With a new and varied menu, The Greenhouse is definitely well worth a visit ! The restaurant provided a relaxing environment where we enjoyed a lovely lunch of pigeon, Bang Bang cauliflower, vegetarian risotto and cheese burger classic.Attentive and friendly service, well presented and delicious dishes, comfortable dining and bar areas. We will be returning for sure.

We booked a table for two on Friday evening and Dimitrij was very helpful and suggested a time based on them having a large party in and wanting us to have a quiet dining experience. I have been to the Greenhouse on many occasions and it never disappoints. The food was excellent, the service was quick and all in all it was a lovely evening. I would recommend the Greenhouse for a place for a drink and a slice of cake in the afternoon or a very smart and relaxed dinner in an evening.

Having used The Greenhouse many times before, pre-covid, we went back for a wedding anniversary dinner last night. Things have changed and not for the better…… in fairness we had no complaints about the food which was fresh, well cooked and hot. Service was prompt and the staff courteous, prices acceptable rather than great. However the menu now has only 5 starters and 5/6 mains, 3 desserts. This is nothing like the range of choices that used to exist and there are no longer any daily specials. What’s more on a quiet evening, 7 customers, there was 1 starter and 1 main not available. The choice is just too limited given the number of other competing outlets in the area. The opening hours are also very limited. With so few customers, we think we were the only non-residents there, it’s is difficult to see how this venue can thrive in the longer term. We will not be returning any time soon.

I felt the tea was cold, when I told the waitress this she just felt the urn…. We only had a panini which was ok, not the best we have had. Overall disappointing

A group of 5 of us came here for breakfast. We were seated very quickly and given menus but then left waiting 30 minutes to order. As one party member went to the bathroom they passed the bar and mentioned we hadn't had a chance to order yet and the batista replied with something about it suddenly getting very busy. After nearly 40 minutes we gestured the waitress with dark hair (possibly called Daisy) that we were ready to order. She rudely told us across the room that the restaurant was not table service. At no point had anyone informed us of this, nor are there any signs anywhere indicating this to be the case. Instead of apologising to us for the misinformation and delay in us ordering the waitress argued and implied it was our fault despite us not knowing this was the restaurant policy.Its a shame that the service was so poor as the food was delicious and the poached eggs were cooked to perfection.

Took advantage of Groupon deal and was not disappointed. One fish and chips and one burger and chips with glasses of red wineHave had fish and chips in many major seaside locations and this was up amongst the best Burger good also Chips particularly goodVery good service and will return soon

Went there for lunch as a couple on a Groupon voucher. Nice location and atmosphere generally a pleasant place to eat. Both chose fish and chips. When the food arrived the fish batter looked very greasy. When we cut into the fish the inside of the batter was not cooked through. We pointed this out to the lady server who profusely apologized and removed both plates. The replacement fish was slightly better but still the inside of the batter was not fully cooked. Either the oil was not hot enough or the batter was too thick and claggy.The whole event was very disappointing and frustrating and would not tempt us to return.

Excellent restaurant with a lovely atmosphere. Came for lunch with my friend and had a really pleasant visit. Took both of us a while to find the place as address is The Pavillion, Roundwood Way off, Westwells Rd, Corsham SN13 9RD. Postcode incorrect on TripAdvisor. I had salmon linguine which was gorgeous. Small portion was plenty for lunch. My friend had the burger and chips which she said was fab too. Excellent value for money! The girl behind the bar was very pleasant too when we paid our bill. Definitely will be back

Eleven of us had dinner at the Greenhouse a few weeks ago. Entrance from the road is slightly odd, building site, but the location and grounds are nice. Restaurant is well appointed and comfortable, a little up market but not pretentious. The food was, I’m disappointed to say, only average nothing truly special and with a quite limited menu, steak, burgers etc. Some not all had 3 courses, 3 bottles of wine were drunk bill came to £400 or £36 per head, which did not feel like particularly good value. Happy to pay for quality, in this case I would say there are better places around Corsham to eat.

We ate lunch here recently on a Groupon deal. We had to sit on a specified table for Groupon customers, which didn't happen on an earlier visit and this gave us limited atmosphere in what can be a lovely place. The glass of wine included was at best poor and maybe a soft drink would have been a better choice. We left it on the table. The waitress had happily replaced the first drink in a dirty glass. The saving grace was the fish and chips. Well cooked and very tasty.

