Popped in for coffee and toast this morning, Adam made us amazing mocha cortados, all the staff very happy, lots of coffee shops in Shrewsbury, we really like the feel in this shop, it maybe a large chain but was where treated like friends and locals.

Costa Coffee always arrives in good time and is hot or at least warm when it gets here.

He was efficient and even drove up to the building instead of me having to walk out to meet!

no issues with delivery. Issue is with Costa. I ordered a bubble tea but the straw was too small and so ended up having to get a spoon to have the bubbles. Not a great first experience of a bubble tea!

They didn’t have something I ordered so they rang me up and offered me an alternative witch was lovely definitely order again

ordered from Costa and arrived in 20mins coffee was very hot and iced drink was really cold wrap was lovely and warm and flat bread was lovely too .. really excellent all round 👏 very happy 😀

Unfortunately the latte my husband ordered didn't have the syrup we paid for. Otherwise order was okay and as expected.

Usually from a larger business, we have found the food or drink to fall short in some way. Today our Costa delivery was spot on. Food and drink was hot, as ordered and compared to what we would have if we ordered in-store.

The new manager has made an amazing difference to this particular Costa. Staff are friendly and always a pleasant atmosphere. Customets are greeted and last orders are always remembered. Brilliant service😊

I was sent 4 standard mince pies, but I’d ordered 4 GLUTEN FREE. Fortunately I am aware that the gluten free come in a sealed packet, so we did not eat them. If I wasn’t aware of this, I would’ve ended up in hospital!

So this was my 95th in the UK Costa coffee house today 26/10 /23 ( some ppl collect stamps i do Costa coffee shops 😀) and must say my best so far , such a lovely atmosphere and warm welcome by the 2 staff members that served me , very nice cosy place too enjoy a great hand crafted coffee ☕, wish i had asked the first name of one staff member in particular as she was amazing even though I was boring her with how much I love Costa and my quest to get to 100 she stayed very professional throughout 👏 👍, also did Oswestry today so am on 96 No crisis just Costa living 😆 😂

Staff as miserable as sin, don’t listen to what you order. Try a different Costa if you want Costa coffee or go elsewhere

Terrible. Service slow. Not even busy when we went in and staff sitting down chatting. No loo roll in toilet, no hand-wash, and the toilet needed a deep clean. Quite frankly, this is the worst costa we have ever visited. Not impressed.

No outside seating staff chatting amongst themselves, I'm assuming it's a franchise as it was so un costa like

Nothing to do with the driver , they were on time , but the tea and coffee i ordered tasted horrible like it had been left out for days

Never open when it says it should be. Have been to Shrewsbury on 2 ocassions and both times on a Sunday morning we have arrived at 8.10 am and it has been closed with no sign of life. Opening times state 8-4!

Went today Friday 11th August about 4pm, ordered two coffee's to sit in, staff member asked if he could put them in take away cups , yes that's fine I said, we sat down to be told at 4.25 they were closing, I said it says on the door open until 6pm, if I was told of the early close before ordering or a note on the door would not have gone there, very disappointing will not be going back,

Lovely toastie, Good selection of dairy free milk and friendly staff. Nice atmosphere not too loud. Nice place to go for lunch as not far from work

This Costa is in a beautiful old building, but it's long and thin, the back of the shop has no windows, it's a bit dinghy.

Did not receive drinks waited a hour for them still haven’t got them

Visit quite a lot of different Costas and I always have a complaint. Usually drty crockery and cutlery. Today I think the bacon in my roll was not cooked properly and the knives were absolutely filthy. Something needs doing about this chain.

ITEMS MISSING AGAIN WHAT IS GOING ON WITH JUST EAT ITS SO UPSETTING FOR ME AFFECTS MY MENTAL HEALTH EVEN MORE WHEN I SOMETIMES GET REFUSED REFUNDS AS IT HAPPENDS TO MUCH & ALL OTHER COMPLAINING ABOUT JUST EAT X

Quick stop for coffee while in Shrewsbury found this pleasant and busy. Plenty of other places around for coffee that we have used. But we were please to try this.

A little dark inside. Needs more lighting at rear

Regular Costa client in general and took a day trip to Shrewsbury. Staff were friendly, smiley and accommodating, and shop front looks great with the historic top floor. Nevertheless my cortado had too much milk and essentially was like a flat white… slightly disappointed but not dissuaded too return

Always get a good brew at Costa.

We used to visit this Costa quite regularly, but the standards dropped - Pleased to report that all is well again. 2 Toasted Sandwiches/2 drinks

Good for short walks, but far too many dogs.... I mean dozens and dozens. If you are a dog person, then hey, this is for you!

the barrister quinn was a fantastic host and gave me the best chai latte ever i heard he makes the milk himself which makes sense as to why he always walks around with a semi.

Marshmallows were not recieved with the order.

