Desde el momento en que cruzamos la puerta nos recibió un personal amable que no podía hacer lo suficiente para nosotros, la comida y bebida eran fantásticos, el personal era increíble y lo más destacado de la noche fue el saxofonista en vivo, él era absolutamente increíble, realmente estableció el estado de ánimo, no puedo recomendar esto lo suficiente, hemos estado aquí un par de veces y cada vez que entramos realmente es un lugar encantador para pasar tiempo con la familia y amigos, The Elms realmente es la joya en Davenports corona.

Tuve una comida familiar aquí, por el cumpleaños 80 de mi mamá. Las comidas eran muy agradables, el personal muy servicial y servicial. Aunque éramos 31, el personal manejó los deseos de todos con perfección.

Fuimos para las madres 80 cumpleaños familia de 30 comida era excelente y todos fueron servidos juntos encantador personal amable nada era demasiado problema lo recomendaría definatley

8 de nosotros acabamos de volver de tener una comida bien 6 llegamos allí comida uno pidió pastel que era rockhard no podía conseguir el cuchillo a través de ella. Y 2 comidas no llegaron en absoluto. Tuve que preguntar dos veces todos los demás habían terminado cuando finalmente llegó. Bar maid buen gerente no responde

Buena comida y buen servicio. Muy bien decorado para Navidad. Falta un poco de ambiente, ya que éramos los únicos comensales, pero por lo demás muy agradable.

The Elms sigue apareciendo en facebook de maridos así que le dio una oportunidad Fuimos en un día cuando expreso y fotógrafo estrella estaba allí en el jardín de ginebra recién decorado (no nos molestó) Decidimos ir por el menú de almuerzo fijo, que era muy buena relación calidad-precio La comida era muy sabrosa y bien presentado y lo más importante para mí pipping caliente que es tan raro hoy en día! El personal era muy agradable y buenas bebidas en el bar también. La decoración es muy agradable también. Mirando adelante a ir en la noche para el entretenimiento en el futuro

Este es un excelente pub con comida excepcional, pero lo que lo hace verdaderamente excepcional es la gente maravillosa. Todos los que trabajan aquí son tan amables y considerado. Se salen del camino para que te sientas cómodo y cuidada y por eso es tan fabulosa y única. Gracias por el regalo de cumpleaños Dans. Nos encantó.

Vamos a este restaurante regularmente, el personal es muy acogedor y servicial, Jane es encantadora y siempre cuida de nosotros, la comida de esta noche fue increíble filete cocinado a la perfección y yo estaba justo como pedí que se cocinara, recomiendo encarecidamente una visita , oh y Peroni en borrador que es una ventaja

Don’t be fooled by the website not good at all, unwelcoming and really not a nice atmosphere. Booked online through THERE OWN WEBSITE to be told it shouldn’t have let us book as they were not serving food. No apology, nothing. Seemed like all they wanted to do was talk to the regulars in the bar.

A beautiful meal and friendly staff. Everything was cooked to a fantastic standard. We love the food and atmosphere. The pub is well worth a visit.

Went here for Valentines day meal, atmosphere and staff were fantastic as ever, food was amazing and the special Valentines cocktails were top notch, if you haven't been here before then you are missing out, live music every weekend and always a friendly welcome

After booking out the restaurant for a party for my daughters 18 th and told by the manager Jane yes that’s fine no problem all booked come and see me in the new year and confirm numbers . We contact the elms on the 2nd to confirm to then receive a phone call 1hr later to be told party is cancelled ??? Sorry can’t do anything about it leaving my daughter devastated and having to find another venue as we have 60 guests with no where to go? And my wife stressed out!! good way to treat customers who have been going there for over 30 years ????

A secret delight stumbled on this pub by accident lovely looking pub good food and mostly helpful staff Zak our waiter and barman was a delight the bar lady (Tina maybe sorry if wrong) was so helpful and pleasant on a very cold day only sampled bar food but definitely going back for there dinners

Well our first visit to the elms and we were welcomed in to our table that we asked for earlier in the day because we wanted to check they were dog friendly which they are most definitely dog friendly with a basket of dog blankets etc to help your self too . Anyway we were welcomed to our table by the waitress who's name I can't remember . She told us what's what and helped us decide what to drink and eat . We ordered the basics to try a dirty burger a gunniss stew and a few nibbles as there was 4 of us plus 2 dogs . Food came but there was a little mix up due to computer issues which was sorted ASAP and a free drink was given . Anyway to wrap up food good and wholesome. beer good but would be better if more davenports range on tap rather than the usual stuff you can get in any pub . But I do like my beer so slightly biast, it's a shame in my opinion that a brewery pub doesn't sell all.of its beer at its best condition . Overall though we will be going again for food as Its a dog friendly pub which is a bonus in our eyes . Cheers guys hope your beer improves maybe some guest ales too. .