We visited yesterday for lunch on a bargain Groupon offer, we had never heard of the restaurant and despite being not too far from home didnt know where it was, thankfully Sat nav did because we would never have found it. It's a lovely building, has a great feel to it. We were welcomed by extremely friendly front of house, who explained the menu and answered all of our questions, she (sorry didn't get her name) was fab. The food was good and we would definitely go back. If I had to say one slight negative, the tables are too close together. Definitely worth a visit, they have a coffee shop too if you just want a quick stop.

Lovely Sunday roast, have been here a few times but not on a Sunday. Glad we booked as it was very busy! Friendly staff and drinks arrived quickly, only a 5 minute wait for a gorgeous roast. Lamb did have a bit too much fat on it but very tender. Ordered two smaller portions fir our 12 and 14 yr old and there was plenty for them. Massive Yorkshire pudding and nice roast potatoes. Our youngest said the gravy was better than homemade. Taken one mark off due to amount of fat on lamb and second glass of wine ordered at same time as puddings didn’t arrive but they were extremely busy and we didn’t chase for it so not that bothered. Will definitely visit again.

Went for lunch asked for a menu for the cafe but they didn’t have one someone went to print some off but they never got back so we had to take in it in turns to go up and look what they had !!Had sandwiches they were ok

Really enjoy this place. Thew food is wonderful and well priced. It has a unique atmosphere that I have not found anywhere else locally. Anytime I am home for the weekend I always book in for their Sunday lunch.

Once located (postcode in sat nav gave a off grid area) we found ourselves in what is predominately a retirement village still under various stages of construction. The pavilion setting has a little poetic licence about it, but hey ho. Interior was nicely done and still quite sparkly new. The food menu was quite limited but I would say on a par with a fair country pub.Burger a pizza and a couple of risotto's with a glass of beer was ok. - we didn't fancy the desert offerings and to be fair although it was a saturday night there were only a handful of tables occupied which left the atmosphere and ambience a little wanting in fairly big space. Going in a large group might help as would extending the menu.

Brilliant drinks, i had a frangelico hot chocolate and it was delicious! Me and my wife will be coming back here shortly.

We tried the coffee Shop menu as the restaurant was booked and there was an event about to start. Delicious coffee in large cups and reasonably priced. Delicious sandwiches and lovely pastries. Restaurant menu limited but food looked good. Excellent service - friendly, professional and attentive. Suitable for handicapped and clean, neat and tidy throughout.

We visited as guests of Wadwick Green to view the properties on this development. The bar and restaurant area were clean and tidy with an open view of the inside of the kitchen - I like this. Orders for drinks and food were taken promptly and delivered quickly. My wife had the rainbow salad with roast chicken and declared it was the best salad meal tha she had ever had outside of the USA! It was very big with lots of interesting seeds, nuts and unusual veggies. The chicken was tasty and succulent - clearly a good quality product. I had the Bream with pasta and samphire which again was tasty and well presented. A very pleasant lunch good service and lovely food.

As a regular visitor to The Greenhouse, I came in to try the new Coffee Shop menu. We ordered 2 different sandwiches and were VERY disappointed. On the positive side, they were served with lovely curly crisps. The rocket that accompanied the sandwiches was very limp and had seen better days. The sandwiches were served with Pre-cut white processed bread with a very limited filling....a typical service station sandwich! Certainly not the standard of food we had been previously served in the restaurant. Can we suggest you use a variety of fresh breads( brown and white)and perhaps with an option to remove the crusts. The cabinet on the bar does not promote your Coffee Shop well at all.

Restaurant attached to a retirement village but don't let that put you off. Loads of people go there for the relaxed atmosphere and tasty menu. Worth a visit

My partner surprised me with a booking here Sat 22nd June, there were plenty of tables free. We were shown to a table where a colleague quickly snapped 'not this one', so we were shown to another table.

Stayed in one of the guest apartments for 3 nights, very comfortable. Ate breakfast each morning. Don't open until 09:30. Bit late for me.

Had a lovely lunch today. The restaurant is well decorated and comfortable- furniture was of a good standard and very clean.

