Great views in the little garden area overlooking the magnificent River Severn. Egg mayo on Granary Baguettes highly recommended

Well I would like to write a review to include the food, view, value for money etc but unfortunately I am unable to write anything because after entering the tea room and sitting there for well over 15 minutes no one had even acknowledged us let alone served us. There were multiple signs stating that customers should take a seat and they will be waited on. 15 minutes without so much as an acknowledgment! Lost lunch order - we walked out.

Just a quick visit for a coffee and beer by the river. Coffee uninspiring, but it was the garden furniture that caught the attention, and not in a good way! Overall the garden was pretty scruffy, with grass growing between the flags, and random pot plants actually obscuring the river view. But the furniture! The cheapest, scruffiest, wobbly green plastic - ghastly! It all needs tipping into the river, and some smart wooden sets put in its place. With a bit of TLC this place could actually be something!

Though it was evident upon arrival that the staff were under large amounts of pressure to deliver, all staff were very welcoming and apologetic for delays. Despite the long delay, food quality didn't disappoint. It was evident the staff took a large pride in what they were doing- would happily go again

We stopped by here for a quick cup of tea and a toasted tea-cake. The staff were very friendly and the tea cake was delicious and one of the nicest I've ever had in a tea shop. The only thing that let it down was it could have been a bit cleaner - our table could have done with a wipe over and the toilet facilities could do with a deep clean. Of course when things aren't clean people always think, 'well, if this isn't clean, what is the kitchen like......' But this is a simple thing that can be fixed easily - I hope they do!

Travelling through Bridgnorth, we were attracted into the Quays for Sunday brunch. The cafe was empty when we arrived, but the greeting was warm, and the waitress allowed us some breathing room to look at the menu before pouncing on us for our order. The menu was extensive and there was no time limit on any of the breakfast or lunch items. We had sausage, egg and chips, and there was plenty for £4.95. I would return again - it's not pretentious, it's clean, and the food was good value.

Whilst the quays has a beautiful garden by the river, the welcome we got today was not worth facing to get through to the garden. I have never seen such a poorly mannered person working in the hospitality profession and it was totally at odds with the atmosphere that the place seems to want to portray. From the door being locked so we were unable to get in (despite the open sign being clearly displayed) to the rude facial expressions and abrupt manner that greater us by the female member of staff. We left without sitting down as we were made to feel so uncomfortable. The other customers who had eaten said they would never do it again due to the unfriendly welcome. Whilst I can sympathise with the pressure places are put under when it is busy in bridgnorth, there is no excuse for loosing basic manners. Even my 5 year old was shocked at her rudeness.

We dived in here to escape the rain. Well worth it. Extensive menu. Very pleasant owner. Warm croissants and hot chocolate and toasted tea cake and coffee went down a treat. Very cosy decor with interesting historical posters. Restricted headroom entrance and steps down which makes it difficult for some. Beams and huge open fireplace. Clean toilet and when the weather is fine – nice sloping area down to the river. Recommended.

What a find we were staying at Ludlow Touring site and booked Sunday lunch at The Wheatsheaf . The pub was really welcoming warm and comfortable. We were two couples who went for Sunday lunch and we all agreed it was the best Sunday lunch we had had at a pub and really good value . The beef and lamb were really tender and there was a good selection of vegetables all cooked perfectly. The service was good and nothing too much trouble. Thank you for making our first visit a success

Been for lunch today and ordered the soup carrot and butternut squash which was OK, I asked for a brown roll but instead I got boring sliced brown so i asked for a roll and was told they didn't have any but could get me seedy one, that came straight from the freezer I think and was the so dry it would of made good bread crumbs .not worth £7.45 for the tiny bowl of soup 😡