Great local pub. The Elms is everything you could ask from a village pub. Great gang of locals, so friendly. The staff, Jane, Sue, Charlie and others help to make this place warm and a home from home.

A return visit with friends on a Monday lunchtime. Being Monday, we thought it may be quiet, but there was a party of a dozen or so eating at the same time as us. This was no problem to the lovely staff who were great. Tasty mains of steak and ale pie , tuna nicoise salad and lasagne( with delicious cheesy garlic bread) were all enjoyed. Desserts of ice cream, sticky toffee pudding, citron tart and retro classic artic roll were just perfect. Special mention for Jane for looking after us so well. All in all, super food, top notch friendly service, good choice of drinks, and everything reasonably priced. We will definitely come here again.

I attended the Elms with my daughters and grandchildren. We were accommodated to a table by Charlie. She rearranged the tables to fit our group size. Charlie was extremely attentive and engaged with the children well. The food was as expected, portion size was good and all the food was hot. We would definitely visit again based on today's experience. Thanks again Charlie for your great hospitality.

Went for Sunday lunch based on good reviews though only 8 people dined that lunchtime. Service was fast and efficient and the girls certainly look after you. I had the striploin beef roast with all the usual vegetables which were well cooked and not overcooked as in many places. However the beef, while tender, was quite dry and needed the extra gravy they kindly offered. I had a pint of beer that good but rather expensive but the further bottle of red cabernet from Chile I had was excellent and very good value. Overall good value especially if they can get the beef moist. Other dishes were available in addition to the Sunday roast.

What a gem! Our first visit to this lovely pub/restaurant and it won't be our last. From the moment we walked in we were looked after superbly by the brilliant Charlie who was both friendly and attentive. It was Thursday lunchtime and not busy, which gave us the opportunity to admire the welcoming lounge area with gorgeous fireplace and comfy leather seating. The menu is varied with something for everyone. My husband had the brunch meal which he thoroughly enjoyed and I had beef lasagne which was delicious. Desserts of citron tart and profiterole cake can also be recommended. All round an excellent experience - we have already booked to return with friends next month.

Have gone to the elms numerous times and each time have been greeted with a warm welcome. The bar staff are all lovely and regularly check up on your drink levels. The atmosphere is excellent and the entertainment is always spot on. Normally go in Friday to Sunday. I’d recommended the bbq wings or the garlic pizza bread!

So I visited the elms with friends for food and drinks and the hole group of us had a great night. All food was served quick and professionally with a smiley face once we ate they had a tribute act on which we all really enjoyed. This pub is great for meeting new people as all the locals are very friendly and welcoming 10/10 would recommend.

I often come in to eat at this pub with my family and I always experience amazing service from the staff, the food is always hot and tasty and there is always a lovely atmosphere between customers in both the bar and restaurant area.My most recent visit however, cannot be said the same, I came in last Thursday with my family and sadly our dining experience was spoiled by another family also dining in the restaurant, who felt that it was appropriate to kick off at another table and the staff, they even took the argument down to the bar area and started shouting abuse to even more customers who were happily minding their own business. This is the only time I have ever had a negative experience when eating or drinking in this pub and it has absolutely no reflection on the staff, service or the food. I have to praise the management and the staff on how they dealt with the situation, Tom acted in a very professional manner I felt and they have even contacted me since to offer a free meal for us to apologise on behalf of the disruption caused by the other customers.This experience has not put me off this brilliant pub though, if anything it has made me want to come here even more, as the way that the situation was dealt with was very impressive and the follow up from the management I think is a very kind gesture.Would definitely recommend this place.