Recommended and did not disappoint. Menu is quite limited but food tasty and service pleasant. Atmosphere quiet. Unusual as part of 60's+ estate but restaurant open to the public.

It was a great bar/restaurant. The snack we ordered was very tasty and I would have given 5stars had they not made a mistake with our order.

Visited with a couple of work colleagues who were in the area. They had previously enjoyed The Greenhouse Burger and we were all NOT let down. Fab, succulent, tasty, filling. Its up there with the best !

Ate here last night after hearing some good reports locally.

Came here last week, the restaurant was quite quiet but the food was brilliant. I had the blade of beef which was divine. We both had desserts, which were very tasty, I can highly recommend the parfait and chocolate tart. We then moved through to the bar area and enjoyed coffees through there. Staff were friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back.

Came here with my family from Canada, there was 10 of us (+ 2 toddlers) and had a lovely lunchtime meal, the cauliflower carpaccio is delicious! Amazing staff who are all conscientious and hardworking. Will definitely be returning!

I have visited this lovely resturant a handful of times now and I must say it’s absolutely fantastic! The new chef has brought a lovely new menu in, that changes every month so no matter how often you come in, you’ll never get bored of the choices. If you haven’t already visited the Greenhouse then I highly recommend that you do!

I have lived here with my wife since before the Greenhouse was opened 3 years ago I thought one does take things for granted so now writing this review.Despite various staff changes they have all been friendly and have gone out of their way to be helpful.

My wife and I had lunch here today: the food was excellent and the service quick and very friendly.

We love it here and don’t understand the poor reviews. The staff are all smiley and chatty, the food is fab, and lots of gins to choose from. It’s difficult to find the first time, but well worth a visit.

We’ve been here a few times over the past couple of of years, each time the service has been less and less. This time we find the menu has changed dramatically, not very impressed. No pizzas now, which were always fab!!! Little choice, atmosphere was really droll and only one other table booked. It’s almost become a place just for the residents. Not a warm welcome in sight!!!!

We booked for Christmas day at 3p sitting we arrived at 2.50 the bar area was very busy so we stood up. My son in law went to find a waitress at 3pm and was told our table was not yet ready. we eventually got a seat and waited at 3.30 we inquired again and was told then our table was ready.We were seated and the table was not ready no water or salt and pepper, when we requested some water they took it off the next table and did not replenish that table where there was not enough spoons. We ordered wine and had to remind them before we finally got it. The food was ok but not the best Christmas lunch I have eaten. I felt very sorry for the staff as they struggled to keep up with the demand, The management needs to have a rethink about their Christmas Day service and put people before profit, It has put me off ever going there again. Terrible, terrible service. Arrived at our pre-booked time for Christmas dinner, no canapes as promised and we allegedly arrived half an hour late for our slot so we were refused sorbet. We ordered drinks, the water didn't turn up and the winter Pimm's turned up 20 minutes late after three requests for it and standing at the bar waiting after mains. One person was served the wrong pre-ordered food so we had to wait five minutes more for him. The turkey was super dry, no sauces, the 'Christmas dinner' was very basic. My father specifically asked for a desert without cream, he got on with cream. Much more wrong with this meal, waitresses inventing conflicting excuses. Had to remind them to bring the cheese board over, they were trying to make us leave early, grandparents wanted coffees that took 15 minutes. Happy Christmas!!!!

Thank you to all the wonderful hard working staff at the Greenhouse for a lovely Christmas dinner. Even though staff were understandably busy, nothing was too much trouble for them. We had a superb five course meal which was really enjoyable. We are looking forward to booking again for next year.

We travelled down from Yorkshire to visit the parents who live in Neston. We have been here before in the past and while not the cheapest place it was pleasant environment and quality food, now however........

Quite a difficult place to find as it is in a partly built retirement village but don’t be put off as it is a really good place for big groups. It is large and newly decorated with lots of glass as it’s name suggests. We had a Christmas meal there. The food was good with the right size portions. It was quite quick to arrive too. There is also parking although not very clear which car park you can use.

