The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in Shropshire West Midlands

Decided to visit this venue for a quick drink, we where allocated a table and told that our order would be taken. Having waited a while we approached a member of staff to be told the order had to be taken by another member of staff. After a further wait the order for three drinks was taken, on arrival of the drinks one of our requests was wrong, this is not a cheap place for a drink and the service was lacking.

Una pequeña joya, escondida a plena vista, solo descubrió este lugar el mes pasado, he conducido más allá de la carretera durante años y no sabía que estaba allí. La comida es excelente, el personal es amable y eficiente, los precios son razonables. Tan feliz que lo encontré.

Quiet little pub with a good selection of real ales. Dog friendly and well worth walking up the steep Cartway to get here!

We arrived as we'd seen online it had good cask beer, before we could even order a drink in this empty pub the manager I'm guessing banished us to a cramped backroom because we had children with us, even though the pub was empty, obviously not a very family friendly pub. Our baby made the slightest cry and he just gave us a look and put the music on. Wasn't made to feel very welcome at all, will never return.

A lovely welcome from Jemma, who oversaw our evening. We were a party of 25 celebrating an 18th birthday. Food was excellent, better than I had expected and great value. Portion size sensible. I had the macaroni cheese with bacon and felt it had been prepared locally as opposed to being factory made. All 6 on my table including 2 children thought their dinners good. For such a large group service was speedy, and table clearing timely. I felt no pressure to rush. Puddings went down well and the mini pudding with a coffee was thought particularly good. A special mention for Jemma as she managed to keep records such that bill payment was easy even though we paid in twos and small groups for what we had had. Good value nice pub grub well served.

Tbh we had heard great reviews about this pub. But we visited on Weds dinner time and we were not Impressed tbh. Told to find a table and sit at it, most were reserved or either sat at. App crashed twice on us to order, so went to the bar, the girl was really unhelpful I found and trying to explain what I wanted was hard work. No fish either so had to order something different. Wife had the gammon and wasn’t impressed with it at all. The x2 beers the young girl poured us were terrible, more froth and head than anything. No carvery until after 1:30pm We won’t be rushing back here for anything soon sorry. It’s a shame as the starling bird in Aber which is the same company is brilliant.

Great people, always welcoming, food good and drinks good too. Some ppl on here have written unpleasant things about one staff member, leonie as far as we are concerned they are talking rubbish, All the young ladies there are bright and happy they greet with a smile and exchange a few words with you, especially Leonie. The place is run well it clean and staff work hard to get it right. 10/10

Extremely dissapointed service poor food luke warm. Complaint not taken seriously service non existing. If the waiter had bothered to ask I would have told them food was luke warm, presentation poor. Extremely salty.

i found the atmosphere good the bar maid was fab just a pleasant little pub with walkers coming in during the day to wet their whistle even the locals were colourful

Well,well, try and get better than this Sunday lunch, hot plates, hot food ,this team are certainly going in the right direction ,this was a treat from my wife for my birthday, keep this standard up, and this will be our regular Sunday lunch.

Has really gone down hill twice I’ve been there recently and they forget to bring some of the order out when u ask they don’t bother sorting it will be going elsewhere from now on this is definitely one of the cafes they should shut down

Fui a cenar Navidad por primera vez saliendo a cenar Navidad. El personal era muy amable y servicial. El lugar está muy limpio y los baños La comida estaba bien no hay mucha verdura, no lo que yo llamo una cena de Navidad tradicional. Mucho puré. Aparentemente las papas asadas chirivías y cerdos en mantas vienen como extras. Por 60 libras cada uno un poco caro. Eso fue por 3 platos. Me gustaría agradecer al personal por renunciar a su Navidad para servirnos.

No complaints about the food, staff or setting but the place is full of bloody dogs. Why do people think that it is appropriate to have their stinking animals sprawl where food is being served.

The approach to this Starbucks is a car park thst is littered with potholes. Some of them so big they could be termed pits. It is a poor start to a oretty underwhelming coffee shop. It is depressingly dowdy, not very busy and staffed by two baristas who looked fairly bored withe life behind the counter. On the plus side it was clean and the drinks were fairly good. Until it has an upgrade i won't rush back.

Indifferent service, no consistency in drinks orders tonics and gin changed despite ordering the same. Very young inexperienced staff who seemed to lack supervision which spoilt what would otherwise have been a nice experience.
