Nice beer, chicken, chips great, steak tuff as saddle leather. Had a nice time here though with the kids in the garden. Would recommend for family's or a nice pint.

Wednesday steak night.........excellent rump steaks from a local butcher with all the trimmings. Cooked perfectly medium rare and great value at two for under £20. Worth a sneaky midweek treat

Great family run country pub, fabulous home cooked food. Perfect setting on the edge of the Wyre Forest, good sized outside seating area with things to occupy children, plenty of flat car parking. A valuable asset to a rural community they also host great events like car meets, live music and the annual Button Oak fete. Well done guys, The Button Oak , what country pubs are all about 🤩

Always bangin food, good choice of beers and the handsome man with a tattoo on his head who drinks there is really entertaining, good entertainment put on with lots of effort put into events.

Great pub with fantastic Landlady, Chef and Staff. I’m not a local, but always feel welcome at this lovely country pub. Food is great, the beer is better and great facilities with proper beer garden, live acts, and entertainment. Always a great place to kick back and have some laughs and worth the journey into real British countryside.

Beautiful food, friendly staff and owners. A very welcoming family friendly pub with a lovely beer garden for the summer months and a gorgeous log fire to keep you warm on the colder nights. Regular live music and karaoke nights. A great range of beers and ciders, ales and spirits and they make a great coffee too! If you’ve got room left after you’ve smashed a roast dinner, button burger stack, steak or a pizza, squeeze in a dessert… you won’t regret it, the syrup sponge is amazing!!

We came across this little beauty on our travels, soon as we entered the building we were granted with a warm welcome plus lots of dogs which I love! The food was just incredible! and not too harsh on the bank balance :) I would highly recommend this family run pub can't wait to come again soon.

Looking forward to a tasty Sunday roast lunch. However, 2 very basic options, as for starters, when I spotted tomato ketchup with my pate that should have rung alarm bells. We ordered 1 x beef & 1 x pork, although this is a country pub were you would expect lots of local fresh veg everything was mushy frozen veg. Upon biting into my 1st roast potato it was raw inside the others looked over cooked but I didn’t venture there again. The Yorkshire pudding was burnt. We expressed our disappointment to the waiter who said he would tell the chef, obviously no one felt it necessary to come and talk with us as no one came to see us. Will not be visiting again.

We went one evening to celebrate a friends Birthday and the Atmosphere was great, pub was packed, great karaoke with some fantastic singers, didn't eat here as only went for drinks but had a great evening..

A friendly informative landlord Richard, & a lovely lady Yvonne serving nice variety of real ales, a nice tasting steak baguette around £7 so fairly priced..Just adjacent to a lovely walkway into the Wyre Forest, a great little training area & a must for dog walkers, they have live music on occasionally & a Karaoke..the steak was voted the best in Wyre Forest so that's nice to know..A down to earth experience with lovely beer garden & a goat pen for your children. Lol..

Expensive for what it is, although food was nice, but not worth the price. Drinks are really expensive. Nowhere inside to sit so had to sit outside with a lot of flies and wasps to eat and drink

This is a tiny local pub with limited seating. However it's in a great location...we went for a forest walk after lunch. The food was surprisingly good and whilst the service was a bit slow (they were very busy) staff were friendly and helpful. Prices were very reasonable We used the pub as a halfway meeting place between Bristol and North Wales. I would meet there again.

Booked a table for Sunday lunch, busy little pub with large outdoor seating and play area. Staff and customers very friendly. Sunday lunch was beautiful, homemade with sides of cauliflower cheese and large dish of mixed vegetables which were all piping hot and very fresh. Meat was lovely and you can have a choice of meats or mixed selection. Prices also really good. Desserts were gorgeous … 2 of us had cheesecake which came in a tall glass with a scoop of ice cream and one had Eaton mess. Both were amazing. Will definitely be returning

Lovely little pub, dropped in for a drink break after a long walk in the forest. Friendly staff, plenty of outside seating and a selection of sweets, chocolate and cobs served at the bar with a kitchen ready to serve. They also have bike rental on site

What a great place, have driven past many times and not stopped. Well today we did stop and had a meal, the meal was really good so we had dessert as well, and drinks. We will definitely return.

Sunday lunch was amazing! Last minute decision to go for Sunday lunch, very friendly welcome and our two dogs too . Staff very attentive and we ordered pretty much straight away . Roast Pork & Roast Beef , plenty of fresh vegetables, homemade Yorkshire pudding, roast and new potatoes and cauliflower cheese . Wow All was super delicious!! Husband ordered sticky toffee pudding too, that looked lovely . Unfortunately I was too full from my roast . Would definitely return if we are over that way again , Compliments to a great chef and friendly servers . Thank you x

We've been to The Button oak twice now and loved it both times. Booking is really easy through messagner, very responsive. Atmosphere is relaxed and suitable for both adults and children. Food doesn't come fast but it's freshly prepared and absolutely beautiful. We've already got our third visit organised.

We booked for 1.30pm, we got there early, but it was not a problem at all for the welcoming staff. Drinks & meals were swiftly served, the food was really good. Mixed veg & gravy served on the side, hot and plentiful. Deserts were really good too. Staff were friendly, chatty & good fun. We will definitely come back again. Fabulous welcome and service. Sadly meals weren't available but we enjoyed soup, rolls, pork pies etc and cake at great prices. Nice quality. Hot drinks also available in addition to alcohol, soft drinks etc. Will look forward to a visit when we can sample the meals

We sat by the log burner, it was brilliantly cosy. One of my friends is vegan and it’s great to see a menu with multiple vegan options! Warm and welcoming atmosphere paired with delicious food - what more could you want?

Call before you go. Reserve a table. You won't be disappointed. Popped in whilst visiting nearby and had some lovely food in very cosy surroundings. Polite and friendly staff tended to us. The paté is excellent and the chutney is divine. No pictures as I was too hungry and it was so good. I hope to return

Love this pub, it’s always friends and has a good atmosphere. Me and my husband ride down on our horse, and they are always accommodate and welcomed. We stop for the food and a drink, the loaded fries are a must if you stop but the Sunday dinner is also a good hearty meal, like momma used to make.

We visited the Button Oak Inn as we wanted to walk our dog in the forest. As it turned out, several woodland footpaths are accessed from the side of the pub. We stopped for evening meal and are glad we did. Although it seemed to be a locals pub, everybody was very friendly and chatty. We were the only ones eating at the time and got tremendous service from the staff. Food was hot and seemed freshly cooked. Haddock was nice and white, the gammon very tasty. Enjoyed it so we had dessert too. Banks”s Mild went down a treat and the wife had a good selection of flavoured gin to choose from. Extremely well priced throughout. Overall a very enjoyable evening

Visited for a meal last month, I had the haddock and chips which was fresh and very tasty! My wife had the kastsu curry which she was very impressed with and the kids had nuggets each but were more interested in the goats outside lol!...

I brought family out one afternoon and everyone was very pleased either the experience. The food was hot and fresh, delivered by very polite and friendly staff. Being that is a family pub, I would recommend this pub to anyone and everyone for a wonderful...

The only place in Worcestershire to go for your Sunday roast! Everything is cooked to perfection and the staff cannot do enough for you. We always get a bit of each meat and the portions are so generous we usually end up taking some home...