We came for our Christmas get together. Sunday lunah. Brilliant roast beef, good quality meat and big portions. Waitress forgot to bring our drinks but we were still charged and our bill was totally wrong as Sunday lunch is a special deal. Service was a little slow even though there were lots of waitors. Excellent coffee. Overall very good food but service needs to be more efficient. We will be back though as the food and decor are lovely.

We were looking for a quite place for dinner for two on a Saturday evening and decided to give this place a try. The food was excellent, the service fast and attentive and the restaurant is lovely and spacious.

I have been here a few times always have good food and service. Booked online (easy to do) although it was October we asked if we could sit outside on the large patio and enjoy the warm sunshine. This wasn’t a problem and just had to pay our food and drinks up front. Although this restaurant is in a retirement village anyone is welcome and I always book as fairly busy. There is building works going on to the retirement village but this is far enough away so it won’t bother you. Lovely food again and brilliant service, only complaint is too full for pudding! I would recommend the Cajun chicken burger - 10/10. friends had beef burgers which were good and fish. I like the fact if you want a smaller portion (on some of the mains) you can and pay a lower price. Look forward to visiting again soon.

Booked for a lunchtime birthday meal and cannot fault the food or service. Every meal was served on time and piping hot. The staff were very friendly and 100% professional.

Really enjoyed the roast beef and girlfriend the veggie roast. Decent potatoes and the veg was really good. Nice restaurant and atmosphere. Would recommend and would return.

There were 16 of us Friday evening (The ex Trowbridge Rotary Club), all arrived on time except 2, they got lost!! The staff were very pleasant and helpful, although we were half an hour late eating no one got cross or irate, the food was still perfect and everyone enjoyed a fantastic evening.

Service was excellent from very polite waitress (Shannon I think) but food (thai green curry ) was watery, bland and tasteless, really poor. Beer and gin fine and it’s a lovely room shame the food is so average as it’s certainly not cheap !!!!

Met up with a new friend for lunch. Chicken Cajun burger and chips were really tasty, friend had Risotto equally lovely. Great wine and desserts. Staff were brilliant as we stayed for 6 hours chatting forever, we never felt rushed or made to feel we should go. One of the waitresses took a photo of us too. A great time and we will definitely return.

Just booked a table on the off chance because this is local to us. Wonderful setting, felt like a continental restaurant. My daughter and I had the mixed platter to share for a starter. It was fantastic, lots of meat, olives and mozzarella with home made flat bread. I had the flat iron steak with blue cheese sauce. My daughter had belly pork roll. Bother were great. the best steak I've had for a while and it was reasonably priced. The staff were all friendly and helpful. I will certainly be returning.

Met up tonight for an annual reunion with friends. Upon arrival the venue appeared to be perfect and the staff couldn’t be friendlier. We arrived around 8.15pm, a little late as the venue was difficult to find even with the help of sat nav. We were seated for our main course meal at around 8.45pm.unfortunately I hadn’t actually finished my main course before my plate was removed from the table. By 9.30 pm we were told we had to order desert as the kitchen was closing and by 10pm we were asked to settle the bill and leave! Pretty poor for a Friday night. Whilst the food was good I won’t be returning to the venue due to the poor level of service.There are lot of great restaurants in the area who will welcome my business beyond 10pm!

This place is a great find. Everything was perfect, attentive and friendly staff, great wine list, beautiful and calm ambiance and perfect food. We will certainly be back.

Myself and some friends came for brunch on the weekend. After previously visiting the Greenhouse before with other friends I was expecting it to be great as I really enjoyed it before. However, this was not the case. We were made to feel really rushed by the waiter who was serving us inside because we had arrived before 11. It took having to ask a second time for our water to be brought to the table. When the food arrived the waitress didn’t call out what we were having she just stood there and was like well where does it go then? It seemed as though maybe she didn’t know what she was bringing out. I had a cooked breakfast and my food was just dumped on the plate and Luke warm. My friend had the eggs benedict which was cold and the sauce was dried onto the food. Nobody came to ask us how our food was which is what anyone would expect when being a paying customer. We were just disappointed because not only was the service poor, the food was dissaponiting too. I don’t think customers should be made to feel this way just because they’re ordering close to when the kitchen is closing, but unfortunately we were.

