Absolutely lovely all fresh n tasty oone of if not best sausage roll ever had , will try all other things one by one each visit , looking in window is heaven let alone eating there yummy food

Oh what has become of Reeves? Service awful...waited 15 minutes to be served...ordered jacket potatoes 20 minutes later still waiting...as I have paid I can't leave. Never to return!

Just thought I grab a coffee and I didn't know it was a machine anyway asked for a large decaf coconut latte didn't know they didn't do coconut so had a soya latte but very disappointed it tasted and looked very milky hardly any coffee saw her top it up not many coffee beans was on a rush and spilt everywhere

As ever the apple pie OMG to die for, a busy week is always rewarded by fantastic service, thank you Amy ❤️ not forgetting the awesome apple pies mmm All staff are always happy and friendly, a joy to visit!

There’s a notice: please wait to be seated but it didn’t say for how long. I stood there ignored by all 4 staff well in excess of 5 mins. The restaurant wasn’t even half full. Our lunch was very good as was the service.

I normally write my reviews down straight away on paper at the time but I’m late uploading to Trip Advisor. Haven’t been in this little cafe upstairs for years. I chose the toasted sandwich. It came with crisps, coleslaw and a salad. It’s the best toasted sandwich I’ve had in a long time whilst out at a cafe. Friendly service and would definitely recommend and return again.

We visited this place as wanted to try some of the donuts - all good. Coffee and cheesy sticks were good too. All for to go, so I can’t comment if we would stay for eat on. The lady on the counter was friendly and nice.

The food in the shop is great but the service in the restaurant upstairs is very poor and the menu very limited. This is a shame as in the past it was a great little cafe - no longer, best avoided, sorry.

Whilst being difficult to cut (I thought it was the knife at first, but it was difficult to chew too) the sausage managed to be completely tasteless, the leather like bacon was over salty which went with the completely unseasoned rubbery scrambled eggs. Also the coffee was completely tasteless and we asked for a wet latte (no foam) and we were told it comes without foam, when it came, it had foam and was beyond weak. We were asked to pay up front which for a sit down meal is a little strange, so instead of being able to voice out concerns when it came time to pay we just had to leave our unbeaten tasteless "breakfast" behind If someone had checked on us during our breakfast we could've voiced our concerns to them, rather than put them out for the world.

Have been going here with my son for nearly ten years. Great bacon sandwiches (get there before 11am for their breakfast menu). Friendly staff. If you’re in Salisbury and want somewhere authentically local with Wiltshire produce, come here.

Ate in the tea room upstairs. Uninterested staff. What we got was not as appealing as it looked in the pastry shop downstairs.

Best apple pie around! Individual pies would be better but the large ones will do for now. Ben and his team are fantastic, always happy and will always make time for a quick chat. Don’t stop the Apple pies!

Great bakery with some fantastic sandwiches.

I could not sit upstairs with my hot choco the lady rudely told me I could not eat upstairs, making me nervous I then went downstairs and got pushed out the way by more angry staff when I tucked into my greasy grub it was all cold and sloppy a mirror of the staff who work there. Furthermore, the prices are ridiculous I have never seen small business charge so much on supermarket quality rubbish. Won't go again.

I went to reeve to help out small business and not go to Costa next door.got told I couldn't drink out of takeaway cup and food upstairs only to be told to stand down stairs. I was waiting for someone and had a hour to kill. If you have stupid rules you will lose business. Just make it simple it's not hard.

Delicious food. Not the cheapest but well worth the cost!

Had a day out in Salisbury and passed this bakery. Food looked nice in the window but very expensive. As someone who loves sausage rolls I thought at over £3 each they must be top quality. All I can say is, it was absolutely disgusting the meat was mush, wet like baby food with very little flavour. I had 2 bites and threw it in the bin. The absolute worst snack I've ever had. If this is typical of their food they should be embarrassed.

Love their bread! Got this fruit (tastes very similar to hot cross bun)bread today and it's delicious. The place is quite busy and lively on the weekends.

When I walked in I was met with a woft of delicious pastry smells I ordered the cheesy stick and custard doughnut and the staff member kindly found my item and wrapped it up in paper bag good for the environment. When I took my first bite of the doughnut my mind exploded it oozed in my mouth and melted on my tounge, It was so good I accidentally spilt some custard on my lap which was rather amusing. The cheese struck was like eating a slice of heaven. I will be going again and recommend to my family and friends, best bakery I have ever been to!

We stopped coming to Reeves a few years ago after not having a brilliant experience. We recently gave it another try and we were delighted with our experience. Went back today with our daughter and again we were impressed. Absolutely delicious sandwiches made with Reeves fabulous bread, served with a lovely sized salad and coleslaw. The mini shortbread given with the coffee is a great touch. All the waiting staff are extremely friendly and efficient but we really want to mention Sara, who gives exceptional customer service.

