Nipped in for a breakfast the other day - it’s not very often I enjoy a breakfast, but this was bang on 👌 gluten free breakfast too. They also do GF cake, and can pay by card. Will definitely return. Thank you

What a lovely tearoom. My daughter and I visited today, (visiting from Essex). I enquired about Staffordshire oatcakes and the waitress arranged for me to have it with my meal. A great cafe, delicious food, with lovely staff :)

Just had afternoon tea at this newly refurbished venue. It was first class, food excellent, presentation lovely and all served in a friendly atmosphere, nothing too much trouble. Can't recommend enough.

To be honest it is probably the best tea rooms in cheadle, however they inside is extremely old fashioned and there is like an old fashioned smell in there... but the tea is lovely and they do a snack sort of menu which is lovely.

We stopped into Cheadle , Staffordshire for a short break. It was a tad cold and unfriendly on this Autumn afternoon and our place of shelter was just a few steps from the car park! We had a friendly greeting from the ladies supervising this tiny restaurant/ cafe and found a comfy spot to warm up! We had indulged with our breakfast a short time ago therefore a great cup of tea and Victoria sponge cake would be fine. The restaurant is very tidy and has a comfortable feel to it. Other guests enjoyed soups and delicious items from the menu The inviting aromas that lingered in the room made us hungry once again. I can recommend this little restaurant and hope you enjoy the hospitality too.

Hi all Again great little tea room you can sit in the window and watch people walk by from the public car park while enjoying a breakfast or dinner hot snacks. Cakes here are home made and very good too. Service is very good and attentive and nothing is a problem. All in all a good atmosphere and good food. The only comment ive got is that the prices are a bit expensive. All in all keep it up

Quick visit with my brother after seeing solicitors. Great welcome and a welcome brew ! Cakes looked good but we didn't partake.

Friendly staff and good cakes make the Victorian Tea Rooms a good place to stop for a break when shopping in Cheadle.

Popped in for evening beer. Community run traditional pub. Worth knowing it is cash free / card only.

Coffee good and young lady serving very friendly and polite. Staff in the back preparing food with no gloves and getting orders missed or wrong but blaming others for their shortcomings

My friend had booked myself and another friend in for dinner here for our birthdays. We asked for bread and olives for the table as a starter, this was served with just 2 pieces of bread and there were 3 of us so we asked for another and the waitress said she had asked already and we would need to pay for an extra bit of bread, they also didn’t have the oil to go with the bread. Two of us ordered steak for main, I’d asked for no mushrooms, when they were served the sauces were on the wrong plates and mine had mushrooms, the waitress took it back then came back and said that my friend and I had been given the wrong ones so to swap and then it would be right. The steaks were so insanely salty, it made my friend and I feel sick. The chips were meant to be triple cooked but it didn’t taste like it. My friend had a blue cheese sauce and said it was quite bland. Our table was booked for 7pm and we were informed a few days before that quiz night starts at 8pm. This was fine and it was good to be informed beforehand but we hadn’t considered how loud it would be, the music during the meal was loud and the microphone was the quiz was also super loud so we couldn’t hear each other speak. My friend asked for something to be taken off the bill due to the poor steaks, the lady who sorted this out was great and very apologetic, she was very helpful in sorting it out, the waitress we had was also lovely. It seemed to be an issue with the chef. We hardly ate our meals and got McDonalds on the way home because we were so hungry. I would go back there sadly.

They were very busy when we were there so service was lacking, a lot of tables were not cleared, the scones were dry and the coffee was not very good. A beautiful old tea house though.