A group of seven of us visited last Sunday lunchtime. Our table was for 1pm and half the group ordered starters, with the other half wanting dessert. The starters came promptly and the bubble and squeak was superb. The mains didn’t come out until 2.45, an hour and half wait for those who didn’t order a starter and a good hour and 15mins for us who did. We had chased up the mains on numerous occasions, being told they were the next ticket. Obviously by this time we were ravenous! The food was great but was not worth the long wait. Some of our party had other commitments in the late afternoon so we did not have time to stay for dessert. The atmosphere was also dampened by the manager shouting at his staff on the floor, in front of diners. The poor waiting staff were working very hard and the way they were treated by their manager was disrespectful. I did complain to the manager about the late food to which we did receive 10% off, and I also complained about the way he treated his staff and how unprofessional it was to shout at them in front of customers. This was met with rudeness from the manager. He was extremely patronising, argumentative and unwilling to recognise his mistakes. He seemed more concerned to defend his actions than to apologise. Unfortunately due to this manager’s poor attitude, we shall not be returning, having been regular customers for some time.

We live locally and this place has become a frequent haunt for us, the staff are friendly and accommodating remembering our faces each time. The variety of food and drink is good too. Would recommend to friends and family, the sunday lunch is brilliant with the option to eat inside or outside on the large patio! You can also come here for a few drinks on a sunny afternoon as it is walkable from nearby billages.

Food was good but atmosphere poor. Too many waitress in one table I guess..?.We had allready third portion in table (greetings from kitchen and first) without anything to drink. Staff was running between kitchen and tables with noisy shoes - that was very annoying. They were professionals I guess, but not friendly and did not seem to enjoy working there. Everything felt calculated, they did not treat us as a person.

Popped in for lunch on a beautiful sunny Tuesday. We sat at the terrace and had to order at the bar and pay at the same time as the order. No problem. We had the hot smoked salmon salad and the superfood salad (the small size). Both of them were large enough for us to feel satisfied. My friend said it was like being on holiday with the sun shining and the beautiful gardens/borders. Overall, we were very happy and will return.

We hired the private room and the staff did all they could to help the night go smoothly. Great food, wide menu and nice atmosphere. Highly recommend this restaurant for a function!

We have been here a couple of times now and they do lovely food however it takes rather a long time to come out - even when the restaurant isn’t very busy. But other than that there a good selection of food and drink and a great atmosphere there.

We have eaten here a few times over the last few years and sometimes it is very good and sometimes not. This time we were a large group of about 16 and had mixed results. Fair to say my meal was very good, but others ranged from unimaginative to poor. the curry was hardly a curry at all, but the main problem was the poor service. We seemed to have one waitress, who was rushed of her feet dealing with our group, while the few tables otherwise occupied were long gone by the time we came round to our main course. Others I know regularly come here, but I cannot recommend it.

We went to Wadswick for a spa and lunch package. The staff in both spa and the restaurant couldn't do enough to help and our food was prompt and delicious. Unfortunately problems with the swimming pool cut our visit short but I would definitely go again!

Such a lovely layout with excellent food. You have to try the bubble and squeak, just amazing. Extensive wine list with a well stocked bar. During summer the glass walls open completely to give you that outdoor feel with all the comforts of indoors. Well worth a visit and they do two for one pizzas during the week. Win, win!!!

We have visited the spa and restaurant on a number of occasions but the first time since they have made changes to the spa packages so you now only get a 30 minute treatment. The treatment was fine but were disappointed that the jacuzzi was not working and being a small spa this is a kinda a big deal. No one told us this when booking. We then had afternoon tea. The sandwiches were not great very basic and one even just had cucumber shoved in a role. The cakes were nice but scones were dry. I don’t know why but it just felt that the place had gone a bit down hill to how it use to be. There is no buzz about the place and the staff just are not as attentive as they used to be. It’s a shame as we really use to like coming here.

Spent a pleasant evening at the Greenhouse with friends . Atmosphere lovely, staff accommodating. However menu limited and similar to 2 years ago which was disappointing . Quality not as I remember which was a shame . Thick cut chips soaked in fat , fish a little tasteless. Puds tasted like reheated (shame ).

We had a spa / food joint vouchers for Christmas. First of all trying to book the day to use the spa was a nightmare we rang twice and left messages with our number to ring us back. This was in the morning, the next day we still had not been contacted, so rang again only to get through to a rude member of staff.