Ignored on entry and sausage roll too mushy and crust stale the doughnuts are nice but messy to eat and you will regularly get shouted at to order while you are just stood looking at the options and making a choice I would advise to make your choices through the windows outside to prevent this

Beware extra charge to eat in! Having clocked the approximately 25% added cost on everything if eating in, we decided not to buy anything. Such a shame as it all looked tasty.

Being market day the cafe was busy but a table was cleared and we did not have to wait long. The staff were polite and friendly and our rolls came with crisps, salad and coleslaw. Reasonably priced. The two waitresses worked very swiftly and efficiently but really the cafe was understaffed Will definitely return

Weak coffee, and the spinach and cheese pastry was quite vile…couldn’t eat it. Expensive as well.

Called in first day of our visit to Salisbury ended up twice in one day and every day we were there What a bakery/cafe food to die for cakes and pastries some of the best we have tasted and all other food served looked wonderful Staff were so friendly and helpful even remembering us the next day after all the people who had passed through their doors Have not felt that welcome in many a year so a huge thank you for that Even when the place was busy (which was most of the time) you was not kept waiting long tables cleared and ready so quickly and all staff still with a smile big thank you to all staff and of course those bakers behind the scenes top marks to you all

10/10! We loved Reeve. After a day at the races and having spent the night in Salisbury we were looking for a light breakfast. Two American Coffees, a Flat White and a Pot of Tea accompanied by Croissants, Apple Danish and a Cinnamon Twirl there were four satisfied customers. Had it been a hour later the cooked breakfast would have had more appeal; it’s priced at an eye catching £7.50 which is good value. The cafe is located within the bakers which offers loads and loads of brilliant stuff. We were really taken with Reeve.

Peak lunchtime, quick and efficient service, food very tasty. Do recommend this one over the silver street reeves

Closes way too early at 4pm. Went to Greggs which has sensible opening hours.

Best bakery in salisbury... A must try if you haven't already. Quality bread made the tradional way.

Excellent selection of tasty savouries and cakes. Table service on first floor was swift and friendly. Good toilets too. Top traditional bakery for a quick stop and didn't get the impression that everything was stuffed full of artificial additives.

Brilliant wonderful wonderful baked goods. The almond croissant is simply a bomb! Buttery, heavy, meaty. Yes, the perfect croissant.

Went to have a coffee and cake here on Saturday afternoon. Went upstairs only to be told by a gruff waitress that we couldn’t sit here as they were closing, even though there were still people sitting here. Coffee was very average too..

Great local baker. Stopped for a tea and cake. Great value and friendly local service. Got a Larry cake and Viennese whirl!!

Zero stars for this place. Just went in, purchased a drink and a pastry, and headed upstairs to sit down, only to be approached by staff saying I could not sit inside, because I purchased downstairs 'from a different menu'. What on earth is that about?! There were at least 10 tables available for others (lunchtime on Good Friday!), so no honest reason to let me spend 10 mins there. I left and will never go back. Looking at other reviews, many have had a similar experience. So don't waste your time and money. The hot chocolate was Cadbury sugary powder, not worth the price!

This review is for the café only. I'm a loyal long term Reeves customer and I will continue to be so for the bakery, but I will never visit your Salisbury café ever again. We arrived and queued at the top of the stairs. We could see at least 4 free tables, admittedly only one was cleared, but we were left stood waiting at the top of the stairs nearly 10 minutes and ignored, except to be asked to move out of way while they cleared tables (quite rudely too), which they didn't actually do anyway. After 10 minutes, and still being ignored, we left. There are too many cafés in Salisbury for your staff to treat customers this way.

Just been into Reeves Bakery, Blandford, for coffee and cake and whilst I agree their sourdough is legendary and their food wholly excellent, they should remember-that not everybody loves dogs, this doesn’t make us bad people, just more conscious about hygiene when around food preparation and consumption. I accept that Reeve’s policy is to allow dogs into their cafe, however I was shocked to see today two dogs sat up at the table, this I find disgusting and establishments that allow the practice are surely not worthy of a full hygiene certificate

Used to be good but last couple of times has played my tummy up a little i think maybe instead of being made fresh everyday which i would expect for the price it maybe frozen and cooked in the morning like greggs but the fact it is much more expensive than greggs i would expect fresh , but there you go thats the same most places now since the independents went

Excellent afternoon tea for two. Tastychoice of well filled sandwiches, crisps, salad and cake and proper tea in a pot. Good value.

