On a very hot day it was fantastic to be able to sit outside and enjoy taking in the square and sunshine. My wife and I both ordered the fish finger pannini which was very tasty and just the right amount we were looking for. My wife had the mango cooler which was delicious in the heat and I had a vanilla iced coffee. We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch here and would definitely revisit again!

Sadly, I can only describe the people who run this cafe as “cowards” as the customer service was so bad it was the worst I have ever experienced. This experience will be on my mind for a while and I will enjoy encouraging people away from this cafe.

Stopped in here during my visit to Bradford-on-Avon just before lockdown. I was a little nervous as I was by myself and the café was relatively full but the staff were lovely and cleared a small table for me. I had a decaf Americano and a chocolate triangle and both were very nice. Would definitely consider coming back if I visit again!

Having visited Bradford on Avon a number of times before, we were surprised to discover a small part of the town that we hadn't visited previously. While exploring the Lamb Yard section, we discovered Coffee Etc, with outdoor and indoor seating, and an excellent menu of snacks, light meals, hot and cold drinks and sweet deserts available. We chose to sit outside, where the tables are nicely spaced apart, as the weather was dry and not cold. We both opted for a breakfast meal with a hot coffee, were served by friendly and helpful staff. in a very nicely located environment. The meals arrived quickly and hot, were plentiful and tasty, and represented excellent value. After finishing our meals, we went inside to use the toilets, and were met by the sight of lovely looking cakes, flapjacks etc, which were just asking to be sampled! Having purchased some caramel flapjacks for later in the day, we had a lovely conversation with the owner of the cafe - what a nice and friendly lady - before taking our leave, but this location will definitely be on our radar next time we are in the area.

If the milkshakes for the other 3 in our party hadn't been so good I would have given one star. The milkshakes were ordered by one of the party, then I attempted to ask the girl serving about what gluten free options were available stating I have Coeliac's Disease. I first thought she might have a cast in her eye as she appeared to be looking over my shoulder while I was speaking to her. But it seemed she was just distracted as she then looked at me and asked me to repeat everything and then looked blank before proceeding to tell me of a variety of milks they had. I actually only wanted normal milk and hadn't planned on a milkshake anyway like the other three.I then asked about the icecream - if it was gluten free as I had spotted affogato on the menu outside. The girl said the icecream contained gluten (without checking this) and I was surprised as they advertised Kelly's icecream which is generally gluten free. The girl then enlisted the help of a colleague who brought some unbranded icecream out of the freezer to check the ingredients. At this point I said if it was gluten free I'd like an affogato. Blank stares - what is an affogato? It is on your board I said. However just to keep things simple as I was beginning to feel embarrassed with the trouble my questions and requests appeared to be causing, I just had an iced coffee. I am disappointed that with the new legislation regarding allergies that this cafe is not very clued up, certainly on gluten and gluten free. Hopefully they have more knowledge regarding allergies that are potentially life threatening if ingested.

The seating area is made up of sofas and low tables along with usual dining type tables and chairs. I was brought over my coffee and warm soya which was good and waited for my sandwich. From behind me at the back of the cafe a young, maybe mid 20s male server with arms full of tattoos using both hands on a teaplate, placed in next to me on my table. I do not like writing reviews that criticise establishments I much prefer to compliment. We called in this morning for a breakfast before our long journey home. Whilst I understand that its difficult to please everyone (reading other reviews shows some people are just out to find fault) surely its not hard to put a meal on the table hot and worth the money. Regrettably, the sausage was hard and overdone, the bacon was the same and the beans were cold. The plate was cold and so was the toast. You should not expect the customer to raise these issues with you, you should know how to present food. At nearly £8 it was just not up to scratch. I left without comment and others will do as I have done on this site. You must ensure that all the food is presented well or you risk similar reviews in future. Might I suggest you ask your customers quietly if everything is ok rather than gamble with your reputation.

Our first visit to this quaint town, my partner feeling a little hungry we stopped by Coffee Etc as it was quiet with no other customers waiting to be served. I ordered a Latte & Almond cake for myself, a pot of tea & a Ploughman's for my partner, not too good value at over £14 but in keeping with what most similar properties charge. Predictably, the waiting time was minimal with the drinks served within 5 minute's, the ploughman's following 5 minutes later.. But.. No cake for me. Before I'd almost finished my drink, I was forced to go ask for my cake. With apologies, the young girl eventually brought it to me and very tasty too. Just a shame it was forgotten about with no queue and only one other customer already served, I found this unacceptable really. Average rating from me and looking at other reviews, I conclude that some staff may have memory issues!!

One of the many, many coffee shops in Bradford on Avon - clearly the town's number one industry . This one is by the river (although you can't see it), just off the centre. An oldish building, a warehouse perhaps, refurbished. Coffee, fizzy water and a cake came to £6, which was brought to my table with a smile. Embarrassingly, I had no change for a tip. Sorry. We waited an age for our lunch dishes and when they arrived they were a mixed platter. The jacket potato with tuna and sweetcorn was perfectly acceptable but nothing exceptional and the hummous and pepper wrap was extremely paltry- fortunately I was not ravenous otherwise I would have been disappointed. The raspberry iced tea was unpleasant to say the least, it had not been mixed properly and had far too much syrup in it. Overall an OK lunch but nothing to write home about.

I ordered an iced coffee and a sandwich - the service was really slow (I had to go back inside to chase my order despite it being pretty quiet),The sandwich was ok, but the iced coffee was literally just like a black Americano over ice (perhaps this was my fault for ordering the wrong thing - but it wasn't what I was expecting). My biggest gripe was the cost - it was nearly £8 for the sandwich and the coffee. A grate of parmesan would have made it perfect. The coffee blend is excellent. I think the decor might have been a bit more imaginative. Coffee sacks on the wall doesn't really hit the spot. Staff were friendly and gave good advice on things to do in the town.