Have been having these a while now each time i visit. Great comfort food. Simple affordable and on lovely bread with lovely tartare sauce

I have visited the restaurant 2 days running. On my first visit I was waiting for a friend to turn up and she was late so I sat there at a table for about 15 minutes and not at one point did anybody approach me and ask me what I wanted, so I had to leave my table and go and order from the bar. Visit two I decided to try something from the bar menu and spotted my favourite fish finger ciabatta. The first impression was extremely good however when I started eating it I discovered a grey mash that was supposed to be a fish finger. Iceland basics fish fingers would have had more fish in them. I didn't bother complaining as I know just poor excuses would have been given to me (I would have if somebody had bothered to ask if my meal was alright which is normal practice in restaurants). The atmosphere and surroundings are first class in this establishment but what always lets it down is the customer service (I don't think they know the meaning of the word)

I don’t understand where some of these impolite comments that people leave come from... I have used the greenhouse for months. Mostly when I go in on my own, but when I am visiting my son, we always go there and we’re always treated nicely. I must say some other diners do like the sound of their own voices, but the staff are lovely.

We’ve been in a few times recently while visiting family. Popped in for a coffee, booked for lunch and kept going back, the high point being yesterday for Mother’s Day. We were urged by the staff to hurry up and book a week or two ago and could see why.

Took mother-in-law, a sprightly 84 year old, for afternoon tea. Nice looking venue, very comfortable with a welcoming farm. All good so far. 2 cream teas please. Sorry you haven’t booked. (Not very friendly). But we do have sandwiches and Victoria sandwich cake. And tea. Ok so nearly afternoon tea. Except we sat there and sat there while the manageress and her member of staff talked and talked and talked. To each other. Food arrived eventually. Stewed tea and one piece of cake between us. But we did have two forks. Very strange. And then we waited and waited for the plates to be cleared and another pot of tea to arrive. Conversation clearly more important than customers. Very disappointing.

My goodness what a disapointed lunch today for my friends birthday.To start of with we could'nt get in through the usual gates,and had to find our way round another way.No notice on the residents gates telling people were to go.After visiting this place many times before we were both looking forward to our lunch.We both ordered medallions of lamb,which we asked to be cooked pink,in no time at all the dish was ready.It was recooked lamb which had been heated up on a bed off awful potatos and little veg.

Went for the first time for an early Mother’s Day lunch after reading food reviews and looking at the menu online etc. The restaurant is lovely with the decor very warming and cosy. Staff weren’t very friendly or attentive. We ordered a steak and the guy came out with two roast dinners so we told him that’s not what he ordered for him to reply “oh really, that’s strange” no apology. He took the plates and bought back two stakes asked if we wanted any sauce came back with a big pot with about a tea spoon of ketchup in for us to share.. talk about rationing. The food was actually quite nice but again the staff weren’t attentive.. we sat with empty glasses through out the whole meal and didn’t get asked if we wanted anything else. Would not recommend and would not go back again.

We really enjoyed a Saturday lunchtime family celebration. The food was excellent as always and the staff are great. Cannot wait to go back 😁

We really enjoyed our roasts, and the beef was perfectly cooked. Busy but no delays, and a good price. Will be back to try midweek menu.

A wonderful afternoon tea for Valentine’s Day. I’ve eaten teas here before but this was amazing and already booked another! Great restaurant manager and staff as friendly as always.

This was our first visit as it was recommended. Out of 4 meals ordered, only one was good. All we paid was for the drinks. Did not stay for a sweet or coffee.

I last reviewed The Greenhouse about 18 months ago but have eaten there several times since. For me consistency is important and this establishment never fails to satisfy that criteria.

Choice of menu was excellent and good was good. Portions not over large but enough. Attention to detail very good. Staff friendly. Very cosy, comfortable and relaxing. The outside space and seating is also excellent when weather permits.

I have visited The Greenhouse a number of times since it has opened and have enjoyed bar snacks and food in the restaurant including Sunday lunches. The staff have always been friendly and cheerful, albeit a bit slow on occassions especially when busy.