Went into the newly opened first floor coffee shop, told the young lady my husband was downstairs asking if we needed to order downstairs or in the coffee shop itself, I was immediately informed if he bought the food downstairs we couldn't eat it it upstairs so we ordered our food and asked for a piece of cake any cake and we were told we couldn't order cake to be eaten upstairs. I could not believe my ears needless to say we will not be using the coffee shop again . So so sad .

This is a really good bakery and cafe providing numerous products served by helpful polite staff. The bread bloomer we purchased was particularly delicious and we also sat outside and enjoyed a fruit juice, coffee and bacon & sausage roll that was impressive in both content and taste. In a great position for both a shopping break and people watching it has never failed to impress me with service and quality, Having visited it several times I thoroughly recommend it

Bit of a joke No good - cooked breakfast No good size breakfast, choice of beans or tomato. Tomato not even cooked beans arrived cold sausage not hot 73c regulations not being met. Sort your act out could be nice place.

Everything was lovely, food, drink, waitress upstairs in the cafe. All changed when we went downstairs to purchase some baguettes to take away and the server was so rude and abrupt, no smile/happy Christmas nothing, obviously didn't want to be there!!!

Had a sausage roll it was absolutely gopping!. The sausage meat had the consistency of chewing gum and had no flavour. Knocked me sick.

Cheese straw 3 for £2.40 just amazing. luck to ordered it just freshly not long out of the oven. Love love love.

Disappointing, 2 Wiltshire pasties were very average, unlike the price! I'm pretty sure the sandwich loaf I bought was left over from Saturday or before? High pricing, but the food is just average at best. The staff were very polite and helpful.

Arrived Monday 6th November would of liked a coffee and cake with partner, climbed the very thin stairway to upstairs seating area, had to stop on the stairs as two ladies in front, I asked why we couldn't get further in and the ladies pointed to a sign on the table at the top of the stairs saying "wait to be seated". There were 6 clean available tables to sit at. The ladies said they had been waiting ages already. Two staff visible, one taking a payment, the other flapping about with a cloth. I enquired why we couldn't be seated the older staff with the cloth informed us we seat you so we can fit people in, I pointed and said there are available seats we are queueing on the stairs it's dangerous, more people had joined the queue trailing down the stairs, now nobody can get out passed them , people trying to get out, elderly customers on the stairs, seats available. I went to find the manager and complained. We left, will never return

Absolutely wonderful upstairs cafe. Food just lush! We had the Tea for two with sandwiches, huge teapot of tea and cake. Really filling and tasty. The staff were so fantastic. New lady called Doris was superb. Would thoroughly recommend! Thank you!

Wonderful selection of bread and pastries. Enjoyed the freshly-baked pies. Unfortunately no gluten-free options available.

Nice products but never come across such miserable staff in my life i visited one in Amesbury and Salisbury staff we're the same in both and products way overpriced not worth the money they charge will not go back.

We tried the spinach-cheese and the minced beef filled pastries and liked them very much! As for popularity, among the lot of vegetarians, like my friend, it was hard to find options for her here, they don't have any vegan options, but we she a compromise with the cheese and she liked it very much. The pastries made us full for long hours while wandering around the Stonehenge and the Cathedral. :)

Just visited Reeve in Salisbury and was very dissapointed to be told by the assistant that none of your products are vegan, and no vegan option could be offered. If this is true, which I suspect it is not, I find it wrong that in 2023 you can not provide an option for my diet. Also the assistant, Trixie, was very rude and made no attempt to apologise for the lack of vegan option. Will not be going back.

We went into the dine in area as we have had some good standards when taking away but when we ordered the drinks took a long time to come and then the Brie and cranberry toastie crumbled when I picked it up. I would visit again if the service was quicker. If you order a toastie then you will be given a salad that looked like it had been picked from a nearby field. Not a good experience!

Excellent lunch food, we ate it outside.

My one year old is super upset about the icing that isn’t on our Belgium bun! Wilton Reeves know how to pack these correctly, I think Salisbury need teaching…. :(

Probably the best Bakers in Salisbury! An amazing array of bread, cakes and pastries which are all delicious 😋 People rave about Greggs sausage rolls but they are not a patch on the sausage rolls from Reeves!

Lovely bakery with table service upstairs. The tea for 2 was great and not expensive.

I still enjoy all the baked goods from Reeve, and the food is decent upstairs, but the selection has gone way down at the sit down restaurant, and our teapot had dust all over it, which was off-putting. The baked goods are as delicious as ever.

There's two Reeve's in the city; I visited the one with the sit down cafe upstairs 30/06/23, where I've been before. Nice and central, gets busy at peak times. Friendly waitresses, ordered Brie & Bacon toastie, choice of white or seeded bread. It was a large plate of food when it arrived with plenty of salad and crisps. Coffee good too. The main bakery downstairs has a quality range of pastries. Loo's available but up another flight of stairs.

