the hour and play whatever game you want from a fantastic selection of modern board games in a café surrounding. They range from kids fun to adult fantastic fantasy. Sarah, our host was wonderful in helping choose and explaining the quite complex final game we decided on. Three hours later, including a excellent lunch (sausage and bacon bap for me, panini's and toasties for my accompanying family) we all left in high spirits having had the best fun. We'll be back (we have been ... a few times) ... and they now have a licence for a beer or two!

We prebooked in advance and the staff were really lovely and easy to communicate with. There is parking onsite, and it is really easy to find. Once inside it has about 7 table but it’s really nicely laid out with a BUNCH of games, so there is plenty to choose from. I played selfish and dinosaur tea party among others, would recommend. Food was quick, tasty and reasonably priced as well. Tiffin in particular was great though the milkshakes looked great. All in all was a great few hours out with my family. Ages 15-45 all had fun and would love to come again in the future. Thank you very much to the team for a great time!

The Food and Board cafe is the place to head for board gamers in the Yateley area. Large selection of games and a pleasant environment to play them. Add good drinks and locally produced food and cakes makes for an enjoyable place to spend an hour or two.

Perfect little place for an evening with friends or family! Went there one evening with my friends for the first time and the staff were beyond lovely! Best hot chocolate I've ever had and the selection of games was just amazing! if you're indecisive like me you might have trouble choosing! Lol. I really, really enjoyed my time here!

We came for a friends birthday celebration and had an amazing time. A large selection of different board games were available for us to play throughout our session. From funny, quick-fire to longer strategy and co op games and everything in between, it felt like they had it all! We managed to play several new games we’d never even heard of before and had a great time. Thank you so much for a fun evening and the delish Oreo milkshakes!

First time taking a 4 and 7 year old to an activity like this. Both owners were super patient, one even spending around 25 minutes with us explaining a really fun Minecraft game. Ok Saturday at 2pm every table was busy so the atmosphere was fun, without being too noisy. You definitely need to book at peak times though as I’m sure this helps them plan table configurations. We will be back for Pokémon club very soon

I took my 4 year old and 7 year old to this cafe one Saturday afternoon (having booked in advance). We are novices really and so Sarah, one of the owners, couldn’t have been more helpful explaining to us how to play a Minecraft game. It really helped us “get going”. We had some nice food and drink to boot. We picked up another game called Hammer Time and the kids loved that too!! Hopefully back for the fortnightly Pokémon club. A great activity for kids to pass away a few hours, and not as expensive as the usual ones like trampolining etc..

This place is very good, the access is a bit difficult, therefore, you will need your own transport, but is definitely a worth to try and repeat!! We were with our son as an option for half term, the owner greeted us with a big smile he explained how the place worked and the wife/owner took our food and drink order. There are plenty game options, the food and drink portions are generous, the place is very clean, we didn’t book in advance but is good to book just in case. We will back soon.

This is a great little place to go and try out games without the expense of buying them. Simply sit at a table, pick a game, order your food and drink if you want any, then play to your hearts content. Don't like the game, simply put it away and choose another. Love the game, you may be able to buy it as they sell games too. Great entertainment for family or friends. Into D and D or Magic they have events for those too. Want something specific, just ask, if they can, they will accommodate. Plenty of games for all ages, even toddlers.

Visited Food and Board yesterday with my partner and our two young children. We really enjoyed our time playing with the great selection of games on offer despite our children being very young they still had suitable games. (they have over 200) Also the food on offer is very nice and reasonably priced, we loved the oreo brownies. Will be back again soon, thanks guys!

Lovely lunchtime time spent with the team playing true classics like hungry hungry hippos and buck a roo. Really good coffee and great sandwich too.

Came to Food and Board as a newbie, not a big board gamer but really enjoyed my time here. Really knowledgeable owners and also the size of the coffees is amazing, just go here for the coffee if nothing else.

We used the cafe to rent a couple of games for the week, which were a very fair price. The staff were friendly and very responsive. We will definitely go in soon for some coffee, food and try a couple of new games. The selection is huge!

Great little local place to go with the little one. The staff (and I presume owners) couldn't have been more friendly and helpful, offering recommendations and guidance on games. To top it off, the coffee is very good and a thumbs up on the lemon cake from my little one (praise indeed). We'll definitely be coming back for more games!

Very lovely, small family run business. We popped in for just an hour to fill some time and they were happy to accommodate. There's tonnes of games on offer for a range of players and running times so you have plenty to choose from. We played a beautiful modern recreation of an ancient Roman game - very easy to follow and lots of fun - but there's loads of classics too. You can make it your regular haunt or stay here for hours and you won't run out of games to play. No need to feel daunted if you're new to board games, the owners are friendly and on hand to make recommendations and get you started. Great date night or social spot that doesn't revolve around alcohol or phones which is definitely refreshing too. They had a few vegan and vegetarian options so great for a group of mixed requirements on that front. Very affordable at £2 per person per hour to play games with the option to get affordable food and drinks on top of that. Would 100% recommend. It's a small parade of shops with bay parking out the front and on-street parking close by if that's ever full.

Sarah and Robert are brilliant at helping you with new games, setting them up and showing you the ropes. Food and drinks are priced right. Their hot chocolate and milkshakes are becoming a local legend!

Yateley are so lucky to have this new commoditiy in our village. The staff working here are so friendly and full of knowledge about all the games they have in stock. While this is listed as a cafe, it is so much more than that! It is a social hub for people who like playing games. They cater to families, but also hold so many events to allow you to meet new people. The food is amazing, they are so focused on making sure they offer alternatives so that everyone can come and eat/drink, regardless of allergies! Every category in the menu has a safe entry so noone should go hungry. If you live in the area, or are visiting, I would recommend checking out this wonderful place!

I think we're here every week. The staff are amazing and friendly, the food is delicious and amazing portions. They have so many events to meet people, and it is hard to meet people these days. With social games, Magic and DnD, there is something for everyone, on top of the standard board games that all have a relaxed feel to them.

We spent a couple of hours at the Board Game Cafe and thoroughly enjoyed it! We had some hot drinks and cakes that went down a treat. Would recommend it to any group of friends that like board games…good way of try before you buy ;)

This place has only just opened up & It really deserves a visit. The staff are super friendly. It has a lovely atmosphere in which young families were playing alongside tables with groups of friends. For a games cafe that is only just opened up, they have a nice range of games to play, snacks on offer and is well priced. Time really flew while we were here. Parking was free outside & readily available. We will definitely be going back! Highly recommend it. My only request is to have a teapot so I can keep the tea flowing whilst we're playing games.

Amazing service and good prices not only for the coffee but also the time spent there! At £2 per adult,per hour it leaves room to depart the world of reality and submerge yourself into any game of your choosing. Giving families (like mine) quality time needed to reconnect and all within a budget suitable for all. For 4 adults for one hour, 2 hot drinks and 2 tortilla chip bowls £18.40. If you have no drinks or food it's only £8 for one hour for 4 people. And they are certainly not stingy on the caffeine, smiles or tortilla chips and dip! Food and Board is a worthy addition to Yateley and as per my mums words "we will be back to the boards again!"
