We had two breakfast’s which were extremely basic and the food was all cold. They seem to use all Tesco’s lowest quality products. Will not be returning

22 Church Street, EnglandAfter having a lovely few hours in Lacock we started looking for a place to have lunch. Red Lion was full with a long wait for tables so we tried Carpenters Arms which was closed. Reluctantly we tried this cafe. I put my mask on and walked in an an elderly gentleman without any form of greeting barked at me “do you have masks?!”. I explained that while I had one on, the kids didn’t have them and my sister-in-law did not have one but had a scarf she could cover her nose and mouth with. He barked again “it’s not the same as a mask is it, we’ve had a death in Lacock!!!!”. By then my S-I-L had found a mask but I was so disgusted I told him that his manner left a lot to be desired and that I wouldn’t be spoken to like that. Thanked him for his warm welcome and left. What a vile horrible man and reading some other reviews, it seems he’s there often. Avoid avoid avoid!