There are a number of cafes in Bradford but this is the one I choose to visit regularly. Service is always excellent, great cakes (try the millionaire's shortbread) and sandwiches. Above all fantastic coffee - a must given it is a coffee shop. The owners really care about the taste and preparation of their teas and coffees.

From the other reviews it sounds as if we were unlucky! We both love really good coffee and any excuse to try out as many cafes as possible! We've been to many cafe/restaurant in BoA, but Coffee etc. was disappointing in that the coffee was flavourless. Lovely little place though.

Choice of good coffees/ teas and cakes. Tasty light snacks. Right in the centre of Lamb Yard, so a good place to visit after the local farmer's market.

... especially with a double shot. Most independent cafes make their cappuccinos far too hot, and just burn away the flavour [and your tongue]; not at "Coffee etc".

What a lovely, friendly, family atmosphere. Clearly popular with the locals and rightly so. Glad we found it, as it's not on the main street, but in the courtyard just off it, by the Post Office and Budgens before the bridge. They deserve your custom.

Popped in whilst walking the dogs over from Trowbridge on a very cold February Sunday. Great coffee (delighted to find somewhere that does a decent cortado) and a helpful waiter who asked if the dogs would like treats (which they do). As we were sat outside freezing he asked if we wanted to come in as they are dog friendly. Good service young man well done!!

I visited here yesterday (Saturday 31st January) for a quick drink. The 2 female staff were very friendly. I had a few drinks (hot chocolate, tea and milk for my son) which were served quickly and were nice. I loved the little cookies and gingerbread people that are also a very reasonable price, just right for children (my son ended up having 3 by the time we left)Nice place for a quick drink and snack.

Been here quite a few times. Coffee is very good. Toasted tea cakes are excellent. It is very nice to sit outside in the summer, but also ok inside. Found the service to be prompt and friendly.

As a local I have been here a few times and I find service is always slow. Last time we visited it took half an hour to be served 2 coffees and cake. It was not a busy time as lots of tables where free and only drinks and cake was being served. We mentioned that we had been waiting quite a while and the owner said he was short staffed, but didn't apologise and said he would like to check the receipt for the order time to prove are waiting time! He then served us our cake and coffee, but got one of the cakes wrong and replaced it with the correct cake (no apology). Our receipt was never looked at or any compensation given to us. Both staff which serviced us were impolite and lacking customer focus. However the drinks were nice and so was one of the cakes, the other cake was dry (couldn't be bothered to mention it at this point). We think the staff would do better to admit fault and apologise if customers are unhappy. If there is a long waiting time, staff should tell customers when taking orders, then customers will be understanding. We also noticed that waiters were returning to the kitchen empty handed when lots of tables were full of dirty dishes after people had left. It just seems a bit disorganised. Therefore we recommend going to one of the many other coffee shops rather here!

Having ate here before and had a good time I thought it would be good for a birthday meal for 4 on a Monday lunch time how disappointing it was. 2 Steak & Stiton pies ordered although very tasty lacked Stiton and was meant to be served with veg we had to ask for the veg which when it arrived after several minutes the excuse was we only have 2 microwaves not the excuse I wanted, the other 2 meals were fine, unfortunately we will not go back.

We visited on a Sunday for breakfast. Arriving a couple of minutes after 10am (opening time), we queued for a table and then again to order food. There were plenty of tables but appreciated it was busy - not all tables were full. We waited for 50 minutes for our food to arrive, although coffee arrived much earlier. This was prompted by us asking where our food was/checking the order had been made, to which we were told ‘we’d just have to wait because it was busy’. The food arrived 5 minutes later. The food was tasty and we’ve no complaints about the quality or price. But, something about the system here just doesn’t make sense, queuing at every point and then waiting another 50 minutes for scrambled eggs on toast and a bacon sandwich, doesn’t make sense. We arrived at 10 and didn’t leave until 12:15…. People had started arriving for lunch! Sadly, we’d not return. There are just other places nearby that are doing it better.

We booked a table for the opening party, the pub opened earlier in the week with new staff and owners.

The location of this establishment is strange because the shop/restaurant sits within what is essentially a business park in the middle of nowhere but it is not hard to find. The setting was ideal for a summer lunch with lots of variously covered areas to shelter from the sun or rain if it happens. Then you realise that all these covered areas are, in fact, the restaurant! I saw no evidence of indoor seating. The main seating area is fundamentally a plastic marquee attached to a shop unit and all the seats are picnic benches. They have an interesting menu, which changes regularly I understand, and it is obvious that this establishment is not trying be a full all ‘singing and dancing’ restaurant and they do make that clear. It uses locally sourced quality produce for Deli style light meals, specifically lunches, and also snacks. The people running it are personable, welcoming and efficient. We found them very helpful and attentive and the food was delicious. Overall, the food menu is a little overpriced I feel but not excessive. That said, a few dishes do seem “over the top’ for what they are. It is the shop where the prices are eyewatering expensive and I think they have gone too far. I can here them now saying that they are supporting local suppliers and that this comes at a cost but times are hard and I do truly believe they, or their suppliers, need to face reality as the pricing is far too high. We need to support businesses like this but they have to respond too! Did I enjoy my meal? Yes, fantastic, Would I go again? Yes, definitely! Would I encourage you to go? Yes definitely! I just warn you that your visit will be enjoyable but not cheap so be prepared.

Great evening! It did not disappoint! The black rock fillet steaks were amazing. The young waitresses were both lovely, always smiling & nothing was too much trouble for them. The pub has a lovely atmosphere and we all enjoyed the evening. We would highly recommend a visit here!
