We were a party of 7 who popped in for breakfast. Absolutely extortionist prices. 4 English breakfast and 4 coffees = £59. My order was scrambled egg or toast and an English breakfast with 2 coffees = £28!!! Most of the English breakfasts were uneaten, swimming in sloppy eggs and water from the mushrooms. No taste, poor quality. Very limited choices. No thank you never again!

An unexpected find. We happened to have Bill's dinner, which I believe you have to book for. It was lovely. Just a lot better than run of the mill pub grub. Or at least a very pleasant change. Great value. And the man was there himself. Just a very refreshing format for an eatery. Pity there aren't more like it. Very common and successful format in Italy, I think, so very welcome in Blighty. Thanks, Bill.

This place has become too expensive and the quality of the coffee has gone down. My coffee today was barely warm and very weak. The person making the coffee was far too slow. Sorry but you had my custom for the last time. Fortunately there are a lot of other cafes in the town to choose from

Visited Ludlow on a Tuesday afternoon, which turned out to be unwise as a lot of places were shut on Tuesdays. But not Bill's Kitchen! Lots of different cakes / sandwiches, the Breakfast Tea was lovely. Very traditional feel to it, e.g. provided a jug of hot water with the Teapots, which had giant tea bags protruding from their lids! Best of all on a personal note, they had a loaf of Bara Brith, something I had not tasted in around 30 years - it was delicious. Service was very friendly.

Our first visit here and probably our last. My husband had the full English breakfast. The bacon was terribly overdone to the extent that it broke into pieces when trying to cut it. It was quite greasy as well. I just had a piece of toast which tasted like it had been deep fried in butter which also made this very greasy. The little pot of raspberry jam was nice. I do prefer to have my butter on the side and spread it myself. The coffee was okay and the pot of tea was very nice. Very impersonal restaurant and very noisy.

We booked for breakfast…well it was Christmas Eve🙂 and we were so glad that we did. A great breakfast menu with lots of choices including for a vegetarian who doesn’t like avocado, honestly that’s more tricky than you might think. Our breakfasts were well cooked, well presented and served with a smile. Great food, friendly, professional staff what’s not to like.

A nice cafe, but very expensive if you’re gluten free!! We popped in for a cuppa and decided to have a snack. We ordered a gluten free ham sandwich and a mince pie with two pots of tea. This cost £16.50. The gluten free small roll carried a 70p surcharge, contained 1 slice of ham, and too much English mustard. The salad leaf garnish was thrown on the plate. Cost just under £9!! Won’t be doing this again, very disappointing.

Visited to have breakfast, ordered 2 full English and asked for poached eggs to be told NO ! They only do scrambled eggs! I have eaten breakfasts all over the country but never been told they will not do a choice of egg Not sure why this is, it could be as simple as Bill can’t poach an egg! Left without ordering and went across the square to a long established cafe and had a wonderful breakfast which included perfect poached eggs

We headed to Dee Dee's firstly because it is situated within The Range store, where we happened to be browsing, and secondly, because it advertised that it was serving Costa Coffee. We were killing time, waiting for a relative to undergo a hospital appointment, but we waited a LONG time to be served. I actually began to time it on my watch, silly I know, but I was beginning to think that we would have to ditch our idea of a coffee and head back to the hospital. In the end, we waited a little over 18 minutes to be served. Yes, the coffee was Costa, but not served Barista style, more of the kind of machine one finds in a buffet breakfast at a hotel, select your drink, press the appropriate button and the machine dispenses the drink. The staff seemed to be rushed off their feet, with one young lady taking orders and delivering coffees and another, older and more experienced lady putting together the food orders. One felt for them, as they were clearly understaffed and rushed off their feet. Yet, being British, we all stood there and queued! Costa coffee is okay, not nearly as special as it would like to think, but we got what we paid for. The seating area was nicely laid out, sufficient space between tables, but it was all rather canteen, rather than a coffee / cafe /bistro experience. The management should really look at their staffing levels and help out the current members, who are doing their best.
