This quaint little cafe is a very cute stop by for some well cooked good scran, stopped by chance and was pleasantly surprised, the food was fast delivered, which is natural with its small nature but is was beautiful served and tasted amazing, good job!

Big spacious café and well populated so I'm quite surprised by the reviews on here. To be fair, there are only 2 reviews on TA this year so probably quite unrepresentative. Staff were pleasant and there is an efficient process for delivering your order to your table. Coffee was very good and there was a good choice of cake and savouries. No complaints, I'd visit again to avoid the NT queue and fayre on offer at Attingham Park.

A very nice cafe for coffee, they have a great selection of cakes. The seating area is large and dogs are welcome. You also get a second coffee for a £1.00, bargain. The garden centre which is attached to the premises is also good value.

Very good Covid19 safety regs in place.I would agree with reviews regarding there always being quite a queue when waiting to place orders.Selection of cakes not as varied as pre-Covid days but understandable. My husband and I enjoyed our choice of cakes and coffee was served in decent sized mugs. However, not brilliant value for the money paid.

I visited this cafe on Friday , having been many times in the past. But I was totally appalled that they had done nothing whatsoever to distance the tables and they were in exactly the same place as before Covid . There were no spaces between the tables and none had been removed as per rules for cafes and restaurants. I felt massively uncomfortable and wanted to leave but as I had gone there to meet friends I felt obliged to stay but was very unhappy with the experience. They had not taken any steps whatsoever to reduce the seating capacity and obviously were only concerned in making money as quickly as they could. Also the yapping of small dogs was really bad, so if you take a dog in it should not be barking and yapping. This place has massively gone down in my estimation and I will not be returning in the near future.

In Salop Leisure looking at motorhomes today and stayed for lunch at their cafe. Lucky enough to get a nice table inside. Stood aside as one of the staff sanitised the table and all four chairs. All staff wore face covering and the menus were sealed under cover on he tables. We had a baguette and a panini, very filling with side salad and crisps. Very tasty. Followed by a brownie and fudge cake.... delicious. Names and phone numbers were taken. Felt very safe, thank you

Visited the cafe today, nice one way system in place, plenty of hand sanitiser and lovely food as always. However I couldn’t wait to get out, I didn’t feel safe, staff did not have any face coverings whilst carry food and drinks to the tables and could not keep a safe distance from visitors when delivering food. Tables and chairs are not placed out to ensure your family is a safe social distance from a family that sits next to you. We left before we had finished. I appreciate these are difficult time’s but many places have these safety issues sorted to ensure excellent visitor confidence.

We visit the cafe regularly as we live quite close by and are usually happy with the service, drinks and food/cake (although there could be more choice for dietary requirements). Today however we came across something we hadn’t noticed before. When you get a hot drink here you can have a refill of a hot drink for £1 which is great. What we hadn’t known is it was like for like. I had a herbal tea but then fancied a coffee, but had to pay full price for this. I think this should be stated on the receipt as all it says is a hot drink refill for a £1. I understand about different drink sizes, but not the drink itself. The waitress however was polite and friendly when we discussed this with her.

My husband and I go out a lot for coffee, and having recently moved to Shrewsbury from Sussex, we have been visiting all the local coffee establishments. We have been to 'Love Coffee' twice and have been hugely disappointed each time. We thought we'd give them another chance after the first debaclé, but wish we hadn't!!! The coffee is the most expensive we have found and not all that good and the food is really ordinary and well overpriced and the noise in the canteen like restaurant is horrendous. It's very difficult to hold a civilised conversation. We were also not impressed with the service. There was one member of staff serving customers ... slowly ... while the rest of the staff stood about chatting. We shall not be visiting again.

What a lovely place to have a snack or just a coffee or drink. My husband and I stopped off here, he was meeting a work colleague for a meeting, and I relaxed on one of the comfy chairs enjoying my hot chocolate, which was brought to me very quickly after ordering! Lovely friendly atmosphere, and although we're not caravanners, I could quite easily see that this is a real haven for caravanners - a big shop with lots of caravanning equipment (and the caravans themselves). Wished I'd known that there was a garden centre though, I would have been in there like a flash - but that will be a good excuse for a next visit!

Literally a few yards off the A5 this is an excellent place to break your journey if travelling in or through the area. Huge car park so no worries there. The coffee shop is large, bright and airy, and clean. Take your choice between squashy sofas or table and chairs. There is also an area where dogs are allowed, but it's slightly to one side of the other seating areas so useful for those who want it, but separate enough for those who don't!

Today we visited probably for the last time. After having a super time looking round we decided to have lunch, we went through to the outdoor play area with our son and 9 month old puppy. I ordered food and drinks which seemed to take for ever, and went and sat back outside , after about ten minutes the drinks arrived, after a further twenty two minutes the food arrived, by this time our son and puppy were very bored and the puppy ran to the inside door , at which point my husband grabbed him off our son and the next thing the blonde Rottweiler who I assume was in charge was ripping into my husband shouting dogs are not aloud in the play area and he said sorry where's your notice , her reply was the management won't let us put one up. At this my husband left. He did point out to her that we had been twice in the last six months and both times we had eaten outside with the dog. Can't comment on the food as we left it !!! We visited yesterday and have done so on numerous occasions on a Sunday afternoon. Usually, service is good, food too but yesterday was not good. There were hardly any cakes left at 3:30pm and once again, not a single scone available. Why does this cafe consistently not order enough, several people after us asked for them. For the last 6 or so visits, there have been 1, 2 or no scones at around 3pm. The cake we decided to have was dry and overly sugary. Our order was brought to our table but we were then told to fetch our own cutlery! What is the point of getting staff to do half a job? Then the floor around our table was covered in flaky pastry-type crumbs, it looked like a greasy spoon cafe. We will think again for a coffee venue in this area.

