Lovely staff, food was absolutely amazing! I had the lasagne and my partner the pork belly, absolutely unreal, the portions are very generous also!

Stopped off for lunch before heading home and the food was lovely. Especially the chunky chips. Just think at lunchtime they should offer sandwiches as not everyone wants big Christmas dinners . We did wait a while for our children’s ice creams but it did seem there was one lovely young lady doing all the work. Be a Great place to visit in the summer.

Lovely evening. As always excellent food - we visited on a Saturday and sat at our favourite table - The Doghouse. I had Harvester Salad and Lemon Posset for pudding. Excellent service and lovely atmosphere 🥰

Warm welcome, sat in the lounge as they have a lovely log fire which I found calm and relaxing. I had the Bacon and Chicken Bagette with Salad and Chunky Chips from the lunch menu. The food was fantastic quality and good value for money. Sabrina and the team are doing an amazing job. Nothing was too much trouble. I would definitely recommend to others and will be visiting regularly myself with friends and family. Thank you to the Chef, Simon for the lovely food and also a big thanks to Sabrina and the team for a warm welcome. 👍😁

I expect the ice cream to be expensive in a place like this and the cafe had run out of many flavours of ice cream and Magnums. This we can put up with - but we were served by a sullen youth/boy in a grey hoody (why does he need to have his hood up on one of the hottest days of the year whilst serving customers, so that we could not understand his mumbling reply to a friendly question?) and who did not even know the words Please and Thankyou. Our rambling club will not be returning to Pollys

Went in today for an early lunch. Only 2 tables were still available and it was only just gone noon. A happy, warm and welcoming atmosphere. Both our choices were cooked well, served hot and excellent value. I have been in many times , but on previous visits I've only had coffee and a cake, which are always fresh and delicious.

Breakfast sandwich was amazing. We are regular visitors to peaks and we always stop at least once for breakfast sandwich or cake here. Bread is amazing, Homemade cakes are good value for money. Lady who runs tearoom is quite simply lovely, nothing too much trouble

This was our first visit to Leek & we couldn't have found a better place to have lunch. Oatcakes filled with a very tasty cheddar accompanied by flavoursome tea & coffee meant that we couldn't manage a cake as well so we bought them to take home. I can now thoroughly recommend both the bread & butter pudding & the coffee & walnut sponge - absolutely delicious. The customer service was outstanding & our first visit won't be our last. PS: Love the wallpaper!

Had a lovely evening listening to the Salty Badgers! Great wine, great beer, lovely staff. Couldn’t ask for any more We both run a pub in Kent and we couldn’t believe the atmosphere and the prices! They were even accommodating for us southern folk! Can’t recommend this place enough, thank you!

Popped in for a hot chocolate , Colombian coffee served in a cafetière and as Eat Out to Help out a tea cake with butter and jam Staff friendly and COVID aware Service efficient, drinks and food great will visit again

Visited on recommendation of lady in village store to try the oatcakes. We both had cheese and they were yummy and good fuel for a yomp up The Roaches. Both ladies friendly, chatty & welcoming. We took a piece of toffee tiffin away to enjoy later in the day. PS: Bought 3 pkts of oatcakes to take home to share with friends & family!

Nipped in for a breakfast the other day - it’s not very often I enjoy a breakfast, but this was bang on 👌 gluten free breakfast too. They also do GF cake, and can pay by card. Will definitely return. Thank you
