We visited today and had a lolly and wonderful ice cream. Very reasonable pricing. Cash only but signs everywhere so this shouldn’t be a shock to anyone! We had excellent service from the owner’s father in law who was manning the shop for the day - what a lovely chatty man! He gave us lots of local tips for our visit and couldn’t have been more helpful. A really lovely shop. Would highly recommend.

My wife and I went over to Bridgnorth today, lovely day all round really with a Street event on and good weather to boot. Our day was rounded off by a trip on the “Cliff” railway and when at the lower end there found Knickerbockers, With a great selection of tasty ice creams at a fair price and a very friendly staff we will certainly go again when there next, (Don’t forget to take cash with you though.)

We made a visit here while on a day out, the lady in the shop had a terrible attitude towards us asking about the ingredients of the ice creams, due to our daughter having severe allergies. We continued to purchase the ice creams, our daughter had an allergic reaction within minutes of consuming the ice cream, that we were told was dairy free. When I went back into the shop all the lady could say was "our suppliers said it is dairy free" Not once did she ask how our little girl was, or if we needed any assistant. We had to cut our day out short & come home due to our daughter being very poorly. Very upsetting that someone working with the general public has such a terrible attitude. Trading standards are being informed due to the mis selling of free from products & making our daughter seriously unwell.

Went in to purchase an ice cream for my granddaughter and noticed you had to pay by cash so went to the nearest cash point which was over the other side of the bridge and went back and looked at the menu and noticed it had an ice cream with some kind of cryptic name which I can't remember. I asked the assistant what it was and she just pointed at the label in the freezer and unenthusiasticly said it tells you there! So I had a look at it and I'm sure she looked at her colleague in a roll your eyes kind of way! So I decided to walk out the shop and take my money somewhere else. So unfortunately I wasn't able to give a review on ice cream only the service!

I visited Knickerbocker's ice-cream parlour Thursday the 5th April since it was such a lovely day. I went in with my son and we both had a 1 scoop standard cone. The ice cream was lovely! The sign said it was from Cheshire Farm (somewhere i have visited and it was great) so the ice-cream flavours were lovely. The atmosphere inside was fab! The girls who were working were happy and chatty - asking my son about his day and what he's been doing with his time off school. It really is a lovely little shop and I can't wait for my next visit. I know for a fact it's super busy in the summertime but it's 100% worth the wait.

Not sure if it was holiday recruited staff or what but they were drastically overcharging, although the prices are clearly advertised. It spoilt what could have been a very pleasant visit as the Knickerbocker glory ice cream was a real treat but being charged £19.10 for a bill that should have been £15.74 was too much! Then the inability of the staff member to correct the situation made it worse, as I said maybe it was not the usual staff but even with a calculator she got 3 very different amounts for the same items, in the end I said to just forget it as the shop was busy and I paid the £19.10.As we left I heard another customer query her bill too.

Great service and ice cream flavour choice. Although being from North Wales, I'm used to the likes of Cadwaladrs etc. It was comparable, and the ice cream sundae I had was fantastic. I liked that they also did Milkshakes with a choice of chocolate bar added, and there was plenty of choice from that. The ice cream sundae was a little bit on the pricey side, but it's supposed to be a "treat" so I can't fault it there! Handy it was right next to the place we were staying too! :) Would recommend!

We headed to Dee Dee's firstly because it is situated within The Range store, where we happened to be browsing, and secondly, because it advertised that it was serving Costa Coffee. We were killing time, waiting for a relative to undergo a hospital appointment, but we waited a LONG time to be served. I actually began to time it on my watch, silly I know, but I was beginning to think that we would have to ditch our idea of a coffee and head back to the hospital. In the end, we waited a little over 18 minutes to be served. Yes, the coffee was Costa, but not served Barista style, more of the kind of machine one finds in a buffet breakfast at a hotel, select your drink, press the appropriate button and the machine dispenses the drink. The staff seemed to be rushed off their feet, with one young lady taking orders and delivering coffees and another, older and more experienced lady putting together the food orders. One felt for them, as they were clearly understaffed and rushed off their feet. Yet, being British, we all stood there and queued! Costa coffee is okay, not nearly as special as it would like to think, but we got what we paid for. The seating area was nicely laid out, sufficient space between tables, but it was all rather canteen, rather than a coffee / cafe /bistro experience. The management should really look at their staffing levels and help out the current members, who are doing their best.