Food was cold and drink was barely lukewarm. Delivery time kept changing as driver seemed to be “at restaurant” for about 40 minutes

The workers were quick and lovely to chat too. They helped me with my drink and made it a 10/10. would visit again

This is not on my drink has spilt eve every where and I shown the driver and he was not bothered!!!! I want this sorting

The menu wasn't updated to what was still available or sold out. The coffee shop was nice enough to ring me to state the meal I ordered sold out and what I would like to replace it with, despite that good service both sandwich order were completely different from what was originally ordered and what I told the staff over the phone. The driver was polite and a bit late but that's excepted due to heavy traffic at the moment. Food was still warm.

I still haven’t had a refund and the delivery driver stole the food.

Wrong order delivered, ordered drinks at around 14.30, delivery came at 16.10.

I am lactose intolerant and Costa have sent me a coffee with whole milk. I am extremely annoyed as I specifically said I wanted soya milk.

Forgot the straw but it’s okay it was still nice :)

Really negative experience this week sadly with a member of staff i have placed a costa complaint in as I'm not happy at all how we were treated the lady locked us inside the building from approx 5.30pm when they dont shut until 6pm

Very quiet when we walked in. However we waited ages to be served, saw 2 people serving. The young guy didn’t even acknowledge us just served the lady in front of us and walked away. A girl was making drinks and didn’t acknowledge us. The guy came back spoke to the girl then walked away again, no acknowledgement. The food machine was beeping the whole time we were waiting and no one went to check on it. I don’t usually leave reviews but we ended up walking across the road to Starbucks where we were promptly, politely and professional served. I noticed that lots of people were walking into Costa but then leaving and coming into Starbucks.

Drinks were delicious! So easy to order as well. The driver got lost and my colleague had to meet them which delayed things slightly but other than that, was great!

As expected ted from a Costa coffee, but the building exterior is truly wonderful as this outlet is housed in a Tudor wood framed building.

Never turned up. A refund was meant to go into my bank but never did. Please can this be resolved ASAP. Many thanks

Incorrect order. Taken back to Costa. Awaiting delivery of our deliver

Had to have my lattes remade as asked for extra hot and only luke warm. Drinks made with mixture of full fat and skimmed milk so made them make the drinks again. Drinks not full and had to ask for them to be topped up. Staff need training better. Even though staff were very pleasant.

Must be the best and oldest building they have, a shame the staff knew sod all about it when asked today, must be at least 100 years old I was told, nice lad but brain dead to anything older than him, why not just put up a sign on these places.

So I order from this place for the first time. I am told they won't give a refund for the missing item that is there mistake as its not been taken off there system like all other breakfast items. Did offer to replace said items if I traveled there. During the storm we have however its really not wise to travel out. Not only am I appaukd by the snickering I can hear in the background but the fact no refund was offered. Looks like I am not going to be ordering with this company ever again. (Inb4 someone kicks off this is an FYI before you buy).

Order AND paid for 4 drinks but only received 3!!! Not pleased.

Very busy but staff were quick and very friendly and coffee and cake excellent.

Paper cups when we were drinking in. No cream on hot chocolate.

The salted caramel brownie I usually order came crusty and just tasted old, it was the most vile thing I've eaten in my life, I took a bite and spat it out instantly, everything else was nice, my boyfriend really enjoyed his Ruby cream and lemon muffin.

Took older Grandchildren in for a treat however the male duty manager was very off in his manner and clearly did not know/understand or care about customer service or how the company's voucher system works. The coffee was good but the cinnamon buns were stale. Will not be returning to this branch of Costa anytime soon.

Good Costa coffee cafe in a great timber frame building in beautiful Shrewsbury.

I went here a number of times in the past and even was pursuaded into getting the app too. The girls working there really made the place work and was great, but the male manager... Well what to say about this rude man. He doesn't know how to make 2 flatwhites at the same time, and even insulted my girlfriend and myself. Will not return while he is there.

Reasonably quick. Drinks a bit cooler than I like.

I am rather disappointed with the attitude of male staff member was rather rude to my friend. She bought food in which upon being told it wasn’t allowed said she would throw it away where we proceeded to tell us to get out abruptly. Not handled well.

Understaffed and so it took a ridiculous amount of time to get our drinks. Starbucks is over the road... Go there instead

No tracking info, delivery time kept going up with no explanation, food missing, food damaged in transit and melted all in the bag, food and drink cold by the time it arrived. I believe the problem to be delivery drivers trying to take too many orders out in one go resulting in half of us getting our food late, cold, and damaged. No way of getting the missing item issue resolved today and so I went hungry. Not a good service.

Writing on top of the coffees wasn’t that clear as to who’s was who’s but we figured it out! A great shift pick me up!

Enjoyed coffee here after a bit of shopping with the Mrs, I had a cappuccino and my wife had hit chocolate. We had the 3 cheese toastie. Service was good and pleasant.

Picked up a coffee to ease the strain of the Shrewsbury shopping expedition

Only grabbed a take out. Polite and friendly staff, but the coffee wasn't great. I like the coffee from their machines, so was surprised to find the one I bought in a shop didn't taste as good. The coffee tasted a little stale, a bit like filter coffee that's been keeping warm for too long.

It was a hot day and this Carmel Iced Coffee was a must have!