Stopped here on Tuesday evening with family ... shared a few starters and then two of us had of the specials menu and I had the burger all was outstanding couldn’t fault the whole evening

We had previously eaten here and enjoyed both Sunday lunch,midweek lunch and dinner and we're looking forward to a family meal, unfortunately this did not happen.

Really like what they’ve created here. Since I discovered it a year ago I’ve been a regular visitor - it’s the only restaurant of its type in the area. Completely enclosed in glass - hence the name, it’s light and airy with a comfortable bar area with open fire and an attached brasserie style restaurant. Pizzas are great and you get 2 for 1 before 7pm - a bargain. In winter they do lovely hot mulled wine and a warm cider which are both delicious.

I had seen this restaurant online and had high hopes when I booked a table to celebrate my fathers birthday. The setting was promising but very soon after being seated things went downhill. The staff left us for a long time before asking us if we wanted any drinks and when they arrived they were either flat or simply the wrong order. The food was mediocre at best and certainly didn't the Warrant the price tag. I'm not adverse to paying extra for good quality food but the greenhouse certainly didn't provide this. The staff were nowhere to be seen and when they did arrive they appeared flustered and rushed which was surprising giving the fact that the restaurant was very empty. When the bill arrived we had been charged for items we hadn't had and when we raised this with the waitress she rolled her eyes and tutted before removing them. All in all a very disappointing visit and I won't be returning given that there are other restaurants in the area that provide better food, ambience and service at a fraction of the cost.

Nice drop-in with a range of items on the menu. Works as a restaurant, coffee bar or pastry cafe. Hard to find but worth the trip

The food is just No imagination and poorly executed. This might suit the clientele who live in the surrounding flats but if you want to appeal to a younger market please improve the food as it is just not worth the taxi fare when Corsham has much better places and Bath is just down the road

Being local to the area I was surprised that I hadn't stumbled upon this gem sooner! Located in the middle of the luscious Wiltshire countryside the Greenhouse has a impressive decor which is homely yet chic, very welcoming during this dreary time of year. It seems the perfect place I feel for either just drinks or as we had dinner. We were greeted by a friendly young lady who quickly found us a table as we had not booked, she did very well as we put her under the Spanish inquisition asking about the retirement village that surrounds the restaurant and its other facilities- She was very knowledgable and a pleasure! Our service was quick and efficient, the team of two girls and a young chap seemed to work effortlessly together and seemed to be enjoying their work. To top things off our food was excellent (the large risotto is HUGE! not a bad thing might I add) and it was a nice experience to be able to see our food made fresh behind the open pass looking out to the restaurant. I look forward to coming again and sampling your Sunday lunch! Thank you!

First visit here for a special Christmas meal with family and friends. Reserved a table as required a Saturday night. Had a great table chosen for us where we could see the chefs at work in their kitchen! All pre-ordered meals arrived as expected. Never felt rushed, staff friendly and attentive. Portion sizes generous and we all agreed this was the BEST roast turkey dinner we had ever had. Restaurant nicely set out for all table sizes and was really busy. Food exceptional and really highly recommended. A great gem set in the Wiltshire countryside.

Knowing the area quite well, we were surprised to have never come across this place before. On paper it looks fantastic and the location is superb - plenty of parking and nice greenery.

I have visited the Greenhouse twice in the last month; both times for lunch. The venue is lovely, the food is good but on both occasions the service was very poor. Staff not taking our order, the order taking ages to come out from the kitchen, staff not concentrating on their customers as preoccupied with each other. Not sure how you are going to cope with Christmas meals! Reading back through past reviews service seems to be an ongoing problem at times. Such a shame as the place could be excellent. It has all the potential....

My husband and I visit the greenhouse twice weekly sometimes and are never amazed at the welcome we get. On Friday we again enjoyed wonderful food , I had the gammon and my husband beef bourguignon.

We've been several times with friends. The food is always good and the location is great. It's just such a shame that the service is so poor. We had to remind the waiter three times of our drinks order, it wasn't that they were busy behind the bar as both waiters seemed to be checking their iPhones!! Even when desserts were delivered we had to ask for cutlery. Trying to attract the attention of staff is hard and when they see you they walk away! We even overheard other customers saying the same. What a shame as last night was probably our last visit.
