Had a creda works reunion there un announced!! Bit the owner was very accommodating and we all had a really good night 25 people !! We will speak to owner again for another .eet up

Not at all good for a birthday party.Should clearly say that children are to leave a 9 o'clock even though it's a private birthday party for someone who is 70 and wanted to celebrate with her grandchildren .The buffet forv£7.50 ahead was very poor will not recommend them for parties perhaps wakes would fit the atmosphere

Had scampi and chips , should have been called chips and Scampi as only had 4 small scampi prices. Chips are very nice and plentiful. some peas should have been nice . But for under £7 can't really moan .

Absolutely amazing place. Staff are friendly food is lovely. Everything is reasonably priced. They also have a bike night here once a month. First Monday of the month for any bikers who read this 😁

Haven't been there for 28years called Sunday ,20th may , been meaning to visit for years only live locally , on my bucket list as they say,still feels the same ,,beer prices a bit more , last time was£1 a pint😂😂 and you could still smoke inside , times change and I didn't serve food ,the two young bar staff lads were ace , very funny , will call again . Glad it's still going , was me n me mates local, back in the day 👍👍

Been here quite a few times with friends. It's a lovely friendly, cosy pub with excellent service. The food is lovely well cooked and presented nice. The bar staff are really friendly. They also do coffee and cake which the cakes look delicious. They also have bingo on Wednesday nights. They have a great crowd of people in. Really nice place and would definitely recommend going. Just one thing to remember it's cards only.

It's such a lovely pub, the first time for me going, we nipped in for a light lunch. Very reasonable price and very welcoming. Would definitely go again.

A hive of degeneracy, serving underage people and drunkards. Avoid.

Saturday afternoon visit. Great food and service from bar staff. No atmosphere for what should be a peak time in local village.

Shame had no milk to make latte but the homemade chips are amazing 😋

Quite a funny atmosphere staff a bit unfriendly We had the sunday roast bap with gravy, the gammon was a bit slimy and wasn't appetising my husband had the beef and it was very fatty . I really hate giving bad reviews, the pub was clean and festive is my positive point I'm so sorry to give this review but it's accurate

It's been a local at a couple of times in my life, so very familiar to me. The atmosphere was good which is a testament to the landlord as much as anything else, well done to the community for keeping it going.

Popped in for a bit of lunch and had gorgeous food. Big portion considering it was on Light Bite menu. Got to see some of the art group at work too.

An amazing community pub. Been here a few times this year for food and drinks. Service is brilliant with a great collection of beers and the food is just enough.

It's just OK. Weird that they only take cards n mot cash. That's not normal is it. Is it even legal. Beer was very average and it was like being in the moon. No atmosphere !

A rural GBG pub that is community run that crosses all boxes. The locals are friendly & as are are the staff; their also knowledgeable with their products, approachable & appreciate how beer is served to the individual preference.

We had a very good lunch yesterday. Terry couldn’t have been more welcoming…especially towards Woody, ..the dog. Thanks..we will be back cheers.

Just had a lovely meal at the Auctioneers brilliant value for money was really nice I had the fish finger sandwich with fries and beth had ploughman's we both really enjoyed washed down with a few pints lovely afternoon had. brilliant pub

This is a lovely pub ,spoiled for me by being to cold . Only went for drinks and sat in bar area which is very nice but to cold for comfort.Needs Warmth.

Beautiful country style pub large outdoor area and that's the only reason I gave it a 3, visited a few times and the atmosphere is rubbish, bit clickey and I hate that in pubs, when you walk in the first room every single person who is sitting down stares at you as you approach the bar which makes you feel really uncomfortable, I'd recommend having a drink at home first if you want to have any kind of night can honestly say I've never been during the day for something to eat, maybe it's completely different, they don't have a massive selection of drinks either, and they don't do cocktails 👎 it's 2021 guys stick a cocktail on the menu

I haven't been here for years but i will certainly be going again in the near future. Went with a friend for a couple of beers as you can now and really enjoyed the evening. Lovely friendly staff, a great selection of beers and everything as it should be in a country pub. We were made to feel welcome and the beers are very reasonable. Give the place ago. Ps- i believe it also does coffee and cake through the day as well. So something for everyone.

A previous haunt of mine in years gone by but I havent been in for ages .Called im with my brother and sister in law for coffee .Excellent service and very friendly.

What can I say, the staff made us feel welcome from the very start. After realising we weren't local they went out of their way to make sure we had a great night. Special mention to Janice, amazing customer service! She popped by a few times to check on us throughout the evening and is an absolute credit to the company! And Lewis the bouncer is a superstar, after my partner dropped his bank card Lewis clocked someone else trying to use it and swiftly returned it to us. Brilliant bar and would definitely recommend!
