The only good thing I can say about this place is the beautiful courtyard setting. We were shown to our table and after 10mins had to go up to the bar to ask for someone to take our order for drinks and food even though there seemed to be enough staff. Eventually someone came and took our order and can honestly say her attitude was the worse I’ve ever encountered, surly and unfriendly as well as brusque. We ordered pizzas as I understood them to be hand made in the pizza oven. Big mistake. They were rubbery and tasteless as well as lukewarm. Will never go back.

All I can say is this place is average. The only thing it has going for it is the setting outside and the tasteful decor. But the service is slow it lacks luster and you have to keep trying to make eye contact in order to get the attention of staff. They don't engage with the room and check on customers. We ordered a sharing platter which took a considerable amount of time to come out, especially as it only needed arranging on a plate - all the items were cold - cuts, olives, chutney and cheese, the only thing cooked was the overcooked burnt flat bread. There was lots of cheese (nothing special) with a few crackers nowhere near enough to enjoy the platter fully. Although a reasonable price at £22, but for Shrewsbury you need to keep up with the competition.

Fabulous place myself and wife called for drinks, staff and location are amazing. We Don’t get a huge amount of time on our own without the kids but on a summers day having a cold beer in there, it’s truly a great spot on our doorstep Would we go again, hell yes !!

Lovely 'oasis' in the heart of town centre. The minute you walk through the door the warm welcome from the front of house staff instantly pleases. Then you notice the tasteful and eclectic Moroccan inspired decor, cool on a summer's day, warm and inviting in the chillier seasons. Then another surprise awaits when you walk through to the stunning courtyard garden with the lovely mosaic tables, bright cushions, colourful plants. Stairs lead to a further lawned garden and bar with pizza oven serving delicious pizza made to order by the nicest, friendliest young man who was happy to have us interrupt his work to take the time to explain what he was doing. Spectacular views can be had from the terrace over Shrewsbury. Then we get to the amazing food ! homemade hummus, tzatziki, red onion chutney, flatbreads, accompanied by olives, and charcuterie. The Arancini balls have to be the best I have ever tasted outside of Italy ! ....far to full for the tempting homemade Sicilian lemon and almond tart unfortunately, but I'm told it was delicious. No lacklustre performance from this talented team and can't wait to go back !

I have visited here twice. First occasion, booked a table for lunch..We had 90 mins hours before having to leave, plenty of time for a pizza you'd think. We waited 15 mins to order, after 40 mins we asked how long and was told soon. At 55 mins again told soon. At 65 mins, we were told they will be 5 mins, we cancelled as no time to enjoy as we had to leave Trued again 6 months later just for drinks and was told they were fully booked even though there were empty tables. There were 3 of us,not a group. We won't return and have heard similar experiences from Shrewsbury neighbours. Don"t bother

We visited at 6.30pm on Friday 30 June 2023. Great setting and friendly staff. We sat on the top level. We arrived on time and ordered drinks. We were advised that the venue closed at 8.00pm. All good as this info was given at time of booking. Food order taken and food arrived quite quickly after then. Sharing board was very good. Pizzas were very good. Cheese board was a bit underwhelming, especially for the cost. Just passed 7pm, we were advised it was last orders! More drinks were ordered and arrived quickly. So all in all good service. However, the only negative was that the staff came to our table three times in quick succession to say they would soon be closing. They brought the bill before 7.30pm and reminded us again that they were closing soon! To be honest, the food and drinks were good but the constant reminder of the closing time was annoying and we felt they'd had our money but couldn't wait to get rid of us. Would i revisit? Probably yes, but not in an evening!

We had the best experience at BlueBar! Everything was perfect, from the atmosphere to the food, drink and impeccable service. I would highly recommend. The gorgeous garden setting makes you feel like your on holiday and made the trip extremely enjoyable. They have a large selection of sharing boards which were incredible and the pizzas are to die for. I will definitely be returning:)

I visited with family on a sunny Saturday afternoon. What a fab venue! It was such a lovely setting with a great atmosphere. We had drinks & cake, the carrot cake was wonderful. The waiting staff were a credit to the venue, & although they were extremely busy we had brilliant service with a smile. We will be back next summer.

Wow, we walked into this Moroccan themed shop on Wyle Cop Shrewsbury, and loved lots of the home decor pieces they had. It was only when we were in the shop we saw tables and chairs in the garden. What a feast for the eyes. Again Moroccan style, with a 'Blue Bar' and a Pizza bar, both of which will close for the winter next weekend. We just had drinks and soaked in the sunshine in the raised garden. It feels like a secret garden hidden away from the hustle bustle of the busy Wyle Cop street out the front. There is an ancient wa right at the back of the garden which is amazing. Would highly recommend a visit. Wonderful staff too.

I have been here several times with friends and each time the first reaction is "wow!". The garden setting is stunning and the atmosphere created with the beautiful Moroccan theme is incredible. This time we had their Charcuterie Board to share. It had a delicious selection of meats, cheeses, hummus and olives with gorgeous bread. We each had a glass of their Tanner's Prosecco and the service was brilliant! When you visit here it's such a fantastic place to relax with friends but added to that is the faultless high quality of everything. A definite must visit!

I found this place a bit untidy and hippieish. I ordered a lemon cake which turned out to be a huge mistake as it was the worst cake I have ever had. The service was pleasant, but the menus were confusing with various choices of food throughout the week, it said the cakes were not available on the day but the waiter later confirmed that they were. I was disappointed with this place.

A friend of mine did some research on the best location in Shrewsbury for our get together and despite the miserable reviews on Tripadvisor I chose Wyle Blue World. I was so pleased we did!!!! The Secret Garden is absolutely stunning and hats off to Belinda the owner for the vision she showed thru the pandemic in creating it to stay afloat!!! It is not and does not claim to be a restaurant, so I really don't understand the moaners and groaners comments. My perfectionist friend who actually ran a restaurant gave the Moroccan Meze and kebabs 5 stars which is good enough for me!!! I confess we drank them dry of Tanners champagne and our two hour booking quickly turned into 5.5 hrs, which was smoothly accommodated by the lovely team!!! In these catastrophic times for small businesses, I suggest future reviewers consider the wise words of Thumper's Mum in 'Bambi' ie if you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all!!!!! Belinda and all you wonderful Team at Wyle Blue World thank you so much for knocking our expectations out of the ball park!!!!!!

What a find we were staying at Ludlow Touring site and booked Sunday lunch at The Wheatsheaf . The pub was really welcoming warm and comfortable. We were two couples who went for Sunday lunch and we all agreed it was the best Sunday lunch we had had at a pub and really good value . The beef and lamb were really tender and there was a good selection of vegetables all cooked perfectly. The service was good and nothing too much trouble. Thank you for making our first visit a success