Our family used to go to this pub often before it closed down a few years ago, we loved it there and thought we would give it a go after realising it had reopened, unfortunately it is just a shadow of its former self.Although the food is generally ok, the warm, friendly atmosphere has been replaced with a rather unwelcoming one to all but the regulars. The service was sloppy to our table (we were told quite abruptly that they do not serve pizza even though their menu, and website, says they do, we also asked for ice cream on a desert and got served custard). The waitress later said she was abrupt because she was busy, but much more time was spent with the diners on other tables, in a more pleasant manner, because they were locals and regulars. The pub managers also seemed to focus on the locals which left us feeling quite isolated.There is quite an rowdy atmosphere from the bar as you move later on into the evening (8-9 pm) which mainly consists of young lads drinking excessively.All combined it is not really a place to sit and enjoy a family meal. If you are a local, or passing for a quick drink, then maybe its the place for you. We left feeling underwhelmed and unwelcome.

Been numerous times to the elms, and every time I have been I've never left disappointed, food is great and really good value, been today to try the sunday lunch and it was one of the best I've had!! Would highly recommend this, the staff were friendly, polite and couldn't do enough for us, food was fresh and very little waiting time, it was very busy and I not once felt rushed (intact the very opposite) very very reccomend and I will definitely be returning again!

Visited this pub a few times now and has always been great. Always a good variety of things on the menu and today nine of us had a three course Sunday roast dinner which was delicious. The pub has a nice atmosphere and the service is excellent, all the staff are very friendly and the prices are really reasonable. All in all, I highly recommend this nice, friendly pub.

As we used to live on Orchard Lane Shareshill thought pay a visit since the Elms has been upgraded and had a wonderful makeover glad to see one of the car park entrances has been closed off with wooden gate makes parking a lot better very nice real fire greets you in the lounge restaurant part service with a smile from all the staff very impressive and polite facilities were splot lessly clean nice music playing and comprehensive menu & desert choice 10/10

i have been here three times now with my partner. Twice for sunday lunch and a pub lunch on a 241 Tuesday.

We booked for my mother in laws birthday and I cant thank the staff enough. They went above and beyond for us and we even had our picture taken and a Birthday card for my mother in law with the picture inside! The food was well presented, portion size was much bigger than we anticipated and tasted sublime. I will be recommending to all my friends and this will be our new regular pub.

Beautiful Sunday lunch,, far better than the food we ate Saturday night.. Would prefer all pubs had fresh cooked meals.. not some of the packet boil in bag rubbish.

Me and my family called in at this pub to get food on the way home from a long journey. The food I would describe as very average and the waiting on staff was poor. They just stood at the bar speaking to the bar maid, never once came and offered us more drinks or even asked if the food was ok.

Recently recommended by a friend, we decided to pay a visit. The interior is very nicely decorated, the staff attentive & friendly & the food was lovely. I’m told there is a lovely outside area but due to the weather, we were unable to see for ourselves. Definitely worth a re-visit!

We had lovely food on our most recent visit but what made the visit even better was the fact that they went above and beyond to find something for my little girl, who has multiple allergies, to eat. Will definitely visit again!

Went with a friend and our grandchildren as we had seen there would be donkey rides. We decided to have lunch - lovely food, generous portions and good value for the price. Donkey rides were free. We had a lovely afternoon and would recommend, will return.

Friends of ours had recommended this pub, so decided to pay it a visit. The place was lovely and quiet and our waitress placed us at our table and was very polite. Sunday lunch you are spoilt for choice with the option of starters and desserts, we both had soup for starters which was lovely, main course we could choose from beef, gammon, chicken or butter squash, we both decided on beef which was very well presented. We then had dessert which was also lovely. Cost of meal including 4 drinks came to £48.

We organised a 60 th birthday get together paying for a buffet to eat with family in the beer garden. On the day , after a week of scorching weather it rained. One call to pub and they said no problem we will sort some tables in the restaurant. We were a group of 15, the food they put on was incredible and high quality and way more than we expected for the money. The staff were incredible , nothing too much trouble , waited on and so pleasant and polite. An amazing celebration because of the hard work of the staff and chef. Would highly recommend to anyone . Lovely atmosphere, can't wait to try midweek meals there.

Went here with friends one Thursday afternoon, had a bite to eat too, which was very nice and the staff were very friendly, the gin garden is lovely to sit in ,in the sunny weather, highly recommend and will be back.

Went to watch a Tom Jones tribute there got there a bit early so we had a bite to eat I had Buffalo wings and my wife had a prawn sandwich and chocolate fudge cake very nice .
