The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in Wiltshire South West

Forgot to serve us with a cake we had paid for. Had to remind the server.

This restaurant was NOT busy today when I met a friend for lunch, but, we had to ask no less than 3 times for ketchup and mayonnaise. I even got up from my table and asked a waitress for some, and despite telling me she would bring it straight away, she didn’t. If you want people to return to The Greenhouse, you need to educate your waiting staff in customer support

Lovely cream teas, ample of everything, friendly efficient staff. Super views down the locks from the terrace. Doggy friendly too.

Went for afternoon tea with 2 friends. We were very disappointed with the offerings. Sandwiches cut into small rectangles, so fell apart although scones and little tarts excellent. Were told to select piece of cake from table, quite nice but portions far too big. Staff having a break at nearby table so not very professional. Unfortunately we would not go back for afternoon tea, which was priced rather high in our view for what was offered. Would however maybe pop in for coffee and cake.

We were on a coach outing and quite a few of the passengers, looking for somewhere to eat, ended up in BOA Teapot. What impressed me so much was the quite and efficient way the staff dealt with us all. Tea orders were taken, tea and coffee arrived very quickly, we were told there would be a delay, but to our surprise our food arrived very quickly to very hungry customers. The food was nicely displayed and a joy to eat. So many thanks to the two staff there. quite a lot of the coach

My wife and I have eaten many times in the past here and generally extremely pleased with the quality of the food. However, this evening we were sadly disappointed with the fish and chips; weirdly, the mushy peas were presented on a soup bowl without a serving spoon, the chips were half sized misfits and looked as though they'd been cooked hours previously and the battered fish was riddled with cooking fat, with very little fish and looked awful. This is most likely the last time we'll entertain an evening meal. However, the staff are always friendly so the issue I believe is in the kitchen.

Staff all very friendly but hotel extremely tired and is desperate need of facelift and investment. Lovely location on riverside. Room had comfy bed but paint peeling off walls and dirty doors in bathroom, shower over bath poor, sink shabby. Corridors and reception area also shabby. Sadly breakfast very underwhelming. Horrible soggy mushrooms, rubbery hash browns etc. Coffee tasteless. Not real orange juice. We would not return in the state the hotel is currently in.

We visited yesterday lunchtime & the food was exceptional, really tasty & well presented. We would definitely visit again, next time we are in BOA.

Fabulous Christmas Day lunch! The staff were fabulous, so friendly and helpful. The food was amazing each course cooked to perfection. The time between courses was perfect. Considering how busy the restaurant was, it was all perfect. A huge thank you to Charlie and his fabulous team!

Opens nice and early! Very friendly barista, good to speak to someone who seemed to be enjoying their job. V good coffee, nice pain au raisin, good selection of other cakes and pastries. Like the quotations on the walks. Comfortable and light - good environment to eat and drink in, and finally gentle background music at sensible volume

We were first to arrive and it was still quiet but the cafe was spotless, beautifully decorated and the staff were friendly and helpful. Perfect for a coffee while we waited for the house and garden to open.

Not open on time, came here for coffee, gone 9,00 but not open, people waiting outside, can see staff inside ignoring us. Went across the way to Valeroso and won’t be back.

Staff were unfriendly and relevant to sit customers. We waited to be served for over 10 minutes while watching staff chat and fuzz about. We left. No food, no serve.

This is a smart cafe with a good selection of cakes and on this occasion we enjoyed the Millionaires Brownie and a moist Blueberry and Lime cake . These were accompanied by good flat whites.

Popped in and ordered myself a white Americano to take out, which unfortunately proved to be absolutely tasteless, just like drinking hot, milky water. Recent reviews would suggest I have been unfortunate, but I won't be back.