Called in here at lunchtime on a Saturday, expectedly busy but pleasant service and we were warned of a 20min wait for our lunch. Nice tea and coffee and refills only £1! However you do have to queue up again for your refill, we had a baguette and a wrap, both were freshly prepared with a small dressed salad and some slightly tired crisps. Both meals were very tasty with plenty of filling. Other produce looked great especially the cakes. This is part of Salop Leisure a very large caravan sakes centre with decent accessories shop and there is an adjacent garden centre. Both the accessories shop and the garden centre seemed more expensive than our local versions. One thing, I know a lot of caravaners have dogs and we are former dog owners but there is no signage regarding dogs and it isn't pleasant sitting at a low table getting your food sniffed at, not the dogs' fault by the way! Free wifi plenty of parking and some outside tables. Gluten free stuff is labelled on the counter.

Visited the cafe today, we both fancied a bacon sandwich. But wish we hadn't bothered, the bacon was undercooked, very salty, cold and the fat was white and unpleasant to look at, I feel that it was 'pinged' in the microwave. The sandwich had been 'buttered' tho we believe it was a cheap margarine which didn't melt and was greasy. We did ask for the bacon to be cooked more and tho it appeared with a little more colour, it was still salty, fatty and tasted cheap but not cheap on the purse strings!

We did change our minds as we were originally just going to have a sandwich. The lady taking the order was very patient and pleasant. However, when the breakfasts arrived they weren't good at all. I don't do eggs so I had enough baked beans to feed an army! The bacon was very underdone, and needed a good grilling, sausages were a bit herby ( although the men liked them) hash browns were pale and mine were Luke warm, tomatoes were warm. In general not good. I sent mine back and it was microwaved to within an inch of its life. It certainly was hot second time around. In short I don't know who was cooking but I think they need some training. Very very underwhelming.

I had coffee at this café , the scones on the counter had not been covered , the man in front of me coughed onto the scones , oh dear not happy about that , I asked to see the manageress , I told her what had happened , she was very defensive , didn`t like me telling her , I asked why they had no cover on them , her reply was they are to warm to cover , beware if you go there and you see cakes scones etc on the edge of the counter , they should be covered . I will not be visiting again , I expect a better standard ,

After a super morning at a hawk walk, local to Shrewsbury. What a perfect location to call by and stop for lunch.

This is definitely my favourite cafe in all of the Shrewsbury or Telford area, and always my first choice for lunch.

I am a regular for coffee and lunch at Salop Leisure, food and coffee is always good, you may pay a bit more but the quality is there. The staff are brilliant, always very cheerful helpfull, they serve everyone with the same attention to detail. Tables are always cleared and cleaned very quickly.

The coffee etc here is nice, but the service always seems slow, especially on the drinks.

Lovely coffee shop attached to salop leisure very relaxing environment. Great menu choices but expensive for some items ordered juice for my daughter and it was a small carton and was charged £1.35 no way it was worth that and must be a massive mark up but little other choice for children. Would visit again but would be as a great because of cost. Clean environment staff ok why not rude not very welcoming either.

We visit this coffee shop regularly as the choice of cakes is amazing and always very tasty. We usually take along our granddaughter as she enjoys playing in the little playpark. When we called in on Thursday afternoon the door leading from the café to the playpark was closed. We asked an assistant (blonde hair and wearing glasses) if she could possibly open the door to allow us to go through. She was extremely rude and surly and said she couldn't possibly open the door for us as it was too windy, and then just strode off. We were left shellshocked as couldn't understand why she couldn't have just explained the reason without being so rude. We left with a bit of a bad taste in our mouth as we have always found the staff to be friendly and attentive.

Arrived from Falkirk Friday 19/01/24 @1pm after reading reviews looking forward to a hot shower and rest up for the night as not loading until 5am only to find it closed as a snap site you would expect it to be open they charge enough for parking! If I’d got the drive time I would of moved on very disappointed

What a find we were staying at Ludlow Touring site and booked Sunday lunch at The Wheatsheaf . The pub was really welcoming warm and comfortable. We were two couples who went for Sunday lunch and we all agreed it was the best Sunday lunch we had had at a pub and really good value . The beef and lamb were really tender and there was a good selection of vegetables all cooked perfectly. The service was good and nothing too much trouble. Thank you for making our first visit a success

Been for lunch today and ordered the soup carrot and butternut squash which was OK, I asked for a brown roll but instead I got boring sliced brown so i asked for a roll and was told they didn't have any but could get me seedy one, that came straight from the freezer I think and was the so dry it would of made good bread crumbs .not worth £7.45 for the tiny bowl of soup 😡

Surprisingly quiet for a Sunday, but great service and a good selection of drinks.
