The service here was lovely as per usual, the food was absolutely lovely, it was a little bit slow but that was okay as they let us know when we got here

The staff were very friendly. It took a while for the food to come out as it was slightly busy but the food was worth the wait.

Easy booking online and changing the table time via a call. On arrival we had a lovely welcome and found our table to be clean and well organised. 3 of us ordered a carvery, the staff at the carvery were friendly and working quickly to serve everyone. Only feedback we would share was the beef was very tough and not edible but the Turkey and Gammon was wonderful

Hadn't booked but they fitted our party of 8 in no problem. All the staff we friendly and they took the time to talk to the both my grandkids which was lovely, one lady even got my grandson to eat all his food with a promise of a high 5. We had a mixture of food from carvery, burgers and hunters chicken and kids meals. all came out hot, the portion sizes were lovely, enough to fit in puds. the sherry trifle cheesecake was light and the rocky road sundaes were amazing. thank you The Featherbed team you never fail to disappoint.

The featherbed was warm and welcoming. We had booked a table which had been reserved and upon arrival we were quickly shown to it. We ordered drinks and sat chatting before ordering. We were never rushed. It was my birthday and wee were celebrating with friends. My husband and I had the carvery which we both enjoy and one of the reasons we go to the featherbed. The vegetables looked fresh and appetising even under the heated lights. Our foreign friends had off the main menu again they enjoyed their meals even though they were meals neither had tried before. Again I thank you for this. After eating we had more drinks and sat chatting. We were never rushed or made to feel we needed to move on to free up the table. The staff were very pleasant and happy. The atmosphere of the place was happy which contributed to our evening. I can't thank you enough or praise the staff enough. A staff member who's name I'm sorry I don't remember offered to take our photograph as one of us was taking photos and therfore not in the photo. This was a record of the event and as I have said staff were again helpful. Thank you

Visited the featherbed last week, food was beautiful and service was great especially the lady that served me I think her name was Janice, lovely lady and a really credit to the company, definitely will be back again

We came here as a work group for an evening meal out. We all enjoyed the carvery, some chose the vegetarian carvery option. Everyone commented on how lovely the food was and it was hot. We were made to feel welcome and were checked upon during the meal. Highly recommend a visit.

The food was spot on. I enjoyed my vegetarian carvery very much and my sticky toffee pudding was delicious. Ordering online was so easy and service was quick and friendly. It’s a lovely, spacious pub and the atmosphere was good.

Beautiful meal . We felt very welcomed as we entered and the lady who served us “jade” was very friendly and welcomed us with a smile on her face , was happy to chat to us and spend time making my elderly disabled mother feel comfortable which was a massive help as she doesn’t always feel comfortable in public places. The food was lovely , a good choice of menu and hot . As we sat having our meal I noticed how other guests were welcomed and always said a thank you and good bye to when leaving which I think is a nice way to be treated , will definitely be returning with my family thank you so much jade and staff at the featherbed x

We have just moved into the area and we decided to try the carvery at the Featherbed. We can honestly say that the experience was one of the best we have had for awhile! The food was delicious. All cooked to perfection!! We enjoyed the food so much that we decided to have a dessert too! The staff were all so friendly and worked hard to ensure everything went smoothly. A big shout out to the Manageress ...she knows how to run a pub restaurant! We are taking some of the family here this week.

Went here for mothers day and it was amazing food my husband said he could of even licked the plate after. Carvery was nice and hot and my other 2 children had burger and fries they come out fast and very hot and was loved by my fussy children.

Great staff always welcoming along with a great carvery. We popped in whilst visiting our favourite vape store next door - Salop Vapes. The menu is decent and always pretty quick to be served. A good range of beers as well.

We often pop up for drinks as a couple and recently went with family too. Lovely local family pub setting with friendly staff and a nice atmosphere. Haven't had the carvery in a while but it's always been lovely before and it always smells good now! Thanks and see you again soon.

Always a family fave to come for tea here (my kids always ask to come!). Lots of choice (wish there were a few more vegan options!) and prices fair. Staff are always smiley and chatty with us so we’ll always come back.

My friend and I were looking forward to going to the Featherbed for a carvery. The reviews were good. Unfortunately, our experience was not a good one. It was not a friendly environment, no-one greeted us as we waited at the counter to be seated for a table as the sign said. We then went to the bar, paid for our food then went to find a table. The carvery was not great. I was given a piece of gammon, not much bigger than a 50p piece and a few scraps. I though it was some kind of joke. The roast potatoes were rock hard as were the peas. The overall taste was bland. For almost £10 this was not worth it at all compared to other places we have been to. Not a pleasant experience and won't be returning.

We booked in here for Sunday lunch to celebrate my husband’s birthday, a party of 12. Most of us ordered the carvery and we weren’t disappointed! There was a choice of 4 meats plus a decent selection of veg/potato choices. I particularly liked the red cabbage and the dauphinois potatoes .. so yummy. Very good value for money. Service was good, efficient, timely and you could see the staff were keeping on top of refilling the carvery options even though it was a busy Sunday lunchtime. Thanks very much.. Decided to try the carvery on a Saturday evening, yorkshire pudding and roast potatoes were absolutely rock hard, could not cut either, needed a steak knife to get through. Vegetables looked like they had been waiting around from lunchtime. Very disappointing

We came for a sunday carvery and were greeted by a friendly and helpful team. We had a delicious roast dinner and left feeling stuffed. The team were super attentive and extremely considerate regarding allergies, we will definitely be returning!

Ordered for myself partner and son. Kids meal was not worth the money being served with instant mash when potatoes are being served as part of the carvery. Burgers were very dry and not as described at all. Cowboy burger the burgers were hard and over done and hardly any sauce. Bbq chicken burger was more batter than chicken and cheese slices was a slice. The bbq sauce barely covered a quarter of the burger and tasteless. Chips were served cold and hard like they'd been sat there for ages. We went in for a carvery at half 5 ish and decided against it as it looked dry as if it had been sat there since lunch time. Definitely not worth the money we spent and we had blue light discount! Best part of the meal was the Pepsi hence the 1 star.

The food was over cooked, tartar sauce was spongey, none of our meals were cooked to standard. The fish was rubbery, chicken tasted like it had been double cooked it was so rubbery. We won’t be returning.
