We all enjoyed a great Sunday lunch and the staff were so attentive and helped to take plate to table for me. Pleased to see the place was busy and well supported by locals.

The traditional cooked breakfasts here are very good, the coffee superb, the people are friendly and the service is excellent. However, Out of all the scores of vegan sausages available, they managed to produce, for over £7 a sandwich containing two small, mashed potato, pea and carrot croquettes between two slices of bread, which I abandoned. So, then I ordered the most expensive, tiny, cheese scone in the world. It cost £5.25, and was red hot and heavy as lead - with no discernible taste of cheese. My wife had a tea cake. With drinks the bill was around £24. So stick to the cooked breakfasts is my advice.

I am thrilled that you are getting back up and running. I've had so many relaxed and friendly hours in the cafe with friends that I am looking forward to more accompanied by a fab nut roast and side salads fit for a queen. Airy and plenty of space (unlike other cafes that cram as many in as they can) so it feels very Covid safe even without have to make big changes.

Pretty average costa. Having gone to this Costa a few times I have found the staff very nice for the most part. The atmosphere is great although on occasion I feel cleanliness could be improved often you go in to find mugs and cups all over tables where they have not cleaned up. I appreciate when they are busy which they often are this would be difficult to keep on top of. However proper management of staff would go a long way. I've worked in a similar food and beverage industry myself, clear leadership is required which is obviously not there currently. Some staff are obviously better than others. I do find what I assume to be the manageress to be at times unprofessional I have witnessed her telling staff off in ear shot and view of customers. Seems that staffing is often inadequate for the business levels hence the cleanliness issues. Overall it's OK, could be better.

We heard The White Hart was under new ownership so we came along for midweek lunch - it was great! We were warmly greeted by a kind lady behind the bar which had lots of ale, lager & cider choices. We ordered the daily special with a drink which for £12 was great value. The Cod & Chips and Scampi were exactly what you’d expect from a country town pub grub - well worth the money. The desert of STP was also lush. We’d definitely recommend this pub for a great quality and great value midweek lunch. We’ll come back for Sunday Lunch soon.

Absolutely brilliant roast dinner for Easter Sunday. Table of 12 all enjoyed excellent roasts, kids meals and desserts. Hugely generous portions and excellent service!

Only gave 1 as half isn't an option utterly disgusting, rude staff, food was below any kind of standard and cold when I complained felt like I was an inconvenience to the staff dirty and the whole experience was extremely unpleasant wouldn't be going their again

First visit to the farm shop despite being reasonably local. The shop itself had a good variety of produce. The meat section looked exceptional. Made the fatal mistake of looking and then going to the cafe. Returned after a drink to find all the lamb burgers gone!! Oh well just means I’ll have to come back again. We had latte, hot chocolate and shared a chocolate brownie which was nice. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The cafe very light and airy. I liked the outdoor space and the fact sheep and cattle on display. There was a nice vibe to the place in general. In summing up I would recommend a visit and we will certainly be going back for a breakfast or lunch. We will also be be looking to buy more of our meat and vegetables from here.

This pub is brilliant - the owners are so welcome and it has a great atmosphere. It is reasonably priced (we had a main meal for around £8 and a few drinks) and there is a good selection of food and drinks. It is everything a village pub should be and I’ll definitely be returning

Nice enough pub. The landlord is a bit grumpy. Cosy atmosphere with the log burner. They have different mobile take away's that park outside where you can buy your food and eat in the pub too.

Amazing experience. The staff were friendly, attentive, polite and easily available if you needed them. My mum has mobility issues and the staff assisted us to the table, lifting her walker up the small step. The carvery was superb. We will be back. Thank you to the team for making it a relaxed Sunday lunch particularly Beth, Hannah, Anna and Katie

Been here a few times now, the welcome and service is always warm and friendly. Plenty of choice for drinks and food, some great real ales on tap. The food is what makes The Lamb Inn so special though, locally sourced and great value for money. The Home Made Steak And Ale Pie is to die for, I swear if I had sneezed the puff pastry top would have flown off my plate is was so light. The meat was so tender it was easily cut with my fork, I have had this twice now, once with chips which again are home made, and this time with boiled potatoes and peas. Other meals I have had here, both for lunch and dinner have been absolutely top notch.
