The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in Shropshire West Midlands

We came along to the tearoom with our family who were visiting for the holiday, had lunch and it wasn't the standard expected. My daughter had a panini, and after taking her first bite she had a huge hair in it taking it back she asked for a replacement, and queried no bacon to which she was told it would be an extra £1.50 She paid it and when the new panini arrived it had bacon sure enough...... it was really fatty, she wasn't happy and didn't eat the other half of it. The staff are young and in experienced with the public as didn't know how to address the public correctly, called me love! Food was less than average with nothing adventurous in the salad bowl,just the usual lettuce pepper tomato and Cucumber. No dressing, it was bacon &chicken, the chicken was breaded,overcooked hard with re- constituted chicken yuck- £9 down the drain. I'm so disappointed, we have been coming to this garden centre for many years and I have to say it's the worst meal I've had! I hope that maybe the chef/cook has a more varied and better thought out menu with more interesting things,not breaded battered everything!

We've visited here for many years but sadly in the last few months have watched it decline. Cheese on toast but not on toast just bread, dirty cutlery, crockery, etc. However Saturday's visited was our last. Ordered teacake, which came with dirty knife, we had to ask for the jam (which was on menu), overpowering grating air-conditioning, made conversation difficult. NO MILK, for a pot of tea. How can a cafe have NO MILK? When there's so many shops nearby? Opted for coffee machine coffee.. Absolutely disgusting, left such an awful taste in the mouth. One couple walked out and other couple also said dirty knife and no ham with teacake. Yoj are in an excellent prime position, make the most of it and excel. There are far better places to frequent, Milanos, courtyard cafe, tourist information...

Como cuesta 3 libras. 70 Para comprar por separado cuesta 3 libras. 10 fuego de madera era iluminada, que era una de las principales razones para llamar pero fuego no lanzó el calor. Called in on spec today for Sunday lunch whilst away for the weekend. We hadn’t booked but at 12pm they had plenty of room and sat us upstairs. Great menu choice and price. Turkey roast dinner was excellent !! Hot and tasty. Quick service and friendly staff. We will definitely use again next time we visit Ludlow.

Staff friendly, good for watching sports, decent drink.

A very old English style cafe/ dining spot. Me and my mother highly regard the genuineness and traditional expertise of the food and impression given by the place. We spoke to both the chef and waiter of whom gave a friendly and professional manners. We had a talk about how tasty the homemade chips were. I will be going back there again. That is a definite. Thank you for awesome food and a quiet and homely experience.

We met up with friends for lunch, my friend and I decided on the quiche, it wasn't the usual slice as we expected, it was more like a tart, the pasty was very hard and the filling was quite dry! I ordered a sausage for my dog, it was the smallest dried up sausage I have ever seen. I didn't look at the bill until I got home, they had charged £2.45. I would have returned it, had I know how expensive it was, It was about half an inch in diameter, and cut into three one inch pieces. Dobbie's close by give a complimentary sausage to any visiting dog, if the owner buys a meal!

Es una lástima, habíamos oído cosas buenas sobre el carrovery así que llegó a la 1. 30 pm el domingo pasado para probarlo. Cuando llegué al mostrador a pagar pedí 2 tallas grandes y la chica dijo que ya no queda ternera, no hay problema pensé que eso deja gammon, pavo y cerdo le voy a dar una oportunidad. Había una larga cola para la comida y cuando llegué al mostrador me enteré de que se habían quedado sin toda la carne excepto el pavo e incluso eso se veía delgado en el suelo. Tenía hambre, así que seguí con ella, pero fue un poco molesto que pagara 13. 99 por 3 carnes y solo tengo una. Las verduras eran muy agradables y bien cocidas, daban una buena porción de cada una y la comida en sí era muy sabrosa. Si me hubieran dado lo que había pagado o dicho en el mostrador que solo había suficiente carne para una pequeña cena, entonces habría sido feliz de cualquier manera y esto sería una crítica de 5 estrellas, pero dado que he pagado £ 34 por 2 cenas con componentes faltantes y 2 botellas de pop no se sentía tan bien. Lo intentaré de nuevo pero no iría después de la 1 pm, a pesar de que se supone que están sirviendo hasta las 2 . 30 pm.

Mass produce food but the coffee is ok staff friendly but the toilets stinks and the seats broken in the lady’s . Not clean

What a bad place to go.i went here whilst on holiday as it’s attached to other shops. Whilst in Dobbies I needed to use the loo and they are the worst ever. I used the loos in the Waitrose store attached and they are the most disgusting I have seen in ages .their is graffiti all over the Mirror their was mud on the floor and none of the Hot taps worked .these toilets had apparently been checked 10 mins before hand I then used the cafe after walking around with my disabled farthing law whom was in a wheelchair and multiple staff walking around no one asked if they could assist us when we finally found a table I then had to go and Que for over 15 mins to then be served by someone called Kate with attitude .she did not ask me if I had any allergies but I heated her ask the person before and after me .when my pot of tea was ready it was all Spilled over the tray which in turn then spilled onto the table .

Unfortunately we were very disappointed with our stay. First we headed to the spa my husband went in mens changing rooms and found a group of teenage girls in there so he had to go and get changed in the disabled toilet instead. On to the pool it was freezing cold! The temperature definitely wasn’t right at all we did use the sauna and the jacuzzi they were fine. We then went on to the restaurant for an evening meal while the decor is nice the service left alot to be desired. We booked a table i had to ask a member of staff to be seated after waiting quite a while her response was sit anywhere you like. I then had to go and ask again for a menu as we were not given one, and asked again to order. We ordered the pizza and a couple of sides and were absolutely horrified with what we received. The pizza was that salty we could not eat it the fries were barely warm and the onion rings we very over done, we did ask about the pizza and she just said its because of the ham on it. Unfortunately the prices were very expensive for what the food is and based on our meal not worth the money. Our room was comfortable but with an over complicated coffee machine, the shower was also very tired the tiles need replacing. Our breakfast was ok buffet style plenty of choice but again barely warm, we were very disappointed with our overall stay.

Called in here Wed 27th Nov for some lunch. We had a bowl of Tomato soup and a ham & cheese panani & 2 Americano coffees. Food was excellent, but unfortunately the coffees were very poor, both tasted like a spoonful of Nescafe instant and hot water, at £3 per cup they were vastly over priced. Sorry ladies, your food was excellent but your coffee let you down badly.

Visitamos el pub en Lunes 11 de julio 2016. Los comentarios anteriores sobre el exterior que requieran atención son bastante cierto. Estuvimos allí sobre las 19:15 horas y preguntó acerca de la comida. "Ya no hay comida" fue la respuesta de lo que parecía ser el único empleado. Pinta un rápido, que no estaba tan mal y que habían desaparecido. Realmente no veo cómo puede sobrevivir.

All day breakfast are yummy . Amazing place and good value for money . Nice tidy place. The owner very friendly and polite. And very helpful

Place looks nice inside,but it looks inspired from any other independent coffee shop in Shrewsbury now. Service is good, al happy and eager to help and to make your moment there a pleasant one. But the food... the food is bland, no choices and very, very pricey for what it is! Rating.."Meh" 😧
