The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in Shropshire West Midlands

We had an early drink at the Nags Head about 4 pm and booked for a meal later on. We booked for 7 people plus one dog for 6 pm We arrived and shown to our table. Our dog was under the table and very quiet. We ordered and must say we waited a very long time for food to arrive. Just as some food arrived on table, the manager came to table and said we had to move to another part of the restaurant. No apologies The reason was we had a dog ! Not making any noise and we had booked for her! She said they didn’t have a booking for her but we certainly had included her when booking. So why leave it til we got our food. Totally unkind. It was so embarrassing for us to have to move across the restaurant with plates, glasses etc. our grandchildren were mortified and very upset. The part of the restaurant we were in was very quiet so there was no need to move us. Can you imagine how we felt? Never ever to return. We spent a lot of money that night. Looking back now wish we had just left.

Lovely venue, fantastic food and fabulous service! This is the absolute place to go for amazing tapas. The food is gorgeous! 100% will be returning and highly recommend!

Really good food and great value! Went with the family and we loved it. Really nicely decorated and very friendly staff. Lived in Bridgnorth for 30 plus years and it’s the first time we have been here. Will be back next week for sure 😀

Delicious food which in my opinion is very reasonably priced for the quality of ingredients. Coffee was perfect. The cafe setting and interior is gorgeous. and they are very welcoming to our young children. It’s fab to be able to go somewhere that the children will enjoy but is still a lovely, sophisticated place for the adults to appreciate!

We have visited this place many times with much satisfaction. It has changed hands and is a disaster. I have never walked out of a restaurant before and I have never placed a review on Tripadvisor, Today I have done both! There are o longer any home cooked meals. I don’t blame them for that. It’s a business choice. We ordered a tea and a hot chocolate and two cheese and ham paninis. We were told there would be. Wait for the paninis. The tea was fine. The hot chocolate was very small and not hot. After half an hour there was still no panini. The family next to us got up and left after being told their panini would be another 20 mins. They had arrived before us. I asked at the counter whether there was a problem with our order. I was told no and that there were two tables ahead of us and then we would be served. They said that would be another 15 mins or so. I told them I didn’t have the time to wait any longer. We paid for the drinks and left. It was simple food. There was no excuse. They simply didn’t have the capacity to supply the simple dishes. Nor did they have any change! It was unbelievably rank amateur. Never again.

We arrived at 3.30ish and was told by the young lady cleaning the floor on one side of the shop that they were still open. We made our way through the many uncleared and uncleaned tables and decided just to order coffee since a small slice of cake at £4+ seemed somewhat over the top. I ordered a small cup of black coffee and received ½ a cup of coffee, which, like the place itself, was quite cold. I was asked if I wanted milk, which I refused, however, I gave the barista the benefit of the doubt with regard to the lack of coffee since, perhaps, he was going to fill up the cup with milk. He never stayed around long enough to ask. All in all, as I've already said in my title, it was very disappointing. I know one could argue it was coming up 4 pm closing time, but to be fair, we did pay the same price as others earlier in the day, so the same level of service was expected!

We booked for 6 adults and one child. The lady was very friendly and helpful. The food was lovely, a choice of rolls, and was told to let her know if we wanted more. The scones, frogs, wands etc were in a suitcase which my daughter loved handing out to our table. We were offered drinks and refills. We also had chutney and mustard for our rolls which was lovely. We could choose our own cake which was a lovely idea. We all thoroughly enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. It was lovely seeing all the characters and memorabilia from harry potter. Lovely place to.visit, would absolutely recommend.

I pass this many days on the way to work and yesterday I decided to stop by and get a caramel latte to go. Having never been in before, I didn’t know what to expect. I was very shocked and slightly appalled at the price and quality of the coffee. The latte was 3.75 and the caramel shot was 1.25 which I found out after ordering my drink and being shocked at the £5 charge. I waited nearly 10 minutes for the girl behind the counter to make my latte. She wasn’t in any rush. She then handed me the smallest cup of latte I have ever seen! For £5 this was absolutely ridiculous. In hindsight, I wish I’d have said something. Surely this tiny cup wasn’t £5?! Absolute rip off. I put the cup in my holder in the car and it was so small I couldn’t lift it out as it was so much smaller than the hole! 🤣 I will never be returning which is a shame as I thought I’d would be able to buy a decent sized coffee for a fair and decent price. Shockingly over priced! I could have got a larger latte for less than that from Costa or Starbucks!

Nice enough place, but charged £18 for 3 cokes and a coffee. Later found out that colleague paid £3.10 for a coke, which means I was charged £8.70 for a coffee.

We visited today and had a lolly and wonderful ice cream. Very reasonable pricing. Cash only but signs everywhere so this shouldn’t be a shock to anyone! We had excellent service from the owner’s father in law who was manning the shop for the day - what a lovely chatty man! He gave us lots of local tips for our visit and couldn’t have been more helpful. A really lovely shop. Would highly recommend.

Was really looking forward to eating here after reading the reviews but unfortunately it was disappointing. It was busy but the wait for the food seemed a long time. The beef was very fatty which was a shame, the veg and the Yorkshire pudding were ok. I had a crumble for pudding and expected some nice stewed fruit and a lovely crumble covering it but it was big lumps of fruit and some crumble on the top, the waiter didn’t tell me the dish was hot and it was extremely hot when I pushed the bowl to move it slightly. The staff were all very nice but the food maybe just wants a bit of refining and I think it would be a lot better. It wasn’t horrendous just could’ve been better.

Found by accident while out driving around the area. Popped in for a quick lunch about 2.30. Quits a few people in there. Burger and chips were nice. Coffee was good. Toilet was clean also. Would be a good destination if it wasn't pouring with rain as could sit outside.

Ordered 2 decaffeinated coffees. They hadn't any decaffeinated. Ordered 2 flat whites Eventually served 2 ordinary coffees. They were so strong you could have stripped paint with them. Charged £6 . We won't be visiting again

Random! Great for hot drinks. Food? While it looked lovely, the menu really didn’t fit what you’d expect. We were shown to one room that was so cramped. Menu was really not in keeping with what I felt the general public would want mid day during the week. It felt as though it was aiming for high end, but really not reaching it with the environment, and the staff while pleasant just added to the overall feeling of it being, I’m not sure how to put it, slightly off. I’ve visited before and it had a very different feel. I’m unsure, what it was, but I wouldn’t revisit. Drinks 100% revisit, food no.
