Following recommendation we visited The Diner while visiting Staffordshire for the day and thought it only right to sample a typical Staffordshire oatcake. Deliously served with bacon, cheese and mushroom filling and accompanied by a piping hot tasty latte. My partner enjoyed a breakfast and tea very nice appreciative service.

Came across this eatery when me and my husband parked outside to go to wilko. We decided we were hungry and ventured in. It was quiet with only one other couple dining it but it was a Sunday and I think they were busy doing delivery's too. Everything looked clean and well presented. You could order from your phone as well which is nice. I had a bbq chicken wrap and my husband had the full English both were thoroughly enjoyed. I've since recommended this place to family if they are passing through leek.

What can we say… hidden little gem… Absolutely wonderful! Food always cooked to perfection! The lovely owner Ozzy, who can’t do enough for you. He works tirelessly and always makes you feel so welcome. The young ginger lady who works there is amazing and always smiley. Keep up the hard work 👍 We love it!

Me and my family have eaten at the diner every Saturday for years. Excellent food and friendly, welcoming staff. Couldn't ask for more! Would recommend. Can't wait for things to go back to normal so we can go back to our Saturday treat and catch up with the family.

It's very cold today in Leek (though the sun is shining) but the warm welcome and great service we received from the staff at The Diner was cheering. It's takeaway (and maybe delivery?) only of course. The Covid-19 safety measures all observed. We just had simply good, fresh, well-cooked, hot and tasty food with a coffee. Thank you, we've really enjoyed it!

Lovel owners, very friendly & helpful. Nice, clean & bright interior, with ample space between tables. Prompt service & very generous helpings! The omlette covered 3/4 of a large oval plate & was stuffed with mushrooms & halloumi...YUM! Less than £20 for 3 meals & 4 drinks, with a pot of tea lasting for 4 cups!! Highly recommend for visitors travelling, or shoppers needing reviving :)

We have used this diner on previous shopping trips to Leek and found it to be ok. This time the woman who served us was rude and disinterested, couldn’t be bothered to listen to what we wanted, almost threw the card machine at me to pay and then when I pointed out that she had got our order wrong somehow I was to blame. Her attitude was appalling. I told her not to bother correcting the order if that was the level of service and informed her that I would not be returning again. What is most disturbing is that she then came outside with another colleague and sat behind us, in what appeared to be a way to intimidate us. Absolutely disgusting customer service.

Brilliant food, great price and lovely staff. We were so hungry and not sure where to go. Found ourselves at the diner. Great breakfast at a seriously good price.

I hardly ever see The Diner empty and the food has always been to a very high standard. Usually I'll pop in for a take away bacon bap or burger and chips and it's consistently good. Well done!

We go to leek every week and while we are there treat ourselves to a nice breakfast or some snack we fancy. We have tried nearly all of the eating establishments in the town but have now kind of settled on The Diner. The reason for this...... A lot of the other places are quite expensive for the same standard of food, we are not skinflints its all about value for money. The milky coffees there are excellent and at £1 for a mug it beats the other places we have tried that charge £2.50 for the same thing. The vegetarian breakfast is really good we have two of those and two coffees with two toast each all in for £11 fantastic.Other places for the same often reach the £20 mark. The only problem we have is sometimes it can be cold. and so some form of heating would be an improvement.... this is only constructive criticism, other than that it is very clean and as the others have written the owner and staff are always very friendly. Give it a try you wont be dissapointed...

We visit the diner at least once a month. Four of us always have the English breakfast and our niece has various meals ranging from baked potato to lamb chops . The meals are always freshly cooked service is brilliant and meals are really good value for money £20 for four of us including drinks. Try it you will not be disappointed 😁

It does what it says on the tin ... provides fast filling food at very reasonable prices. Very clean establishment, plenty of seating as it gets very busy at lunch times and staff very friendly and nothing is too much trouble. You are made to feel very welcome one of the few places my son will actually eat at in leek. We keep going back

Coffee good and young lady serving very friendly and polite. Staff in the back preparing food with no gloves and getting orders missed or wrong but blaming others for their shortcomings

Very disappointed with the service we received. We were still waiting for our desserts at 10.45pm and our table was booked for 8pm. Some of our table received their desserts and three people were still waiting when we paid the bill. These had to be had as a take away. When we asked to see a manager our poor waitress couldn't find one, not quite sure why as there were four working on the night. Completely ruined our night, however I would like to say a huge well done to our waitress Emma. She tried her best to sort our disappointment out.

Visited on Saturday 23rd November. Beautiful setting. Lovely vibrant atmosphere inside. Classic Victoria Sponge was ok. Mediocre. Looked better than it tasted. For £4.95 a slice, hoped for more though. Coffee was absolutely rubbish :-( Really disappointing. Very weak and mainly froth. Cappuccino should have a creme yes but it shouldn't be frothy....and there was seemingly virtually no actual coffee underneath. I had oat milk but that shouldn't make a difference. We were going to go back the following day, but decided against it. For three of us to have a drink and cake with not much change from £30.00, we wanted just a straight forward decent cup of coffee. I don't mind 'complaining' and asking for another cuppa...but I truly thought it would be exactly the same, so didn't bother. Also, didn't want to put a downer on our girls' visit. Such a shame. Invest in some barista training and this place would be truly great. Sorry to leave a negative review....but it's honest.

Whilst waiting for an hour full of anticipation and excitement thinking of the fryed delights coming our way let me tell you energy was high! Gota give a single star review we usually go to Lenny's and we all know what u're in for there basically a crematory in a lay'by. But unexpectedly this was the polar opposite I think this breakfast was a boil in the bag. Tbf it was good but the hash browns were so bad I nearly took them Lenny's to get them cremated Im not sure if it was because it's Halloween and they gave us a trick instead of a treat but u do not boil hashbrowns under any circumstances! And if u did fry them u need some some new oil as the viscosity must be at - levels