Just had an Almond Croissant £2,35. Unfortunately I was really disappointed: it's a simple butter croissant (a good one ok) but the only almond element was the thin caramelized flakes outside, and no filling inside. I was looking for an almond chocolate croissants, and since they don't have them, I settled for a simple almond croissant, and when I discovered little to no almond, I was quite let down.

This is probably one of the best bakers that I've had the pleasure to visit. The Wiltshire pastys are to die for absolutely beautiful. The only downside is parking to use the store. I risked a parking ticket by parking in the square, had to go buy one. Remembered it from my last visit

From a customers perspective, Great food, honestly best fast food ever, slightly more expensive than average but well worth the extra money From a staff members point of view Starting pay minimum wage, when initially applying the job descriptions are a complete lie. They state Monday-Friday with Weekend availability, then rota you in to work at least 1 day every single Weekend and if you try and argue youwill be made to feel as if your lettong the (team) they call it family for additional pressure to "support the family" . What the hell happened to simple honestly and genuine moral values this company originally had!!! This is not an isolated case, it's systemic in almost all Reeves Job descriptions, classic bait and switch tactics. Dishonest and unethical, they have lost their way, once an honest local business, now adopting the big corporate model of maximising profits over people

Reasonable lunch at Reeve, toasted sandwiches for two , and pasty . Order written down but 'sausage roll ' brought to table incorrectly instead of pasty - short wait for actual correct order . Good portion size.

Undercooked Sausage Rolls. I took a bite and had to throw the rest away. On holiday and on our way home so couldnt take it back.

The Wiltshire Pasty was sooo good! I'm normally not a fan of this kind of stuff but well done!! 👍👍

Excellent value for money. I had a toast basket and for less than 4 quid I expected a bit of sourdough and a bit of whole meal. I got 4 different types, all great, and it was practically a loaf’s worth! Mrs L’s breakfast bap was huge and whilst the contents won’t win any gourmet food awards they did a job. Our follow up cakes weren’t subtle in flavour but were suitably decadent. Add two coffees and there was change out of twenty quid.

The ham was a cold slice on the side. The soup was lukewarm. Altogether disappointing, especially on such a cold day. Upon commenting we were told it was the oven system that was programmed that way and there was no control to make it hotter. This is probably a cost cutting measure. If so it’s a very poor management decision

The bakery looks fantastic so we thought we’d try their cafe. A couple of toasties, and a couple of filled rolls. Teas snd cold drinks. 20mins waiting to place order and drinks arrived after another 15 mins. Finally the food after another half hour wait. Poor service , you are made to feel like you are an inconvenience & food arrived uncooked/ untoasted Shame !

Very expensive bakery, went in yesterday to purchase a sausage roll. There were 4 members of staff stood behind the tills, but yet I was still stood there for almost 5 minutes before I was acknowledged, even though each and every member of staff had made contact with me at least once. Not even an apology when I was being served just blunt customer service. The sausage roll cost £2.80 which I didn't mind as it looked good. Unfortunately it only looked good, the sausage meat was mushy and had almost no flavour to it at all. I would have taken it back but had already arrived back at my car before I tried it, so just ended up binning the sausage roll. Could have went to a different well known bakers around the corner and got served straight away for 1/3 of the price but 10x the flavour. Would like to say I recommend, but I just wouldn't.

Delicious scran, sausage roll was immaculate, however the prices are extortionate, but this is the cost of living now a days. Overall the quality was brilliant and the scran was banging Food: 8/10 Service: 6/10 Overall: 7/10 Keep Scranning , TGL Fridays

Really disappointed, croissants were not fresh at all and just tasted like pre packaged ones. Bacon baguette used horrible fatty bacon and the pasty was just vile. This isn’t a bakery at all just a horrible version of greggs

Good food, but rather over priced. I was seriously annoyed with there regular coffee size especially with the price they was. Better off going to Costa! A take away Regular coffee is more like a shot cup!

Cracking local bakery, for pies/pastries on the go or as I like to do with my mum - tea for two upstairs in the cafe/restaurant.

I'm new to area and never had reeves. Definitely the best baked goods I've had. Billion times better than Gregg's. I'm definitely gonna gain some weight as I'll be back for more pastries

Went in today (05/08/2022) and staff were very abrupt and rude which is an awful shame because the food and prices are very good. I regularly visit the Reeves in Salisbury but don’t think i’ll be returning after this morning.

Tasteless sandwich with two day old bread. Nice setup and infrastructure.

you got the best sausage rolls in the whole of salisbury honestly i went there and when i finished i felt like i ate one great meal so this is why i am giving this a big 5
